Good place to get a dumpster. I got A few and filled them right up!

The cleanest waste and scrap yard I've been too. The girls in the weight house are super nice and professional. Good prices very competitive with other local scrap yards.

It was awesome before they sold the business. They no longer accept waste like they used to (they only accept bagged waste which they charge by the bag for) and they will pay for scrap metal that's about it. If you have to get rid of a couch, or table and chairs dressers, or other large items that aren't metal then it can't be done here. What's worse is the company they sold to has a huge minimum dollar amount and requires safety gear like hard hats and orange safety vests. It's a shame because this was the best place in Georgia in my opinion. You couldn't beat it before they sold out.

I bring scrap here all the time and everyone is always very nice And helpful. Hate that they don't do trash service anymore but oh well.

Have dropped off trash several times and always easy and quick. We just rented a dumpster and delivery/pickup was flawless. Very accommodating and pleasant to deal with.

They just got bought out, and have to go to another location around the corner from them. There is No signage on the streets for directions and NOW there is a min.$25.00 fee, even if you have household trash bags even if (1or2 bags). NOT RIGHT

Great people to work with. Always a great experience. Usually there 3-4 times a week dropping 5 tons each.

I have rented a dumpster from 400 Waste and Scrap several times. They are always very careful with drop-off and pickup, and the drivers are always courteous, professional and friendly. To schedule a rental, I always speak to Tammy, who is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She was so patient with me when I was a newbie, explaining the options and how the rental works. So easy! I expect to use them again as we complete our renovation project.

This is my third dumpster rental and it couldn't be a smoother process. Great customer service and the drivers are very professional. I look forward to doing more business with Tammy!

It’s very easy to see why this place is so highly rated. It was my first time and they were super patient and helpful. Plus the prices way better than I expected.

I’ve used this place several times in the past year and it’s always been easy to get in and back out. It does look like the changed their hours recently as I usually go on Saturday afternoons and this past Saturday they were closed after 2 pm.

Tammy was a true problem solver helping us tackle our recent renovation project and shuffling around things to make it work for us. Great job

I have called many times to ask questions about scrap metal and Tammy is always so friendly and always has an answer for me.

This was my 5th visit and it has always been super smooth and easy. Wait times are short as most people are pretty quick, but that is never the fault of the dump. Fast, fair and friendly.

I’ve been going there for many years. Went there today and Tammy yelled and talk to me very hateful. Very rude. I will never do business with them again. And after talking to the manager because he heard her and he heard me and he called me out. I got out of the truck and talk to him he was nice and he said he would talk to her. But I don’t think he did. So I’m done with them

400 Waste and Scrap in Dawsonville, Ga. was very helpful in answering many questions I had regarding the disposal of appliances, and other large items. One of their employees, Tammy, was very nice and explained in detail where I needed to back up to have the appliances unloaded. The men that unloaded my vehicle were pleasant and assisted me in backing my vehicle up due to not being able to see out the rear view mirror, they made sure I could see them in my side mirror and guided me where to go. I canceled my home trash pick up company, and find it convenient and economical to drop my household trash there once a week. Thank you for your friendly and helpful service!

There is a MINIMUM $30.00 charge to dump yard clippings. I took about 50 pounds of clippings and still was charged $30.00. Employees were nice but I will take my scrap metal and trash elsewhere.

That was the most appalling phone experience I've ever had will any company. Your website and everything else including your Google listing says you are open on Saturdays for business It also says that you deliver roll-offs. Nowhere on anything does it say you do not deliver roloffs on a Saturday. So when a customer calls and ask to have a roll off delivered on a Saturday and you laugh at them as if they're retarded or incompetent that is the rudest thing you can do Tammy. Yes the person's name who just laughed at me was Tammy. I can't believe that who does that? Extremely insulting will never use this business and would never recommend it to anyone.

This place is the best around, for getting rid of stuff like old electronics, large rear-projection tvs, old bed frames, really just about anything. Rates are very low, and the staff here is super friendly, and explain how it works for first timers. Been back with 4 loads in last 2 weeks. Highly recommend!!!!

I hate it when I have to go to a different scrap yard!!! every time I have been here these guys always give me the best price for what i bring not to mention I am in and out in no time no matter how busy they are!

I am out of state, and I had several loads of scrap that needed to be managed. I contacted Andy Wallace by phone and we quickly established a game plan (this was my first encounter with his company). I found Andy to be very helpful, communicative, and responsive. In the end I felt I was treated fairly, and given all the courtesy you would expect from someone you've done business with for years. I highly recommend 400 Waste & Scrap to anyone looking to convert their metal into cash. Andy was very fair, and I never once questioned his integrity.
