Jimmy came and gave me a jump after my car didn’t start. Wasn’t sure if the battery needed replacing or not, but he stayed and called a few places with trustworthy mechanics and found one willing to test my battery for free later that day. Really helpful and nice that he stayed with me for 15-20 min after the jump to help me out. Would recommend to anyone needing a jump/tow in the Ft. Walton area

HONEST and RELIABLE service!!! Jimmy is very nice and professional. Showed up on time and the cost was less than I expected. Please do not be fooled by other companies asking you to pay (Venmo) prior to service. Trust your local man that has been in business for 30 YEARS!!!

During a very bad, HOT day (101 degrees) broken down 1/2 a mile from my house, David from Jimmy Nichols Towing came to my rescue! Their price was $30 cheaper than the previous place I called, he was there in less than 30 minutes, took good care not to damage my car, David was super nice and we actually had good conversation while taking care of my car problem making me laugh and lightening my bad mood. So, GREAT SERVICE and GREAT PRICE!! I wouldn't call ANYONE else if I ever need a tow again!

Jimmy was awesome to deal with! He towed my 4500 chevy bus for me and made sure to take care of it like it was his! Highly recommend if you need to be towed.

Was having a hard day when my car died in a parking lot. I called and within 15min someone was on the way. The driver, David, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He cracked some jokes and made my day!! 100% would recommend and use this company again specifically because of him.

On 6/1/ 24 a terrific storm saturated 3 counties of the panhandle area. I had to drive to work an so many streets were flooded causing so many issues for motorists. I was on final street near my job when I approached a flooded area, I drove very slow thru intersection, when on coming car came thru very fast and covered my car with water. My car totally died. Called 5 tow service b4 connecting with Nichols, the driver was professional but the woman answering the call was a jerk, blasting me because I drive into water. Do not recommend they.

Called to get a car towed and the lady that answered the phone was so rude !!! She was more worried about my mispronunciation of some words than to actually get the information for the vehicle to be towed. From the start the attitude was not good for customer service. I understand some people have bad days but if you works as customer service you shouldn’t let all that out on your customers !!! Very unprofessional lady at front desk. Didn’t let me speak at all spoke over me all times and was extremely Rude ! So sad that this one thing will lose customers for some rude person working there. You should look into hiring a new and more friendly front desk assistance. Hope she sees this and takes it into consideration to be more patient and friendly with customers. God Bless Ps… the words she was correcting me on was definitely not the street but other words. She says she needs the info and I was giving her the information but like I said she was more concerned about other things. And one of the most important things is I won’t waste my time writing a review just to Lie Maam !! I left it because thats how you treated me very poorly and not friendly at all ! Everything your were worried about was anything but the info you needed for your job. Constructive criticism is also good just accept it and try to actually put it to work !

Anthony P. helped me out with a very hard towing service due to the angle and position of the vehicle. But he effortlessly took care of the job, using all the tricks he's picked up over his 7yr experience. Very personable, and easy to talk to and engage transactionally. Would absolutely do business with him again, and wished there were more of them like him. Give this man a promotion!!!

Family owned and operated. Service sent tow truck out promptly, within 15 minutes! Anthony was professional and friendly, had me at L&L Auto for service within the hour! Very pleased!!!

I see why they have a 4.5, quality service, good attitude, and all around respectable company. Absolutely am glad I had their service today to pull me out of the ditch when my car decided it wanted to be the first cadillac ats offroad champion. Unfortunately my car didn't realize its limitation till it was too late, and thankfully these guys where quick to show up and put it back on the pavement where it belongs.

I spoke with the female running the office twice, once in person and once over the phone. I don't understand how a business can stay in business with such a bitter, vile, ugly public "face". Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for help with your vehicle. ETA: Actually you were such a witch to my husband the first visit, he came to get me to handle the transaction. You were so rude on the day I called to have a rollback dispatched, I placed the call on speaker so everyone around could hear. Today (August 30 2023) your husband called and asked about the review. He didn't speak to me. He spoke to my husband and made excuses for you, stating you are a Yankee and that's just how you are. Be better. Do better.

