I really appreciate that there's a place in Albany to recycle. I normally recycle cardboard, plastic and sometimes glass. The staff are very friendly. I know a year or so ago they sent paper flyers home that said they didn't except solid white plastic anymore. Not sure if this is still in effect. Sometimes they are not open when it seems they should be. So driving from across town only to find it closed is a bit disappointing but hey, things happen that are out of our control. Overall, I'm grateful for this place and the staff that are there especially working in the heat. Thank you all!
Never open when it’s supposed to be. 2/15/20 - supposed to be open until 6:00 pm; pulled up at 5:00 pm - locked up tight. Why is it closed????
Folks working there are rude and discourteous.
On-site workers meet you at your vehicle and get the items and place them in the bins where they belong! They accept glass bottles, aluminum cans, cardboard, magazines, plastic bottles, plastic milk containers no hardback books
I live in a town where there is limited recycling so I bring my paper to Albany. Staff is helpful and courteous. There use to be a sign that said no tipping but it’s gone now. Does this mean the staff expect to be tipped? Would be helpful to know.
