Last time they paid 60 cents a pound for 11 pounds $5.50 this time I got 30cents a pound for cans 18 pounds $5.40 I'm done I told myself that I was helping keep my community clean sorry a waste of time!
The process was quick and easy. There is no one to help you remove the items from you vehicle and you must place them on the scale yourself, so bring help. They don’t pay much, but I didn’t care. My goal was to get the junk out of my home. She gave you a paper check.
This place is a rip off!!! They pay half of the going rate for scrap metal. I pointed out that aluminium can't were going for $.40/p pound to the woman who took and my aluminum and she tried to lie and say prices were down. Liars!!! Don't go here!
Call to see if they knew of anyone that would take old tires, he said no We don’t take them and hung up. That was not my question. They obviously did not have time to talk to me.... very rude
Called ahead to make sure they take refrigerant cans. A man said yes, as long as they had the seal popped. I got there, and then they said they don't take them. Wasted gas and time.
I would not recommend Daybreak Recycling to anyone! I assisted their workers in unload over 226 pounds of aluminum and 253 pounds of scrap metal. Received less than $50.00. After complaining to the owner(Quincy) after I found out the price aluminum was going for (.40 cents), he would not try to make it better. Please find another recycle place that will give you more than .12 cents per pound for aluminum PLEASE!!!
