When going, be aware that the business isn’t labeled well. There wasn’t a sign and where the metal was piled up, I thought it was for workers since it was dirt and not paved. I passed it and went to Gelato where the staff directed me.
I have only been to a metal recycling center once about 15 years ago, so I wasn’t sure how it worked. A staff member approached me and wondered how he could help. He explained everything and then showed me where to go.
I don’t have metal to recycle very often, but I will definitely come back when I get some. I loved that everyone is friendly and helpful.
I like going here because the Big iron doesn't show you the scale its been broke for over a year obviously they. Are not completely honest or they would repair it you know they make plenty to fix it
They are the friendliest and nicest people ! I have had negative experiences with two of the other scrap yards and I will not be going back because of the way they made me feel, like I was dumb just because I had never been before and was not aware of the way you are supposed to enter and seemed irritated even that I didn't know what to do! But the staff at Ft Walton Beach Metal Recycling were so very helpful and all had smiling faces and were so kind and welcoming and that was such a relief after the other experiences I had! . So I will be coming back here every time from here on out and will recommend you guys to everyone I know ! Thank you to all of your staff for proving that amazing customer service and friendly people still exist! You might not think a simple smile or the smallest amount of consideration makes that much of a difference but sometimes it makes all the difference in the world to some people who have a difficult time becoming accustomed to new places or experiences myself included! You guys are awesome keep up the great work! ??♥️
We had an excellent experience at Metal Recycling! Dropped off some scrap copper and aluminum, and the process was quick, easy, and super professional. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, making sure we understood everything about the transaction. It’s great to work with a place that’s organized and honest. Highly recommend them if you’re looking to recycle metal—it doesn’t get better than this!
Tyler and Chase were awesome. Checked in and got an empty weight. Backed into dock and loaded within 30 minutes. They gave clear instructions for how the loading process works and they were nothing but friendly.
Love this place. Helpful every time. Very hardworking people there. Very honest too. They had our business for years and I haven't been disappointed even once. Great job guys!
If you're loading up here on a 53-foot truck, this is the ugliest and most inconvenient place to load. The staff is not friendly. I would avoid this load location
These people are not beginner friendly. There is not one place to find directions or instructions on how to proceed through the scrap yard. Also everyone makes you feel like you don't belong there or less than smart if you have to ask questions. Not helpful at all. We will stay at our home scrap yard in Milligan Florida. Side note the lady in the office was helpful..
Been going there for years and couldn’t be happier. Tyler and Chase (and team) are always friendly and helpful. You typically get in and out pretty quickly, and you are compensated fairly depending on going market rates. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend these guys for your recycling needs.
I've been going here for many years. They are helpful with unloading if they are able. They have enough room to unload And park. Much better than the place on Hollywood Blvd in my opinion.
This is a great place to bring your scrap metal! I can honestly say they have great service and great prices this will be my home yard!! Great job guys and lady’s you have got a customer for life.
This is the best scrap yard in at least 100 mile radius. Ive been to all the others around here. And i refuse to go to any other than this one. The guys are always helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. Definitely 5 stars from
I haven't been to very many metal recycling businesses, though out of the 4 I can ever remember going to in my life, this one is the best 1 by a landslide. The staff here seems to be in good spirits usually and are also very helpful. Also the best payout on a regular basis as compared to the other 3 I've experienced. Not to mention, I've been educated more from these guys about recycling than school and the other 3 places combined have taught me, hands down. Thank you to the staff for all the help. What a wonderful scrap yard! Wow! In the five states I’ve attended recycling scrap places. This one takes top favorite one! U guys r great! Very sweet wonderful lady at the desk cyndi! Will be returning! We were offered a helping hand from chase and he directed us what to do and park next time we come thru! Very polite gentleman working there as well! Very quick and friendly! Thank you guys for helping America stay a little more organized as it has to be hard work!!!
I have been selling all my recyclable items and doing business with the owner of this place for well over 25 years! Mitch is the owner along with his wife Lisa and are simply amazing people! Their sons pretty much run it now and have been for several years and are just as nice and honest as their parents! Good honest Christian people! Thanks guys for all you do! Matt
Great for military personnel with DIY moves! State certified scales for moving. The atmosphere and friendly customer service definitely made a great impression!!
