We had bought a wiper blade at another Advance Auto in a different city that turned out to be defective. Chip was able to find our transaction and exchange it for free. He replaced the old blade and had me ready to go quickly. Super helpful and friendly. Love this particular store!

Highly recommend! Kay went above and beyond for us today. Tested our battery to confirm it was dead and then installed a new one. Check engine light was on and she tested it to let me know what the problem is and gave a recommendation for an honest mechanic to do the service. She was super friendly and provided excellent service. Thank you Kay!

Rex is awesome! Highly recommend using this store, he’s extremely knowledgeable and helped me make sure I got the right part for my vehicle when I thought it was a totally different problem.

My husband and I had the pleasure to meet Rex today. We are blessed to have gotten the chance to speak to him. He was very informative and genuine as he could be. He was able to help us figure out what was wrong with our vehicle and took our worries away with his truthfulness. Thank you again Rex!

I have a Jeep Wrangler with a main and auxiliary battery. I’m trying to get into the dealership for the auxiliary as it is hard to replace. I went into the store to ask about getting the main battery now, but mentioned that I had to wait 3 weeks for my dealership appointment on the auxiliary. James was really helpful and very honest and told me that he couldn’t in good conscience sell me the main battery this far out from getting a new auxiliary battery as the old auxiliary could harm the new main battery. I really appreciated his honesty and that’s why I’m giving 5 stars without even making a purchase!

Never had a problem with parts till today I get a oil change ready oil and filter. Well the filter is completely wrong and they say noting can be done so I spent my money on a filter your web page is saying it's right i call and explain this and yall still saying it's the right filter well here's photos explain to me how they are the same. Noting a like waisted money. The wrong filter is on the left the right one is on the right

They do they're best, they're always eager to assist. I've ordered several parts recommended by the staff and their computer, to only find out the part was completely wrong when delivered. Way more helpful than O'Reilly's across the street. 3 Stars for being great people!

First class service. My brother in laws battery died. Took him there and got him taken care of in no time. Harvey tested battery and replaced it. Such a great experience. I love our local auto parts store. Will be back and recommend it to others in Freeport for whatever auto parts you need. They have diehard batteries—the best!

Seriously I usually go to one of the other stores because I come from somewhere where advance Auto parts really just don't cut it ? I will say this is the best experience I've ever had an advance Auto parts it's a little far away but it's definitely better than the other ones I've ever been to. If you're at seaside this is your place ? they changed my battery I had a little bit of issues I had a little bit of issues they actually comped me the parts for the extra issues... Tonight at 8:50pm I pulled into advanced auto parts in defuniak springs florida to get a low beam headlight for my car before I get pulled over for it being out. The doors were locked and the sales associate told me they were closed. I said "you have 10 minutes" he said "the manager already shut everything down" I said "go get the manager"! The manager came out from the back and waved me away saying" we're closed" I said "you have 10 more minutes I just need a headlight." He refused to even walk to the door to talk to me. I told him "I'm going to call corporate he said "I don't care call them." As he walked away. I then went to auto zone pulled in at 9:02pm he unlocked the door as I walked up he said "we are closing" I said "I just need a headlight" he said "come on I can do that fast". I've never been so disappointed by advanced auto parts I will definitely be taking my business to auto zone for now on.

Came in with a corroded battery, the store manager Harvey was friendly and an expert car guy. Tried every angle to save me money and meticulously replaced the battery with more care than I would have received at my Lexus dealership. Can’t recommend enough!

Very helpful and patient staff. They gave me honest and helpful recommendations and installed a new battery and windshield wiper blades for me. Overall great customer service.

When a dead battery threatened to upend plans for a trip, after getting a jump start, I drove over to Advance Auto to get a new one. Chip was awesome. He removed the corroded old battery, was meticulous about cleaning up the terminal leads and installing a new one. All done close to the time of the shop closing. Thanks Chip for stellar service!

My fiancé and I had a blown tire right down the street and thankfully they were open! We were able to drive to Advance Auto and Chip was super nice and gave us his tire iron and jack and helped us out. He talked to us the entire time and was very understanding. Chip had amazing customer service and we are incredibly thankful.

Terrific employees, very knowledgeable. It's no wonder the store is so busy. I called ahead made sure they had the piece I needed. Picked it up the guy told me how to install it and some tricks of the trade, everything went very smoothly. Thank you to advance Auto parts and your staff.

Chip was absolutely amazing today. We ordered the part that we knew was bad, but it didn't fix the existing problem, only the original problem. Took it to Advance to get the computer hooked up to it...and with Chip's help and expertise, we were able to finally fix the problem. Great store associate...two thumbs up.

I’ve never been one to favor one auto store over another. That is, until coming here. From the first time coming, Harvey has gone out of his way to help me as thoroughly as he can. Walking me through the store, suggesting products, even allowing me in to use the oil dump station a few minutes before opening. He has truly gone above and beyond, and as long as he works here, I plan to be a patron. I truly hope someone high up reads this review and recognizes Harvey as an outstanding employee. Both he and Chip make my visits into an experience rather than just an exchange. I cannot recommend enough that people come here for their auto needs!

Saturday my van would not turn over. We were able to jump it off and we headed to Advance Auto in Freeport for a diagnostic test. Harvey and Jose were working. They are both extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Harvey explained to us that our battery needed to be replaced. He helped us pick one out and changed it for us. He was great with my boys who were upset their beach day had been spoiled. We will definitely be back. Best employees.

I cannot thank Harvey enough for his kindness & help when my husband & I wound up with 2 dead car batteries on the same night right as they were closing. He went above & beyond to help us & we appreciate it so much!

I am the Scout Master of Troop 777 in Freeport Florida. Me and my scouts had a Car Wash last weekend at the Advance Auto in Freeport and I have never had help or service like this before! Chip Blankenship was Great! He sponsored us on the Buckets, Sponges, and Car Wash Soap that we needed to do a great job with our Car Wash! Even though the store was busy he took AWESOME CARE of me, my leaders and my scouts to make sure that we had everything. He kept checking on us to make sure everything was going great, and it was. Thank you Chip Blankenship and staff for for everything and our scouts had a great Car Wash and raised a lot of money for our next Scouting Venture!

Great customer service! An associate spent several minutes with me discussing windshield wiper blades, even installing a couple until we found the best one for my vehicle. All in the sprinkling rain! I really appreciated him taking those extra steps with me.

Visiting some friends from out of town and needed an engine light checked. The code wasn’t a surprise. Multiple cylinder misfire. I knew the car was overdue for spark plugs. They quickly found me the AC Delco plugs and sold me the thread locker and grease for the could boot. I kindly asked if there was anyway I could change them in the parking lot and they were quick to offer me their tools. Got the job done and they were nice and not annoyed that I had their tools for an hour. Special thanks to Ernie! Keep doing what y’all are doing

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff; had what I needed in stock; decent prices; male / female restrooms and ample parking. I will be checking with them again first when I need my next car related part(s). Happy customer.
