I went here to buy straps for my boat had trouble with the straps not working the manager here was very nice she took them back even though the package was destroyed and allowed me to get different ones with zero hassle. She also helped me find some bulbs i needed. Great place to stop for auto parts or supplies

The worst shopping experience I’ve ever had, The cashier Sarah is always rude, not only to the few customers in front of me but when I asked for helped she just rolled her eyes and mumbled something I asume the other lady was the manger coming from the back, the way the young girl spoke back was incredibly rude I’m surprised her attitude is tolerated, this is so unprofessional I didn’t even get any help I walked over to Napa this place is getting worse by the day

They were very helpful! We pit stopped worried about a teuck light. They sold my hubby what "he requested," gave me the self test gadget and then let him return everything he didn't actually need! Back on the road for adventure!

Lizmarie provided superb customer service while assisting my husband with a recent battery purchase on Friday 10/31/2025. Although she was unable to physically install the battery, she demonstrated exceptional product and technical knowledge by walking him through the entire installation process over the phone. She didn't just give general instructions; she knew the exact tool and bolt sizes needed for his vehicle. Thanks to her clear, precise guidance, he was able to install the battery in less than ten minutes without having to waste time searching for the right equipment. Lizmarie is an awesome asset to the team. Her expertise and clear communication turned a potentially complicated task into a fast, successful experience for us. She truly exemplifies what it means to be a knowledgeable problem-solver.

Big shout out to Luz, knowledgeable and friendly! Staff is very helpful here. I am constantly getting help from Alex, who is helping me keep my car up and running. Thanks all! Update: a year later I’ve had to pay my mechanic THREE TIMES to replace a starter bought here. I’ve gone through 3 starters in a year because I keep being sold bad parts. And… you are not honoring the warranty of the bad parts. It should not cost me over $1000 in labor just to put a working starter in my car.

Not sure what id do without this place when something happens to the car advance is always coming in clutch right there when we need it! Staff is usually happy to help, most reasonable things stay stocked. Good location.

I recently needed a specific part for my F150 and advance auto parts was a lifesaver! Lizmarie was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, guiding me to the correct part despite my limited technical knowledge. She definitely went above and beyond to ensure I got what I needed. Sarah was fantastic!! Best customer service we’ve ever received at an Advance store. She went above and beyond to help us with our battery installation, which was way more involved than a typical replacement. She even stayed late to make sure everything was working properly. Really appreciated her effort and attention to detail, we would have been stranded without her!

I had a bad battery and went to the Key Largo store. Luz C. changed my battery with ease. She knew how to use the equipment (ie battery tester, diagnostic machine). She also told me which oil filter I needed. I really applaud her for her expertise.

Clerks at this store lack basic customer service skills such as taking care of the customer who is next in line, or even saying "Thank you " when the sale is complete. I can get the same merchandise at several retailers nearby. Why would I come back here?

I wish I can score a zero star. My husband, a longtime Advance Auto parts customer, experienced a disappointing experience from a very unprofessional employee! My husband called this Advance Auto Parts in key largo on 6/20/24 , a gentleman answered and put him on hold. He never returned and eventually my husband’s. call was dropped. A little while later at approximately 6:43pm another man answered. My husband explained he had been on hold for a long while and the call dropped, he answered “ we are very busy, so make it quick” , when my husband asked for his name, he did not want to provide it, when asked again, He said “Kevin”, which possibly may not be his name, but regardless he was rude and has horrible customer service. Based on the date and time I’m sure you can figure out who was working. Upon further review, we were able to find out his name was not Kevin, which he lied about, since he knew he had done wrong, his name is Alex, and he is the assistant Manager. This employee should be addressed on proper customer service. He should not be dealing with the public if he can’t take the heat!

While in Key Largo on my first vacation in a couple of years, the car I was driving began making a noise and had steering issues. The guys at this store immediately assisted me with identifying the problem and providing a solution. I was able to check and power steering fluid to the reservoir and be back on vacation within a very short time. Thanks guys!! Your professionalism and customer service are greatly appreciated!

It is rare nowadays to find honesty, integrity and friendliness. I dropped my Amex card in the store earlier today. When I realized this afternoon I retraced my steps back to this store. Not only was my credit card there but the manager had locked it away in the safe. Thank you!

I was having issues with removing oil bolt from underneath my car. I was about to return produts that I purchased from store until Associate Robert informed me he would access the probelm. Robert went to my vehicle & had the Wisdom & correct tools to solve my probelm & I had no need to return products I purchased. 👊

I live in Islamorada and to order the part I need to drive 30 min (to key Largo) to order the part (in person) they don't have. Why this is so frustrating is they do not have the part in stock but can have it tomorrow only if I show up in person even though I am willing to pay in full over the phone. The worst business model I have ever seen and will no longer be giving this horribly run corporate company my business.

Oh my goodness! I had the most best experience at advance auto parts in key Largo Florida. Alex the genius behind the bar saved me at least $6000 in fees and parts if I was to go to a body shop. He looked at my car with no charge told me what was wrong with it and how to fix it. He even gave me some nice tips on how to keep my engine clean to keep it from happening again. Alex was the best and super well with customer service. He had a smile on his face the entire time and even straight up a Convo to keep me intrigued in this hard time of my life. Highly recommend going to advance auto parts and seeing Alex he’s the best

Stopped in to replace a battery, and guess who was there to greet me ? It was Alex ! Alex made sure i got the most affordable and exact fit knowing my vehicle is old with high mileage. Thats what a good store associate should do instead of trying to sell the highest priced product they have.

Store employee Alex is a God send! He helped me with find the right fuses for the car on a long trip back home from the Keys when I had an emergency. Thank you Alex for going the extra mile and demonstrating that there are still upstanding, friendly, professional, caring people in this world. I hope you’re reading this management, Alex is an asset to your company who is super friendly and has exceptional customer service skills. No good deed should go unnoticed. If I need anything automotive, Advance Auto is my store because of this experience!

Rosa is the bomb! Thought I needed a new starter but turns out I just needed a new battery. She came out and helped me change it like an expert after I bought it. Excellent service and I highly recommend this location for all your automotive needs.

I am from out of town and had an alternator go bad on my truck on the 4th of July. Thanks to folks here barrowed tools and YouTube I replaced it right in the parking lot since the truck died. Was in and out in little over 1 hour.
