What clients say about Treasure Island Community Center Park in Treasure Island (FL)
-
Treasure Island Community Center Park in Florida is a lovely open green space with playgrounds, pavilions, and trails—great for families year-round—but it’s not a major Christmas lights destination. No big tree lighting or elaborate decorations here during the holidays. The park hosts occasional community events, like charity pancake breakfasts in early December, and it’s near the popular Friday Morning Market (running December-April). For real holiday magic in Treasure Island, catch the Holiday Lighted Boat Parade (Dec 20, 2025)—dozens of twinkling boats on Boca Ciega Bay, viewable from the Causeway Bridge or John’s Pass (no official park watch party this year due to construction). Relaxing spot for a casual holiday stroll, but head to the waterways for the festive wow factor. 5/5!

Tom A. was so extremely helpful on my big day. He was constantly available when we needed anything. He was willing to help move table and chairs when the assistance was needed.

Be careful about the private parking meters. Paid at meter but still got a ticket. The credit card was also charged. A surrounding restaurant worker said this happens all the time! $26 parking for 3 hours plus a $63 ticket! We had to go to the police and call to get the ticket to $0. What a hassle!

I am extremely upset with the professionalism of this place. I am planning my fiancée and I's wedding. This will be a destination wedding so we are from out of state. Being the planner that I am, I contacted the Treasure Island Community Center to see their facilities for our possible wedding venue. I spoke to the head person, at least a month ago to inform her that we would like to view their property. I called multiple times throughout the month to insure that we would be making the best decision. Two weeks prior to us coming, I contacted the events coordinator again..even though she seemed irritated with my call. Coming the week off, I contacted this venue and ensured our visit to this venue. Remember, we are not from Treasure Island and we only had this one weekend to view this facility and had a very strict itinerary. We drove all night before in order to make our first scheduled appointment at 10 AM. The day off, I called this place personally multiple times. No response. I then emailed the coordinator. NO RESPONSE. Remember, we drove from a whole different state and arranged our schedule to come see this venue. No one responded to me. We decided to go ahead and view the facility by looking through windows. Honestly, the pictures were a glorified viewing of what it actually was. We did see some form of elements from the pictures, but the place in general just looked run own and unkept, which was not in their pictures. It even had a smell--from the OUTSIDE. Not the beach, sea smell, but a moldy not good smell. I can only image what it smelled like inside..To top it off, there were no real parking spaces, so we parked across the street in the parking lot. There was a payment system, which we used and the parking was $8 for one hour. A bit much but we had a planned showing (or so we thought) so we bit the bullet and paid it. When we came back to our car after walking to see another venue (which was trash as well), we came back to a ticket on our car. Just icing on the cake to a terrible experience! I know the ticket is not the TICC's problem per se, but the fact that this was the only parking around the facility and we did not get to view anything even though we had it planned. How are you a community center with terrible parking?? You are a COMMUNITY CENTER, for the public! Long story short, I am SO glad my fiancée, wedding planner, parents, and I had other venues blocked out to look at. This place is extremely unprofessional and to top it off, it looked terrible. It is already so much into wedding planning and we were truly excited to see this venue and to start our wedding planning trip/short vacation. This experience was such a downer to start our wedding planning weekend with and adding unnecessary stress to us. I am so glad I had the oppurtunity to see this venue in person because would have been a very IRATE and sad bride if I would have just trusted the process and waited for our wedding day to see the facility, like most destination wedding brides do.. Plus of course driving 8+ hours to see a venue and literally no one as there to escort us, as we had exclusively and thoroughly planned weeks prior. I am usually the one not to leave reviews like this one, but people need to know about businesses like this that have ZERO professionalism. DO BETTER!!

This is a great family style bingo. Friendly people, fun bingo with great volunteers who really make you feel welcome. It is run by a nonprofit organization - the Treasure Islettes- and the proceeds are donated to a scholarship fund for college students. Free coffee and tea and delicious desserts and sodas for sale. A great place to meet friends and have an enjoyable Thursday evening. Free parking and first game begins at 6:30 at the Treasure Island Community Center behind Walgreen's in Treasure Island. .

We like to live like the locals sometimes when we travel. We went here to see a community band (excellent!), returned the next night for bingo, and went back the next day for a farmer's market. Lovely asset to the community and something interesting to do on dark winter nights.

I'm always one to obviously prefer a private beach trip over a public one, but for a public area I was incredibly surprised with the experience! The beach was clean and spacious despite it being incredibly busy the particular days I've went. Easy access and thankfully free entry, though parking is a bit hellish. The wife and I had a wonderful time ~

We play in a community band and have once a month band concerts in their beautiful facility. It has a huge room where this is held. Also seem to be lots of regular activities for residents.

My first time here and was for a meeting. They brought a salad with chicken, spinach, cranberries, blue cheese crumbles, and a very very thick dressing on your salad. No one asked if any one was allergic or cared unless you was vegetarian. The chicken was dry and the dressing was like gravy and sour. I could not eat anything under and had to pick at chicken as blue cheese breaks me out in hives and cranberries causes me to puke. The place was beautiful and had a nice fragrance.

Went to a Friday Market there, the grounds are clean and restrooms easily accessible. If you have a chance to stop by on Friday the little outdoor market is worth a stop, lots of different venders something for everyone.

They hold good events, and the place is usually clean and well kept. It's a community center so there's not much you can expect from it glamor wise. Contact the city to get pricing and availability for renting it out. Great location, and plenty of paid parking (they may include parking for events)

This is a terrific, well-maintained facility for the residents of Treasure Island. A huge thank you to the Treasure Islettes for the donation of the beautiful and comfortable upholstered fabric banquet chairs (I love the built-in lumbar support).
