Shane sourced back ordered push rods for my Mercruiser horizon 8.1L. He got his supplier to overnight be the rods and for something I have been frantically searching for days in time for my mechanic to install them. They came while my mechanic was knee deep in my engine. If the part didn’t come he would have had to come back another day. And you know how that goes. Lanier saved the day and weekend. What a life saver and an above and beyond business.

Purchased a boat trailer that was guaranteed to be road worthy such as good tires, new wheel bearings and ready to use. Tuned out tires were dry rotted. Had to buy new ones. No biggie but on trip pulling boat back home wheel bearings blew out and welded to spindle. Stuck 3 hours away from home had to get towed and new axle put in. Just be careful of you spend your money here and be prepared to spend more on repairs. My experience was a total disaster and disappointment.

Man knows exactly where his stuff is. Be prepared to pay about full price for what you’re wanting, but I had no problem with it considering I didn’t want to wait on shipping.

PLACE IS A WASTE OF TIME!!! Drove over an hour to get a boat steering cable, didn’t have one in the shop, but told me I could go wander around the junk yard “emphasizing the word junk”. Found one in just a few minutes, waited 3.5 hours for the “mechanic” to get it off. Only to find out this guy Shane was going to charge me more than what a new one cost… don’t do business with these people unless you just hate money. If I could give less than one star i would.

I don't normally write reviews but Lanier Marine Liquidators went above & beyond the call of duty for me when I needed a new lower unit for my outboard. Their customer service was exceptional & their honesty was impeccable. From now on whenever I'm humming Billy Joel's "Honesty" song I will think of Lanier Marine Liquidators. Customer service/a good attitude (which I experienced too during my transaction)/honesty......these are super important traits for a business to flourish & Lanier Marine Liquidators excelled in all 3 areas. Kudos to y'all!!

This is an amazing place to get hard to find discontinued parts, or good used parts. I've bought several used electrical parts here which is usually kind of a gamble. Not here he typically will give a 30 day warranty with them. If it don't work. You can get another one. He also has a good selection of new parts. People giving bad reviews because it's messy? Not cool! The man helps everyone he can. At least the parts at there. If you don't like it don't go. As for me, my first call every time!

This place is the best! We have shopped here for parts on three of our past boats. David is so nice and helpful. He spent 40 mins walking the property to find a small part we needed. Shane the owner has always been nice, honest, and helpful. Because it is a liquidation place please note that most parts are salvaged so it can take some patience and determination to find what you’re looking for.

Loved my experience at Lanier Marine Liquidators today! Went there to pick up a part that has been impossible to find. I was very impressed. The owner, Shane, went above and beyond beyond to make sure the part I purchased was correct. American owned and family operated, They definitely earned a lifelong customer here.

Horrendous customer service. Anytime I’ve ever called them for a part they assure me they will call right back and never do. They will NEVER call you back you have to pursue them. I was even hung up on when I called them out and simply asked why they never return calls it was an immediate hang up. So I decided one day to just drive to pick up a part I desperately needed which they assured me was in stock and after driving an hour away they said oops I thought you said Honda not Yamaha. Waisted 2 hours driving. That’s aside from their horrible phone customer service. Yes they may have a lot of used parts others don’t but if it’s that much of a hassle to deal with them is it worth it?

Do not let the website fool you...the website is not representative of the actual location. I emailed about getting a lower unit for my 115hp Mariner outboard. Shane guaranteed me he had one in good working condition for $585. I called to double check he still had the part because it would be a 2hr drive for me to pick it up, He then stated he had a better part that was newer for $686, so I said fine, made drive got there and they had to go and find a part which i heard the employee say he was pulling it off of a motor. after about 25 min wait the employee returned with the part that looked beat up pretty bad but was working, so I agreed to buy it, Shane then suggested the impeller be changed because pieces were missing so I agreed and he sold me one for $25 and installed it. Also had a stainless steel prop on it which was an additional $125 in total spent $893.48. Drove home installed it and the telltale was no longer working, checked the impeller and found when they installed the new one they did not re install the impeller key. Sent an email to ask about the impeller key, have not received a response. Also I brought the old lower unit from my boat with me, which Shane kept and did not give me any type of core discount or anything....I will say the employees were very friendly as well as Shane himself.... I will come back and write an update to this review if he responds to my email stating that he will send me the missing key as well as explain to me why my old lower was taken with all the new parts i installed and no deduction from the cost of the new replacement unit. I am sure he is going to sell my old lower to someone else for at least $500 or better.

Last year, I needed an upper gear box for my outdrive. Shane, the owner, gave me a good deal on a perfectly functional part that did the job! Now, in February, 21 I needed the assistance of a good mechanic. Once again, Shane was very helpful! Although his mechanics were booked up, he referred me to someone else who was quite knowledgeable with my problem. LML is very customer oriented. I really like dealing with these guys! :)

I had an absolutely dreadful experience here as a customer. When I first called to ask about some parts being available, they said they were sure they had them, but would need to double check. I decided to come in and when I arrived about 30 min later, they had not even looked for the parts. Once I asked again at the store, the owner said he would look. He went to a back office and got distracted while I waited at the front desk. Some employees came in during that time and they started talking about paychecks and other things. Eventually an employee had to tell him I was still waiting. To top it all off, the owner tried marking up the cost of some very used parts on my invoice that had been sitting around for almost 8 years beyond what he originally told me. I don't know if this is a normal experience for people, but it was awful for me. I will not shop here, nor recommend it to anyone.

