Curry Truck Repair Center in Venice, Florida is completely untrustworthy. They quoted me $180-something/hour over the phone and asked if I had my own parts. I said yes, and they told me to come in. When I arrived, they suddenly changed the rate to $200/hour because I brought my own parts — even though they knew from the start what the situation was. They quoted me five hours of labor, which I accepted despite my concern about one job that might take two hours to remove brackets from the frame — a task that ended up being a 10-minute job. I had already told them four bolts needed to be heated because they were seized, and they gave me a price, which I signed and almost paid before leaving, telling them I’d be back in a few hours to pick up the truck. That’s when the games started. Just 30 minutes after I left, Luigi, the guy in charge, called to say the one part had taken longer than expected, inflating the price from $1,000 to $2,280 and the labor from 5 hours to 11 hours. I told them I did not agree and would come pick up the truck. On the way there, they called again asking what to do with the truck “half apart in pieces.” When I arrived, half the truck was already done in just two hours, yet they tried to charge me for all of it. Luigi admitted they had only worked on one part for 30–40 minutes, but they continued without my consent, hoping I would pay the inflated price. They also lied about other labor, claiming “harder than expected” jobs and trying to justify charging double for simple tasks, like the 10-minute job billed as two hours. My freshly painted lug nuts prove that none of the wheels were removed, so none of the extra work they claimed, like removing wheels, was actually done. This shop pressures, manipulates, and lies to customers to extract more money, changes prices after agreements, and takes advantage of your trust and time. Stay far away from Curry Truck Repair Center — especially Luigi — they will lie, overcharge, and manipulate you at every turn.
Had them install some tires on rims for my gooseneck trailer, being 14 ply tires they had no problem getting them done quickly. Very professional and friendly, will certainly use them again!

In the past I have always dreaded calling to schedule an oil change with a dealership because I know it’s going to be “a thing”! But with Curry Truck & Auto Repair it’s so easy and stress free my vehicle is actually getting oil changes when it’s supposed to. The office staff and technicians are fantastic. Thank you!!
Curry Truck Repair is the best. Matt helped me out big-time in a pinch when I needed a DOT inspection done on one of my vehicles and they came through for me. I will be doing more business here for sure. I cannot stress enough how pleased I am with my service here. 6/5 stars if I could!

Truly recommend! I was in desperate need of a diagnosis of my rv’s Onan generator as it was hard to start and turning off after minutes. The RV was rented out to guests in the area and after calling I don’t know how many places, Luigi took my call with a will to help me! They got me in right away. The fuel pump they ordered was delivered to them within 30 minutes. The quoted price was exactly what I paid. Generator is running like a gem. Overall, a great experience.
I had great experience at curry the staffs were very friendly and understanding. They explained everything that they were doing to my car and the price for the repair was excellent I would gladly recommend Curry to my friends and family.
Curry Auto always takes care of me and my big green bus. Purchased to become a mobile store, there were many things we did not know about our bus when my husband and I bought it. Curry has been there every step of the way. Now that my husband has passed, I take care of the bus myself, and these people have helped me so much, and not ever gouged me or convinced me of unnecessary repairs. I am super grateful to have them in the area. Always get the job done and educate me too. And they’re just nice people. Hope to be a customer for many busses to come!
Luigi was great. He understood my problem right away, worked with me to get it fixed. He even took the time to check with a couple techs about some other issues I had. I will only take my truck here from now on.
Got a nail in my tire, only place nearby so I figured support local... well needless to say when I realized the price was going to be $106 dollars to patch the tire, I advised them to just put air in it. However i was told the tire was already off the rim that I was to late I was gonna have them put air in it and go else where due to the price. I have a patch on same tire that cost me $20 dollars and is holding perfectly fine from previous nail.. so i inquired as to why so much just for a patch and was told it is because of my tire size which is 225 65 17. Normal size from dealership nothing big or wide or special. But ok no problem, I was told it would be 15 mins from the time I was told it was taken off the rim. Needless to say I was there for over 45 mins after that... nice people, nice place but pricing seems steep for a tire patch. Next time I will drive the extra 10 or 15 mins further...
Only People I Trust to work on my Vehicles! Luigi is super helpful getting me on the schedule always in a timely manner. And all the technicians are over qualified always letting me know what my trucks may or may not need. And Sam is a very personable & trustworthy person! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a honest & highly qualified repair shop!
I drive a shuttle bus conversion (RV) and travel with my three dogs so safety is everything to me. I was first referred (by one of the 4 tire companies I visited) to Curry Automotive after the guys at Valvoline were unable to check the air in the inner rear tires. I drove to Venice and Billy Pratt said 'we'll get you in, call Monday' and we made an appointment for Tues 10am. Well the Google lady directed me to their S Tamiammi Trail shop! So Colton (super nice and jumped right in) filled the air up in both but took the time to point out the 'dry rot' in this one tire. He said that they had a tire/truck shop and recommended a visit there. He wasn't pushy or fear mongering, but I could tell he was sincerely concerned about that one tire. I then drove out to their third location and the guys there were extremely helpful, I neglected to get their names, sorry guys, but got the tire ordered and came back next day and within 20 minutes was on the road again. Very professional, efficient and personable! Highly recommend ALL 3 shops! Thanks guys, I'll see you in December for replacement of the other tires! (They still were in decent shape!)

Dropped off a vehicle that needed an oil change at 3:15pm and she told me it would be done at 5pm.
I came back and the car was still in the same place. I asked her why it hasn’t been serviced and she simply said sorry it must’ve fell thru the cracks with communication!!
I hope the Owner fires her because she surely doesn’t know how to run the operation with a simple matter of getting her techs to service the vehicle!!!

After years at 2 dealerships GUESSING what was wrong with my cruze diesel, and never fixing the one code kicking the engine light on, Curry diesel mechanics drove the car, diagnosed it accurately and fixed the issue and now my baby (car) that I love, runs like new. They go over the vehicle and alert to upcoming issues with brakes, ac and a multitude of car issues also in writing. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to finally have my car back and it be dependable to be able to transport my elderly/ disabled clients around town with no worries my car will go into limp mode again. It's so stressful for almost 3 years and dealerships do not care about customer service anymore. This place has a level of service unmatched by anyone I have found. From the technical desk I was given easy to understand technical education, along with fair pricing for a bundle of services. The owner took a personal interest in my truck, helping me to understand the value of services I needed and how to evaluate future services based on 17,000 lb Fifth wheel RV towing application of the truck, 2015 F350 6.7L Diesel Dually. I trust this group, they care, I will give them my future business!!
A close friend recommended Curry since he owns a fleet of trucks and uses them all the time. At our first appointment they did a detailed diagnostic and identified a couple of areas that required work. First up, the water pump & hoses. Although the job took about a day and a half it was more than worth it. The quality of the work was immediately evident. Our vehicle is performing flawlessly!. We also want to thank Jeff for providing us with transport to and from our home saving us the hassle of renting a vehicle. Once again, we highly recommend Curry’s. You can drive with confidence after they work on your vehicle!
