Bill Tysons is an honorable and competent shop. I thought my brakes needed new pads or something. They took off wheels, inspected, found nothing wrong. They picked up and delivered the car back to me at no charge. Wow

Mike and his team were extremely professional and an overwhelming lifesavers during our situation. Mike took the time to diagnose every possible issue and clearly explained the potential outcomes, which gave us a lot of confidence in the process. Trust is everything today. So many shops rarely meet expectations or do everything they say they will. The folks at Bill Tyson in Wellington DO! They went above and beyond, communicated well about the problem, explained the issues and costs, and resolved my problem (transmission) much more rapidly than expected. I did the service of my VW Jetta 2016 98k miles. They did a change oil and air filter and charge me $242.35 just of that. I asked did you change the other filters or what else you did? They told me not just air filter and oil change. I didn’t waste my time having an argue. I just know I never will come back. The average price for an oil change and filters nation wide in us for a vw Jetta 1.4tsi engine is between $112 and $145 the most expensive. So this is insane expensive with no reason.

I went to the dealership and was told I needed new brakes etc and came to Bill Tyson's for a second opinion. They informed me that it was unnecessary after a thorough inspection and test drive. They are an honest establishment with quick service and excellent communication!! I would recommend to anyone needing repairs especially if you don't want the hassle of a dealership. prices are fair and team is very nice especially Mr. Mike Noon

We brought our 2018 Tahoe in for transmission work, and the team at Bill Tyson’s quickly diagnosed the problem, provided a clear written estimate, and explained exactly what needed to be done. After doing a little research, I found their quote to be extremely fair, so we went ahead with the repair. A few weeks later, we experienced an unrelated electrical issue. Since it seemed minor and the factory dealer in West Palm was closer, we took the vehicle there. Unfortunately, the dealer recommended a long list of expensive repairs that didn’t solve the problem. The Tahoe continued to drive unsafely, and we were honestly scared to be on the road with it. At that point, we returned to Bill Tyson’s in Wellington and worked directly with Mike Noon, one of the managers. Mike took complete control of the situation. He and his team broke the vehicle down and traced the problem wire by wire until they found the root cause—a faulty connection that had nothing to do with the original transmission work. Even though the issue wasn’t related, Mike stood by the warranty and made sure it was taken care of at no extra cost. Mike Noon and the entire team at Bill Tyson’s Auto Repair are outstanding—professional, honest, highly skilled, and fairly priced. You really can’t ask for more from an auto repair shop. I highly recommend Bill Tyson’s Auto Repair locations throughout South Florida, and if you’re in Wellington, be sure to ask for Mike Noon—he’s the best!

So appreciative of them! They pick up and drop off which was great because my car didn’t even start haha and had about a million things wrong with it, but they fixed it all were so honest and communicative and so so so reasonable ! Very thankful and will tell absolutely everyone to contact them when needed!

Second time I have used Tyson Auto Repair and once again exceeded my expectations. Fixed my problem quickly and efficiently. I will use them again when the need arises and recommend them to anyone who wants excellent work done.

I would like to personally endorse Mike Noon. I have a 2018 Chevy Tahoe LT that was literally turning on and off while driving on I-95 at full speed. Which is clearly a very serious issue. I initially brought my Tahoe to Mike Maroone's Chevy dealership in West Palm Beach. All they did was charge me a diagnosis fee of $250, only to not find what the issue was, and then try to charge me another additonal $500 (FIVE - HUNDRED USD $) for MORE diagnosis time with NO guarantee they would even be able to find the issue this time around. I told them to kick rocks and brought it to Bill Tysons, who replaced my transmission awhile back, specifically leaving it with Mike Noon, who I believe is the service manager. Mike was able to efficiently and effectively search the whole vehicle, personally taking the time to drive it around until he found what was wrong- which was just a very small disconnect between two electrical components. His attention to detail revealed just how incompetent and sleezy the guys at Mike Maroone are, and potentially saved my life by fixing this vehicle that Maroone had told me was "safe to drive" as they found "nothing wrong". As a lifelong Chevy Tahoe/Suburban driver, my advice is simple. Steer clear of the sleezeballs at the dealership and take your vehicle to Bill Tysons! We took our Audi A4 to Bill Tyson Auto Repair in early November to have the air conditioning fixed, as it was not blowing cold air. Given their strong reputation and positive reviews in our area, we trusted them with the repair. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. Upon picking up the vehicle by tow truck, they called to inform us of a crack in the windshield. Assuming it was a small, previously unnoticed crack due to their work on the dashboard, we didn’t question it. However, when the car was returned a week later, there was a huge crack across the windshield—something that was absolutely not there before. Additionally, the dashboard was reassembled poorly, with pieces misaligned, broken, and the screen scratched. When we reached out to discuss these issues, Bill Tyson Auto Repair referred us to a separate company to replace the windshield on our own. We insisted they check their intake photos and security cameras to confirm the windshield’s condition prior to service and demanded that they correct their sloppy interior reassembly. After some back and forth, they agreed to repair the windshield and fix their mistakes. Several weeks later, they called, demanding we bring the car in with little notice, despite never informing us in advance. As a parent with a toddler and a husband at work, we couldn’t drop everything to accommodate their poor scheduling. They were frustrated, even though the miscommunication was their fault. After yet another reschedule, they finally fixed the windshield, but the interior was still not fully repaired, and the screen now had a second scratch. At this point, we told them we would take the car elsewhere for proper repairs and bill them for the costs. They pleaded for one more chance, promising to order a new screen and left panel. A month later, we had to follow up on our own, only to find out that the parts had already arrived—but they had forgotten who they ordered them for. If we hadn’t checked in, who knows if our car would have ever been fully repaired. Months later, after multiple weeks in their shop, the car was finally fixed. They did apologize, but there was no offer of a discount for the massive inconvenience. They didn’t seem to care about the major disruption due to their poor work, lack of attention to detail, and failure to have a manager properly review the car before sending it back to us had caused. We chose Bill Tyson Auto Repair based on their strong reputation, but our experience was frustrating and disappointing. While they eventually made things right, the stress, delays, and lack of professionalism made this an experience I would not recommend to others.

