Great, friendly, very helpful team in my Venice Fl store

I had to get a jump to drive over to Advance Auto Parts to get a new battery for my 2020 RAV 4. When I got there I was pleased to hear they had the battery I needed. But then she told me my car needs a special tool to install the battery which they don’t have . I asked how is that possible, never heard of such a thing. Luckily I left my car running and went across the street to another auto part store. They laughed and told me to turn my car off . The only tool needed was his hands .

I always order on line and choose pickup at store. This not only assures when I will receive my items, it also let's me double check that I didn't forget anything to complete the job. I have my PayPal account set-up for payment and it makes for a secure easy transaction. The very friendly customer service is very helpful in making sure I have everything I need and even offers to carry heavy items to your vehicle. If you want delivery they offer same day as long as you order before store closing hours.

terrible customer service. they'll put you on hold purposefully if they don't like your question, and won't answer the phone after you try to call back. thankfully there's O'Reilly just a few blocks south, and they deliver customer service.

Horrible customer service at this location. To begin with they close 3 hrs earlier than what is posted on the Google page. So instead of getting my battery replaced under warranty I had to go up the road to Valvoline and buy a brand new battery. When I was able to get into this location to get my warranty battery, I was told by the "manager" Luther H that my phone number didnt pull up my information. He then said to me that "for all he knows I could have found the battery on the side of the road". He told me that I needed to call the store where I bought the battery and get a transaction number from them, because it "wasn't his problem". After I finally remembered where I bought the battery over a year ago and got the information for the warranty from them myself I gave it to this rude employee Luther and he gave me my replacement battery. Not a single im sorry or any apologies for his horrible attitude. Beware your warranty on items is only good for the same store you bought it from unless you can provide the transaction number yourself. I will never return to this location as long as this person works there. Spend $230 on a battery here and get treated like trash from the employee.

I had been shopping nearby. And WoW! It was 10 minutes 'til the store closed and I had a headlight out. As you can imagine, I was relieved just to "still make" such an important purchase, especially under the circumstances. When the same employee [name tagged Rob] cheerfully asked if I'd like him to Install it for me too, I was totally blown away. Rob, your customer service Exceeded my expectations! Your insistence that I should EXPECT to receive this same kind of service from anyone else working at Advance Auto Parts demonstrated a belief in others that few can state so confidently. I'm 64. I want to do business with a company who hires people like Rob. Why? Because if you want me to come back, you have to provide me with more than lip service & empty promises. I highly recommend this store. They have Fair Prices, Excellent Choices & Outstanding Customer Service!

The manger was very rude got mad cause I was coming at close I will be calling corporate I had a very bad experience I’ve never had this bad of an experience they need to get an new manger. Very disrespectful o’Reilly sent me very good and gave me a cheaper price and was very nice and ended up putting my head light in .

I stood there for no less the 10 minutes waiting to be helped. The two staff members never acknowledged my existence. As I was leaving after NOT being helped even when there wasn't another customer in the building, one lady finally asked if I needed anything. I told her no, I'll take my business elsewhere.

Unlike Michele below I didn't have the best of service. I'd rather advanced auto any day. They always go the extra mile and help. Very informative and very helpful!

Store is alwasy clean and the staff is alwasy willing to look things up for you and help you get what you need

I’d give zero stars if I could. I went in around 5:15 tonight and was told they would come out and check my battery but wouldn’t change it cause it’ll be dark in an hour. They are open til nine not like I came right at closing. I think they just don’t want to work.

Went there today to get a new battery, let me tell you, BEST service ever!! Luther the manager is Amazing 👏 Pat was also awesome, a 3rd employee was also awesome (didn't catch his name). Came down to Florida from PA on a road trip and my car broke down the whole team was such an amazing help with getting the parts and testing my battery, alternator, and my starter on my car. They were a huge help!

In Venice there are three auto parts stores within two blocks of each other. I choose AAP because they always have what I need, they are extremely helpful and positive. Never had a bad experience in all the times I've been there.

Great service. I was asked as soon as I walked in if I needed help. Luther recommended and installed my new windshield wipers in the rain after I purchased them. I'm so glad I stopped in. Very friendly associates, and the store was clean.

Advance Auto parts is by far the best auto parts store in Venice not because of selection so much but because of the staff they are so helpful beyond expectation to the point where you leave having a really good experience there and you wouldn't ever expected at auto parts store kudos to the staff there all you guys are awesome

Needed a new battery...and windshield wipers. The young man in thestore asked if I could wait .10 minutes until his fellow employee came in.I did and 20 minutes later I was all set with new wiper blades and a new battery which he installed for me. Very nice,polite employees in this store. The young man who helped me that day was Nate who was very friendly and capable.

Always a pleasure browsing the store. The employees are great, I love to hear the banter between them. They welcome you in and are quick to help you if needed.

When I went to Advanced Auto Parts Store it was 10 minutes before they were to open but the opened the store early to help me I didn't realize it was too early but it didn't matter because they opened for me so that tells me that they are there to help their customers that means a lot because time is important to most of us.

The best sales and service team one could only hope for. So many times we have gone to this store for parts, advice, or small installs (lights and batteries). Our recent visit was a panicked battery replacement during the final moments before closing. Couldn't get anything right. Jim and Jason, both cool-headed and kind, handled our online purchase error and installed a new battery with a wonderful professionalism and humanity. As always, we continue to sing the praise for our hometown Advance Auto Parts store!

They have helpful service to try and find the parts you need. Even if they didn't have what I wanted, they were able to point me in the right direction.
