The police called these guys after my car accident. DO NOT let them take you to Pro Automotive Center (2185 NW 30th Ave, Miami, FL 33142) (just read their reviews here and on Better Business Bureau).
Have them take your car home and then get your car towed to your insurance company's preferred shop. This will ultimately save you a ton of money, time and headaches (again, just read the reviews).
My car was towed 8/14 by the police , the police never checked my car or touched my car , all he did was call the tow truck and I was there when they picked it up and drove off the police did not follow, I took out the things I can carry with me, my son shoes his cologne my perfume Apple Watch n shit missing , when I called the guy who answered said nobody never goes in the car, that’s a lies 3 yrs back I had a truck towed there and my man brand new Air Force ones was missing , yall have bums sleeping in the yard with dogs of course he took it but won’t rewind a camera
Basically stole my car and took it to their lot and are most likely gonna charge me extra in the morning. Also I was told it will cost 250-280 while at the crash site, once we arrived home he raised the price to $350. We got into a little fuss and the guy decided to drive off with my car.
This place is ridiculous I mean insanely stupidly ridiculous. I mean my mom literally came from the hospital from an accident. The cops dropped the car off here. WORST place ever I mean EVER. They don’t allow you to take your car out. Because they want to make money off of you by “ fixing it for you” first they gave one price of $150 now they we are saying no we just want our car they want to add crazy prices for us to take out the car. The car hasn’t even been at this place for 6 hours. Before you stumble upon this place be careful. We have told them “no we want to remove our car” for the past hour. This towing company is the worst, they take your belongings whrn towed and then charge fees that only they have, furthermore with the way technology is nowadays they make it so hard to get your vehicle from them.
Elio, the guy on the front desk, did a great job. Friendly and professional, answered all my questions and helpful too.
Look - it’s vehicle towing. The prices are set by the city. Are they too high? Absolutely they are, especially considering my vehicle was stolen and recovered and now I’m $250 out of pocket to pickup an almost worthless vehicle anyways.
So if you have a problem with the prices >> talk to MIAMI CITY
But they have their job, and they were friendlier and more professional than other tow places I’ve interacted with. So props to that, and that’s the sole reason they’re getting 4 stars.
WORST COMPANY! Yesterday my sister had a accident and we specifically told the police we don’t want them to call a towing company because is too expensive! They came anyways and wanted to take it to downtown, we had to pay 186 dollars just for them to take it to our house, (we live one block away) the police officer was also lying saying we told them yes when we never told them too!! The guy was rude and yelling at us!! Don’t let them SCAM you! They work with the POLICE just to get your money. THIIS IS UNFAIR AND ABUSE OF POWER.

I used to have nothing but negative things to say about this company because of the ignorant drivers and the way they handle people's property. When I finally had to deal with them I was expecting to be jerked around and taken advantage of. Thank God I was helped by Luigi. He was a blessing in helping me retrieve my car. I followed his directions and I had my car out in a couple of hours.. this was an unregistered classic car. I was missing a few small items but honestly, it didn't bother me because they could have made it difficult for me but they didn't!
Edit: Few days later after parking and covering my car, I pull it out and found a dent in the side of my car I take back everything I said. Luigi cool, other than that this place is deplorable.

Makes sense miami pd would use some lower towing company with 0 american citizens and educated as far as maybe 3rd grade. This company is unprofessional and will be reported to BBB. My car is also now also damaged so I'll be coming.
It's rare to find a decent, ethical towing company. Unfortunately, these people are no exception. Typically, it's an industry that hires the "unhireable," so don't expect professionalism or it will just cause further disappointment.
Yesterday's experience with Downtown Towing left me with mixed feelings. While dealing with two different individuals, it was the interaction with a specific employee, a young lady, that salvaged the overall experience. In a situation where frustrations can run high, her exceptional customer service stood out.
Despite feeling undervalued as a customer initially, the positive encounter with this employee was a refreshing change. Her professionalism and friendliness turned the tide and demonstrated the impact good customer service can have, even in challenging situations.
While I hesitate to say I look forward to returning to this establishment, if I do find myself in that situation, it's the hope of encountering individuals like her that would make the visit more bearable. Kudos to her for exemplifying what true customer service should be.

This company is a total rip off, illegally towed my vehicles, consistently violated different state and county laws, damaged my vehicle, and still charged almost $700 with different fees. The government must investigate this terrible business. Wish I can give them negative star.

Racial profiling and racist. I had paid for my car and I was standing outside in the hot sun waiting for the guy to take my vehicle out so I can take it home. As I’m waiting, two other people came in, paid and the guy helped and assisted them with they vehicle. Had me standing outside for almost about an hour in the hot sun.
DO NOT GET YOUR CAR TOWED HERE. They don’t take care of the vehicle. I had dents all over my car and they stole stuff out of my vehicle.

AND THE DRIVER ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT MOVING FROM THE EXPRESSWAY LINES ALL THE WAY, 4 LINES TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. Be aware of how they will drive WITH YOUR CAR ATTACHED.
They’re so unprofessional!! My family had an accident and supposedly the police was the one who called them…. For only 1 mile of towing they charged my dad 315 dollars! It’s unbelievable. My car was towed by downtown towing. When I went to get my car out they were unprofessional and rude. Had me waiting 30 mins knowing my car was right by the gate. These people are thieves and poor enough to still a half used cologne and my iPhone charger. I’m sure they stole some other things cause my car was ran thru and everything in the car was a mess.
THIEVES!! My son is there now with money and valid title to retrieve his car. They are trying to steal it by saying he doesn't have a physical driver's license. WE WILL SUE IF THEY SELL THIS CAR AT AUCTION! TOTAL SCAMMERS!
Absolutely worthless company. Called to have my car towed on two separate days and both days they said they were on their way, but never showed up. They should be shut down for their utter incompetence. If you have any self-worth, you will take your business elsewhere, so you don't have to waste your time like I did.
My daughter was in an accident and they towed the car while she went to the hospital and by time she could get to the car to get her things they stole her AirPods her g-Shock watch that she just got about a week before the accident. Shame on you for taking advantage of a injured person. Your supposed to tow the car not take what you want.. I would definitely give you zero stars if I could.
They stole items from my car knowing the police couldn't really do anything. They were actively rude to every person they spoke to. I witnessed them put someone on speakerphone so they could ignore the valid questions the caller was asking. It was pretty awful and astounding. They're the company that works directly with the police station which adds to the shadiness.
This is the WORSE place to deal with in regards of your car!!! If you never listened to anyone before please listen to me. I’m trying to permanently erase the entire experience out of my mind. But please run run far away from this place as possible!!! They will steal your car!! And Customer service is horrific! I don’t understand how they get away with certain stuff.