I will absolutely not step foot near this place again, and neither should you if you have used them or are thinking of using them. I brought my car in for leaking coolant. I was told it was the water pump that needed to be replaced, but given the age of the car and the work to be done they advised to also change out the belts, the crossover pipes and all associated parts, tubes, and clips. A few days later it was leaking again. I was told by them that it could be air inside the coolant system, just need to top it off. I did that, but the car was still leaking a lot of coolant. At this point, I decided to get a second opinion as this all did not seem right to me. I took it to the dealership and they confirmed that the crossover pipes were never replaced, never touched, never looked at. In addition, they said they would not have recommended replacing anything else that was not associated with removing and replacing the crossover pipes. So I wonder what Bill Tyson's would have told me if I brought the car back to them...a new radiator??! The bill for all that work by Bill Tyson's was over $4700. I called again to speak with the owner, and conveniently, Bill is on vacation for the week. I still have not gotten a phone call from the owner, only a reply to my review. My reply below... To your reply: You did not replace the coolant pipes/ the crossover pipes. I have proof. I have the old parts in a box in my garage that were just replaced when I received a second opinion and I have pictures showing that the bolt was never removed to gain access to the crossover pipes, not to mention front crossover pipes are now manufactured with a different shape than what was installed originally. So you couldn't have possibly replace them. Take a look at the pictures, these are the original pipes that you claim you replaced, and they are dated when the car was manufactured and they look completely dirty with clear signs of years of use, definitely not a few days old. When something does not seem right, you go for a second opinion. Anyone in my position would be weary of going back in this situation.

I used Bill's service for our Porsche for the first time and I'm really impressed! At Bill's, the customer doesn't pay for some glass entrance halls and showrooms, but receives honest and competent workshop services, just as it should be. They don't just replace parts, they actually repair your car and know exactly what they are doing. As an extra bonus, they even pick up your car and deliver it back to your home, free of charge. I will also bring our other cars to Bill in the future ??

I discovered Bill Tyson's shop about two years ago and considered taking my older car there. Although I didn't back then, when a family member's car needed repairs, I immediately thought of Bill Tyson's. I'm incredibly grateful I did. They took exceptional care of the car, demonstrating professionalism and patience with all my questions. Their services were very affordable. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone and have found my future mechanic for life. Uncle Mike truly is the best, and I extend my gratitude to his amazing team as well. They are truly a remarkable group.

I brought my 2006 Toyota Corolla to the Wellington location and the mechanics were honest and helped with addressing the issues. The owner and mechanics were great, I'll be returning for maintenance, as well as bringing in our other vehicle for repairs. TY!

Recommend avoiding this place for any major mechanical work, especially transmission work. Brought my Volvo here a while back for a transmission rebuild and paid about ~5k all in. I had the transmission rebuilt a total of 4 times with Bill Tyson’s, I chose them specifically because they offered a warranty on their work, but after the 4th time and over 6 months of having the car collectively it’s worth your time and money to go somewhere that will get it right the first time. Decided after the 4th time I wouldn’t go back and I’d run the car until it quit, which it did less than 10k miles after the last rebuild. Ended up stranded on the side of the road less than a year later. TLDR: Can’t speak for basic maintenance, but if you’re looking to have major work done, I’d recommend bringing your business elsewhere.
