This place is absolutely awesome! They go above and beyond for their customers. 10 out of 10 recommend! Had an emergency issue and the staff didn’t hesitate to stay late and make sure the problem was solved before leaving! Great people

Had unusual need for oil change of rental car. Staff person ant Wheaton’s over phone immediately scheduled within approx. 3 hours. Windy, who processed when I arrived, was polite, funny and courteous. Total efficiency of rental car billing process. Excellent service at Wheaton’s Service!

Have had to stop by Wheaton’s a few times now with car issues while driving through Key Largo. The entire staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. Shout out to Will on my last visit for addressing my BMW oil problem and getting me back on the road in no time.

We needed to have our travel trailer towed from Marathon to Miami. Communication was great and William was professional and nice.

10/10 I would recommended Wheaton's service center and towing.to anyone especially Mr.Conley, he has excellent customer service fast and reliable he truly cares about his customer and their car's. I feel this the best mechanic shop in the Keys. WHEATON'S FOR THE WIN!!!

I am extremely disappointed in Wheaton's I had ac issues and went there to drop my vehicle off I was told it would cost 968 dollars to FIX the AC that includes the new condenser and labor. I paid it begrudgingly because I said at least it will be fixed picked up my vehicle and my power steering wasn't hooked up. I left it there and made them aware, which they informed me the tech forgot to reset the power steering (sounds like he rushed the job and charged me top dollar) two days later the AC is no longer working I called them in tears I by no means have a lot of money and they said it's another issue that I wasn't made aware of originally... A sensor then I was told I could bring it back and pay another 2000 give or take... I was shocked and said to the man had I known it would be 3000 to fix my AC I would have purchased a new vehicle. Well 40 dollars for the part and a few YouTube videos later I can say I fixed my ac. Save your money and do it yourself at least then you know you did all you can do.
The part that bothers me the most is they didn't make me aware of the other issue until after the fact.
I feel like I was scammed.

While on vacation, Wheaton's helped us manage a minor repair. They were fast, honest, and reliable. Thanks to Wheaton's, we were able to relax and spend our time enjoying our vacation.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Wheaton’s for the past eight years, but unfortunately, the quality of service has consistently declined over time. I’ve had to deal with several issues following routine maintenance — including replacing two drain plugs, a valve stem, and making multiple return visits after alignments were supposedly completed.

Most recently, I had an alignment and tire rotation done, only to leave with noticeable steering wheel shaking. After seeking second opinions from two separate shops, I was told I now need four new tires — something that was never mentioned by Wheaton’s during the visit. When I followed up, I was told the only technician who works on tires was out of town for a week.

At this point, I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of thoroughness and communication. After years of giving them the benefit of the doubt, I can no longer recommend Wheaton’s for reliable or consistent service.

Excellent customer service and friendly. Had me in and out in less than 30 minutes with a tire repair. Can't say enough on how I would recommend them!! Thanks for the help!!!

Thank you Wheaton's! My wife and I were on our honeymoon driving to Key West when our rental car tire rapidly lost pressure. While at breakfast at Conch House our waitress recommend we take the car to Wheaton's and we're so glad she did! Tech found a small piece of metal in the tire and patched it right up. It was a small charge and the helpful lady at the front desk was able to bill it to the rental car company. We were back on the road within an hour or so. Thanks again!

They were outstanding. Had to have both truck (died) and travel trailer towed and the driver (William) helped us get back on the road ASAP.

Love Wheaton's! Their mechanics are trustworthy, and take the time to explain what's going on with your car. Prices were great for the area. Tyler did a great job and had my car running like it was brand new.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. I brought my car in after it started making this awful grinding noise, and from the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in good hands. The front desk was super friendly and explained everything in plain terms—no jargon, no pressure, just honest advice.

What really stood out was how fast they diagnosed the issue (a bad wheel bearing) and got it fixed the same day. They even showed me the old part and walked me through what had gone wrong. That level of transparency meant a lot to me.

This shop is everything you want in a mechanic: trustworthy, efficient, and genuinely customer-focused. I’ll definitely be coming back for all future maintenance. Big thanks to the whole team for getting me back on the road stress-free!

Tyler is the best mechanic in the Keys! Very knowledgeable and honest. I was expecting a hefty repair bill when my car started running rough. He explained to me it was simply a bad ignition coil causing a misfire (inexpensive fix). My car was fixed same day and is running like new again!! Highly recommend Wheatons service center!

These people scammed my mother out of almost 700 dollars for two tires & an air conditioning “check” They are unprofessional, and thieves. In this economy it’s sickening what people will do to make a few bucks, even if it means to rob someone. I do not recommend anyone goes here, they will scam you for your money and make your issue worse than what it is.

Had a breakdown in Key Largo on our way to Key West, and Wheaton's got us in, back on the road, and for a reasonable price. Would definitely call them again!

Recently had to get my car towed from an accident, the staff was beyond helpful. Most of all, they were extremely transparent when suggesting a solution, even offering to repair my car with their mechanic department. Great people!

