I contacted Strums Towing Company and I was clear on location with description and needing a mud extraction which they advertised that they specialize in. They verified the job could be done. I had to Venmo half of my estimate up front to get the driver dispatched.
I didn’t receive any help, and it put us in a dangerous situation. I was also told $550 and then told it would be $1000 upon arrival just for the company to not render the service at all.
A local Good Samaritan in their personal f250 had to pull BOTH the tow truck and my truck out, and now the company is refusing a refund. This Good Samaritan wouldn’t take a dime from us.
It seems they take advantage of people in vulnerable situations and lie about services, experience and specializations.
Got referred to them by Budget Roadside assistance! They were timely and clear when speaking of our situation with the truck rental. As long as you communicate with them clearly then they will be the same with you. The guy I was working with was very helpful!
Unfortunately I ran out of gas less than two miles away from the store. They came right out with a gas can to get me on my way. Gas can had a nozzle that was to short to work with my vehicle.
The guy went to the store to get a funnel and came right back.
The store didn't have any so he offered to tow my vehicle to the store free of charge.
My vehicle could not be put into neutral without it being running. He called his boss and told him the situation and he came right out with a funnel that worked.
These guys bent over backwards to get me on my way and I can not say enough good things about them. They are an excellent company and should always be considered first when you have a problem out on the road

This towing company was unprofessional. I was contacted to let me know they were on the way to one shop to pick my vehicle up to take to another shop to get repairs done. The guy told me that he would call me when he was 10 mins away. I was not contacted again until the body shop called and said the tow guy refused to pay the bill and he left. That is fine and all but he should have let me know something. Great thing about having Geico is they have options and I was able to get another towing company to assist me.
They were very helpful! My car needed to be towed and they did it in a timely manner. I rode with the driver with the driver to drop off my car and he was very polite. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely use them again
These guys are very nice and I appreciate the help they gave me with Towing my car to Columbus, Ga for repairs. They were efficient with their time and I didn't have to wait long for their arrival to my house. It was like as soon as I hung up my phone the driver was outside. Thank you guys so very much. Pleasant attitude and very understanding. I truly appreciate that. If I need Towing again in the future, these guys are whom I will call. Keep up the great work. I'm a very satisfied customer
My car was in there lot for two days and they charged me 1,500 dollars which was a scam. I had a 2013 Hyundai which I paid 4,000 dollars which was honestly insane. I tried to negotiate with them because I’m a high school student and they said they couldn’t which was honestly insane.
Great service, we broke down and gos was not cooperating, the tow truck driver found us quickly and moved us off the side of the road. Very thankful for his help.
On a camping vacation, my wife and I were travelling back from Florida toward our home in Vermont, on an expressway in Albany Georgia when the spring on our travel trailer broke clean off, dropping the body of camper onto the tire. I immediately pulled over to the breakdown lane, thinking I had blown a tire. The tire was not blown, but had been smoked and roughed up, with the camper body resting on the tire. Certainly not repairable by me -- I needed more than a tow (that tire could not roll without the body ripping it to shreds) -- I needed a flatbed! I open up my laptop and searched for "tow service near Albany GA". Luckily I contacted Strum's Elite Towing. The driver responding with the flatbed knew his business -- loaded our camper without moving that tire nor causing any further damage to the camper. I had them move it back to their lot, because I as yet had no idea who I might find to repair it (and it now being after 5PM). We followed it back to their lot and the driver explained where we could find a hotel for the night. We met the owner, paid the reasonable tow charge, and he offered to connect us with the fellow who repairs his trailers. The short story: The next day, everything expertly repaired, a very reasonable repair charge, and some free education to boot, we were back on the road! Rod and his crew (and his friends) are honest, friendly, and competent -- more than just "professional" -- especially to some strangers just passing through!

Can't praise this tow company enough. We had a work van break down in Albany at 3 PM. I called them and they had a truck on the way within 10 minutes. They hauled it all the way to Perry for a reasonable price. Amazing company. I'll definitely use them again.

I had a flat tire and did a claim through insurance. They dispatched Strums Elite Towing & Recovery. I was so pleased. Dawson was so helpful with changing my tire and showing me that I had a nail in it. He was very fast and efficient!!
My wife and I had a great experience with this company, all thanks to Preston. Very impressed with how he handled our situation, especially given that he had to pick us up at 12:30am. Very professional, very courteous. Preston turned a rough night into a smooth one by going above and beyond. A+
This is a fantastic company. I had 2 flat tires at the same time on my way to Illinois and this company was the only one that would come out and take us to a tire store on Christmas day. The gentleman (forgot his name) that towed me was professional and made sure my campervan was hooked up the right way. Thanks guys/gals for getting me back on the road and out of the Church parking lot.