I called and the person answering was immediately rude. Very, very unprofessional. Mind-blowingly so. And she wouldn't stop. She was still vomiting rudeness as I hung up, she wouldn't let me off the phone in a cordial manner. I would expect a small business to understand customer service is vital to their success. I am shocked they are able to sustain a business. ***UPDATE*** I do not have these people confused with anyone else. These are most certainly the people I spoke with and have a history of poor service per their reviews.

No one likes to get their car towed- it’s not something you look forward to. So, when you’re already not in the best mood it can make it hard to be happy with service. Jimmy Nichols Towing is the exception- they are absolutely wonderful to work with! We had to get a tow for our car that broke down in the evening. We called them and they picked up the phone right away. Because it was after hours, they said it might be better to wait until morning to get a tow. They said it would be more expensive and take longer for an after hours tow. We were concerned about leaving our car overnight. After they talked to us, they reassured us that we had the car in a relatively safe spot to leave overnight and they could come get it first thing in the morning. True to their word, we called them first thing and they towed the car to our house in town for a very reasonable rate. The driver of the tow truck was extremely professional and an amazing driver. We felt like he cared about the car and he was friendly too. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a tow in town.

Awesome experience. Stuck on base after triple a denied service to help me. Jimmy came up, even checked out the problem with my car and mentioned a way that could help fix it to the people at the shop. Great service, definitely will call again if I need help!

Jimmy was so great! I needed my car towed and he arrived quickly (compared to the companies that my insurance set me up with). He was super nice and we were able to get my car to an auto shop in less than an hr! Overall I’m very happy with the service I received. I absolutely recommend Jimmy if you need your car towed!

Wonderful people! I had broken down on the side of the road and they were extremely helpful! Jimmy was insanely busy and somehow they managed to fit me in with just him driving! Everyone else in the area gave me insane wait times. Not to mention they constantly called to ensure I was taken care of! Really made a kept an bad situation as calm as possible. Couldn’t recommend enough!

We was on vacation and our vehicle broke down , I let the mechanic call the tow truck it cost me $180, he didn't do anything so I had to have my vehicle removed and moved to a real mechanic. I called Nichols towing for my 2nd tow, it only cost $75, big difference from the first tow. But anyway they was reliable and friendly the lady on the phone was really helpful of telling me when the driver had picked up my van and when he had dropped it off. She was also just really pleasant to talk too during a really stressful situation. Thank you to the awesome crew at Nichols!

Another towing company made the recommendation due to my situation, Jimmy came out and was able to pull my truck out within an hour. Very fast response and a reasonable rate compared to most towing services in the area. Highly recommend, great customer service!

I called this company and he said he'd be out in 25 minutes. An hour later I called because he didn't show up and he apologized and said he was on his way but that he had a call from the sheriff's department. Okay, I can understand that is more important and takes precedence, but a courtesy call would have been greatly appreciated. He said he was on his way though, so I let it slide and thanked him for letting me know he was coming. 20 more minutes pass and he calls and says he can't come after all. I've now been stranded a total of 2 hours because I can't find a towing company who is free to come get me. This could have been avoided with a simple courtesy call.

Called Jimmy late on a Sunday needing to relocate my Ford F-250 SuperDuty due to a braking issue. Now, this is a pretty big vehicle, but Jimmy knew all the right questions to ask to ensure his truck was compatible FIRST. Jimmy dispatched a truck to my location, scooped up the vehicle, and dropped it at the dealer for me. I waited about 20-25 minutes from when we hung up the phone until the truck arrived, just as promised. The truck operator, Rob, was quick, thorough, safe, courteous, and professional. Grateful to have been your customer, Jimmy. Hope I don't need you again, but I'll know who to call when I do.