Had issues with wheel imbalance driving from Canada. They booked us in next day and fixed the problem within a couple hours. Very reasonably priced. Great service. Very friendly and honest.

Went to Wheatons a couple months back, they “changed my valve gaskets” and performed a minor procedure on my exhaust and left both in worse condition than before. The valve cover gaskets were improperly changed out and caused my car an oil leak where I lost 4 quarts within about a week. They left tubes detached near my exhaust which caused a rattling noise and vibration from the back end of my car that weren’t present before. My car was left in undrive-able condition for months due to them before I could find a good mechanic to repair all the damage.

We broke down on our way to Key West late on a Friday. We called them early Saturday morning (a day they are closed), and they picked up our car promptly. They were very responsive the whole time with updates. We were also able to arrange a Saturday pick up for our vehicle. Highly recommend them!!!

After waiting 2 weeks for the guy to line up my Buick wheels, he worked and worked & before he started he said it may take a bit longer {he didn't say he was going to charge me by the hour} The lady with the raspy voice told me back 2 weeks that it would be $140.00. He test drove.. then again and again,, worked,,, and at the end he told me he used the 2 cam bolts that I gave him to use & he used both on one side telling me he had "Never" did that before,,, "WOW that made me feel good " said if I hit a pot hole that it may all come undone,, "danger" . He told me to get more cam bolts & he would "TRY " to make it right,,, then wanted $200.00 plus for a job that he didn't finish ! Danger driving not & "liable for this shotty work can be bad ! " Also,, he broke my hub cap ;-( I was told to contact "Better Business Bureau " . I want my money BACK ! Stay away from these people ! ... Now Saturday 7-20-24... No Response from this guy after he said send email.. no surprise there .. of these people, ,,, not happy .. more Options request coming . as of 7-22-24.. no help from these people ..
This guy should try to deliver pizzas.. put " 2 Cam bolts" on one side .. "DANGER !! " .. In Florida, each repair shop must register with the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. We will see ...

After a long drive to the keys, we finally arrived, and our car started making a weird noise! I was so stressed because we don't live anywhere near here! We found Wheaton's on Google, and I feel so grateful that it happened then and there because the staff at Wheaton's was so honest and were able to help so quickly. We dropped off the car that afternoon and they had it finished by 9:00 am the next morning!! Jay, William, and Jason were wonderful; the whole experience was so nice, easy, and honest. THANK YOU!

We had SUCH GREAT SERVICE at Wheaton's! Our truck broke down 20 minutes from seeing our new vacation home for the first time. Wheaton's hooked us up with a Jasper transmission in a timely fashion and it has been running great ever since!
We also had some other unfortunate things happen with the truck and Jay, the service manager, made sure everything was taken care of in the proper way and in a timely fashion. We are very happy with the service Jay and the rest of the crew have provided us! We highly recommend them and will definitely be back for all of our future car repairs. Nice to find good, honest mechanics in our new neighborhood:)

Brought my suburban into wheatons for a noise in transmission. They were extremely prompt and efficient in initial diagnosis. Did a service and informed me of a bigger issue with the transmission. Unfortunately I needed a new one but they got me back on the road quickly. I brought the truck back a week later for the new install. They put the new jasper trans in quickly and extremely well. Jay was fantastic with communication and answering all my questions. I couldn’t recommend higher with the service I got. Thanks.

We were towing our boat to Key Largo for vacation and experienced a blowout on the trailer along the way. Fortunately we had a spare and continued to our destination. On arrival we realized a second tire was also about to go. I saw Wheaton's as we drove past on the way to our rental. I called them in the morning and asked if they had the right tires in stock. They said they had 2 and were expecting 2 more (exact amount we needed) in the afternoon. The actually apologized for not having them right then and there. As we were there for the week, I told them to just call me when they came in and I would drop off the trailer for the day. They called the next morning, I dropped off the trailer and they had it back to me by then end of the day. I had 4 new tires to make the trip home without worry at a price lower than what I expected. Their customer service is top notch and I would recommend them to anyone. They came to our rescue and we are greatly appreciative.

We had just arrived in Key Largo for the first time on Friday July 30 after a 8 hour drive, stopped to check in to hotel and returned to truck and tire was extremely flat and getting flatter by the second. Found a air station across the street and immediately searched for a tire shop. Wheaton's popped up a few miles away, pulled in and was immediately greated and told to pull in to have it checked, found the problem immediately and was taken care of! Kristina in the office was super accommodating too, these guys were on it quick I was in and out in 20 minutes! You guys ROCK, thank you so much for saving the day heck saving my trip and getting me back on the road and assured me I would be ok! Oh yeah and did not charge an arm and a leg either I was for sure service like that came with a hefty price tag but nope it was reasonable! I recommend these guys for all your car service,needs! Happy vacationer from GA!

One of our tandem trailer tires had a faulty valve stem and almost flat and not able to “air up”. While in Marathon, everyone was “too busy” to fix the issue…. So the spare went on and thus, no spare…Next day… North out of the Keys and Googled where to fix… Wheaton!! YAY … Less than $20 and 15 minutes later… DUN! Great attitude!! Great folks!! These folks will save the day