I was building an old 15 horse outboard and needed some obscure parts from 1955 era Evinrude or Johnson. Owner was very knowledgeable and had me set up in few minutes. There is a whole world of boat engine parts and pieces to choose from. Very satisfied with pricing also.

Horrible customer service via telephone. I had previously went into their shop to purchase a used fly wheel. The customer service was great, from the front office guy to the service guy. We then needed to purchase a used boat motor. We called twice last year, and twice this year. This year we were told he had two being worked on, and he would call us when the one that we had wanted to purchase was done being serviced. My husband called yesterday and he had already sold that motor. It was as if him and my husband had never had the previous conversation. He told my husband it was sold and then took my husbands name and number (for the third time) and promised that he would call if another 4stroke motor came in. Basically, we have been waiting a year, with now 4 phone calls and two promises of a motor, with no motor in the end. Horrible. I will never do business with them again just for the fact of the horrible communication.

Was reluctant to buy anything after the reviews. Talked to Shane he said he would guarantee that the cdi I ordered would work or he would replace it. As bad as I needed my boat running for way less than new I ordered one. It fired some but was bad. I sent it back and 2 days later I received the other one. That was yesterday so I'm putting it on tonight. I pray it's good since it's a holiday weekend. If it doesn't work I have no doubt he will send me another one as he did this time. Thanks for keeping your word and the prompt return on the other one.

I called about some used parts and they said they had some they'd just have to take some pictures of their inventory and email them to me. After a week of not hearing anything I called them back, and they said they'd get right on it, emailing me their inventory. Well after three weeks I finally got an email back saying they don't have any of said item. Could've told me that three weeks prior instead of giving me the run-around...

Be very careful doing business here. They sell USED parts and do not offer any assurance they will actually work. If you make the mistake of giving them your money before confirming that a part actually works, you will not get a refund, period. That's their "business model". Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere, if at all possible.

I would give 0 star if possible. I bought a lower unit for my boat and they gave me the wrong one. I brought it back and asked them to give me the correct one. After 3 months of calling and asking for the lower unit I became very frustrated with this bunch of clowns. After almost coming to blows with the owner I finally received the part. It would have been much easier to get a refund or go else where. Never buy from these crooks!

Love this place. Shane is awesome, very knowledgeable and helpful. Whenever I need a part for a boat or jet ski, I know he will always have what I need. Prices are WAY less than you can find anywhere online and he can ship it to you no matter how close or far you live. These are the kinds of businesses that I like using and that I wish there were more of, but sadly are disappearing these days. But as long as this place is in business, I will keep getting my parts from here.

I needed some marine parts, Shane had just what I needed. I have used Shane’s boat yard for a few years now, each purchase had no problems, some shipped to me some, some I made the trip for pickup. He has 15 acres of marine parts, I would recommend him highly. I love his customer service. Sam Solomon

Spent 4000 on a motor, waited for the repairs before picking up and they were a little dishonest on what was replaced, gave me a prop setup with miscellaneous hub parts that was told would work, had to buy somewhere else, was missing parts on the motor and was told they would gather them for me but they couldn't find them anymore, the cables givin to me were cleaned up and ziptied together neatly but when I got home one was 12ft and one was 14ft. Don't expect this place to be your one stop shop, very disorganized, once they get your money they have no motivation to assist you more, if you want quality parts this isn't the place for you,

Poor excuse for business. READ THE REVIEWS ON HERE - STAY AWAY. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF!!! We set out to purchase an outboard engine. First of all, this place is not organized and is purely a dump. No effort has been put in to even clean the inside store The mechanic seem very incompetent. We were told the pressure discrepancies on the cylinder pressure test would even out once on water and blamed it on his pressure gauge. This alone should make anyone RUN!!! Shane. Wow. The owner is Shane. He is a crook. Every word he speaks is a lie. He will not even make eye contact with you. He is the most shady individual you will ever meet. Don't believe me? Search google. Multiple sites point to numerous law suits, shady deals, deceptive transactions (some have even sunk when told was in excellent condition). I was lucky and consulted with my mechanic before making a 3,000 dollar mistake. HEED THE WARNINGS ON HERE AND EVERY OTHER SITE. STAY WAY. You, your wallet, and your wife will be glad in the end.

I asked for one part and given another. The " Yeah that's the right part " guarantee is only good for about the two seconds you are handing over the cash. Sorry no refunds even if we sell the wrong part. That's an awesome $200 lesson. I buy auto junkyard parts nearly every week, so I'm not a newb to the used parts game. Just buy new folks, save yourself stress and wasted time.

I had my bass boat on consignment to sell. After a year there weren't any reasonable offers so I picked it up. Got it home and it wouldn't start. I took it to my mechanic and he told me that someone took alot of parts off your motor. Well Shane gave me no recourse. My $5000 boat turned into a $800 as is boat. I don't trust this individual at all. His only response was there's nothing I can do about it. Years before I purchased a great Boston Whaler from him and thought I could trust him. He is a dishonest business owner. There's a good reason his review rating is so Low.

The boat my husband was sold was not a good boat. The owner of this business lied and said the boat was demonstration ready. My husband has owned this boat only 3 months and he has not even been able to enjoy it. He has been working on it since he got it. He has had to fix the water pump and the boat has been running hot. Also he did not pay the taxes in our state. My husband had to pay taxes in 2 states. He asked him would he get it right and he refuses to do anything about it. Do not buy anything from him he sells junk and refuses to do anything about it and he will not accept our phone calls. What we wanted was for him to get a water pump housing to help correct the problem but Shane has decided to not answer the phone anymore. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM. HE DOES NOT MAKE GOOD ON HIS PRODUCTS OR PROMISES.
