The Advance Auto Parts Store in Dunnellon, FL is always clean, neat and well organized. The shelves are well stocked. Any time I have needed help with batteries, wiper blades or what ever, a friendly employee has cheerfully volunteered to make the installation for me. prices are reasonable.

I ordered a room on line. Got the email saying it was ready for pickup, drove the 20 miles to the store, was told there was a piece missing, would have another one in about 2 hours. This is not the first time I have had issues with this store. I have avoided going there at all if I can help it. The staff is not as knowledgeable as they try to seem. I went to get a battery for my truck, the guy said oh this is the battery you need, looked at the battery and it was opposite of what I needed. Luckily I noticed before I bought it. Their computer system is going down all the time and they say we'll you can pay cash. I don't carry cash and how can you pay cash if the computer doesn't ring anything up. This store and the people that work there are terrible. Will never go back again. I'll go to O'Reilly, they always get my orders right.

Unfortunately it was necessary to purchace a new battery for my Ram. She was very helpful describing 4 different batteries. Since I am often towing, I did purchase the higher replacement.

They are always so helpful. I've seen them help install wiper blades and a new car battery at no cost. Alot of them will even throw their code reader to determine why your check engine light is on.

Omg what a great employee , Kailey was so helpful , I went to check my car and check went above and beyond and even checked my old batter , the one on and alternator and starter ,, I will come back looking for her for any auto need , definitely a 10 A++++

As a professional diesel mechanic with over 30 years of experience in my trade I have never in my entire professional career run across a more unprofessional bunch of individuals and I did this Sunday 09/31/2025 The man behind the counter was rude, misogynistic, and tried to sell my wife, a whole bunch of stuff that she did not need. This kind of opportunistic behavior towards women is both degrading and misogynistic. She went across the street to O’Reillys. The woman behind the counter was courteous, neat well kept, and professional. She didn’t try to sell my wife anything extra. Or call her a stupid woman like the man at Advanced Auto Parts. From this point on my corporation will no longer be doing business with advanced auto parts, And the $150,000 a year I spend in parts I will take elsewhere. Remember, just because it’s a woman in front of you doesn’t mean she she’s ignorant. This time she had the entire experience knowledge and support of a team of mechanics behind her and you still tried to rip her off!!! Diesel Dave Companies LLC.

They have what I need, but sometimes a little pricey vs. ordering from Amazon. Depends on if you can wait for parts, or need instant gratification. Always helpful, nice variety of tools and car parts.

Very grateful to Advanced Auto in Dunnellon today. Saved me a considerable amount of money by having what I was told, was a "dealership only" battery. Not only that, the gentleman behind the counter happily installed it for me, not even seeming to mind today's sweltering heat. I cannot begin to express my gratitude. Advanced has the right parts and above that, they have the right people. Today they gained a return customer. Thank you ever so much.

Had a great experience today with Greg! Tested my battery and told me it was bad, which I had been to another auto parts place today that told me it wasn't bad. Greg was very attentive and friendly. He installed the battery which another auto part place won't do for you. I forgot to give him a piece that needed to go on after the battery was installed and he had to take apart to get that part in and did it with no complaints. Told him he had turned a day that was full of stress due to having my car not start and left me stranded and was told by the other auto parts store, my battery was not the issue. Yet I was told by Honda, it was my battery; but their pricing was way too excessive. But at Advanced was much cheaper and got a 4yr warranty! Can't beat that! Will be using Advanced Auto Parts for now on for car needs. Greg is a great asset to have working there! Thank you, Greg, for the great customer service today!

This store is normally really great but seems to have gone downhill lately, shows up this morning 40 minutes after placing my online order which states ready in 30. Not only was it not ready but they didn’t have the 3 out of the 3 items I ordered in stock when the website clearly said pickup today. Not a happy customer days before Christmas and I need transmission fluid. Went to O’Reillys they had everything.

Good prices they have what I need and are friendly. The only reason not five stars is because they are sooooooo slow at checkout. Holy cow it was faster at the DMV. Bring a lunch when you are ready to checkout.

I was told specifically what to pick up from my husband. I go in and relay the message of what I am looking for, and I'm super nice about it. I get the "make and model of the vehicle" comment with attitude from the guy. Fine, sure, I give the info and then once again ask where the item I'm looking for is. He got mad that I wanted to verify it was the correct thing my husband needed prior to purchase. (It was called something different and said things i was unsure of) Verifying by taking a picture and sending it to my husband to ok it. Took less than 3 minutes, and there was only 1 other person in the store on the other side of the store. My 14yo even said the guy was a jerk and shouldn't have talked to me in such a demanding tone. We got what we needed, but we will go to a different company down the road from now on. Hopefully, this company will train their male employees to treat women with the same respect as they do men.

This store has really helped me out. Esteban takes enough time to make me feel confident about whatever problem I'm having with the Ram. I've never felt uncomfortable with my purchases. It's reassuring to know Esteban has my best interests in mind.

I have been a loyal customer at this Advance Auto Parts for over 2 years since I moved to this area. Today, one of their female employees (who has attended me before with no issue) treated me in the worst way that I have been treated. I bought a throttle position sensor a couple of months ago, and because I usually purchase ALL my parts from Advance, I made the mistake of assuming I bought it there. I needed a replacement that was covered under warranty. She immediately raised her voice, treated me like it was a burden on her to help me, and was just downright nasty to me. At the end, after her telling me she wasn't going to deal with me and pushing me onto the manager, he found out I had warranty with O'Reilly's. I have never been so disrespected in my life at an auto parts store. I may not be rich or have alot of money to my name, but I've spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars at this Advance, and despite her personal feelings, I should not have been treated this way, nor should anyone else. I won't be back to this Advance ever.

It's a good store. They have really nice patient people that work here. You have to have the people who work here look up what you need every time you go for filters and parts because they don't have a book or computer for customers to do it by their self. They have all the fluids you may need for normal vehicles. And they have some accessories that you may need or just want?

Came in to purchase a battery had no problems the counter guy was getting a kick out of myself and my guy friend with verbal conversation asked if we were married? Both of us at the same time clearly said NO! Haha ? made him laugh he treated us both very good ?

I brought in 4 old car batteries to recycle, because I saw they gave store gift cards. They could only give me money for 3, so I saved the last battery for another time. I got much needed wiper blades, and they installed them. It was an awesome trade off & I got my son some cheeseburgers with the change.

I came in to get a fast charge on my battery. Al got that going for me, no problem. I went back outside to wait. As I approached my van I noticed I was dragging a black hose under the van. I must have snagged it somewhere and broke it. I wasn't sure what the hose was or of it was important. I figured I could pick up a replacement since I was already at the auto part store. I went back in and asked Al if he could take a look at it so I could buy another because I wasn't sure what to ask for. There was only one other person in the store and he was already being helped. Al told me no. He wouldn't even look. Awful customer service. Thank God O'Reilly Auto Parts was 2 minutes away.

Friendly and courteous staff. Tested my battery and electrical system. Replaced my battery and had me back on the road in about 45 minutes. I was not the only customer there. They were still very quick. Will go there again, very satisfied.

Clean store, friendly employees that are willing to help you find what you need. I also recycle my used motor oil here all the time (no charge).
