The flea market itself wasn't bad, however the bird guy's pet store was the most disgusting place I had ever seen. The cages were small and dirty. The hairless rats were living in filth with partial eaten skeletons of other rats. The guy has 0 knowledge of proper reptile husbandry. The savanna monitor was living on pine horse pellets. No humidity for the pythons and dirty tanks and water bowls. The camelons were in small tanks with only a water dish. The bottom layer of substrate in the mice tanks was saturated in urine. The owners wife had some sort of primate and when a customer asked to pet him it tried to bite him.

I had a permanent jewelry put on from a lady named Michelle. She has a store and also sells jewelry and stones. The bracelet and anklet she did on me keeps breaking. She fixed it once, but has kept breaking. She also burned me with the soldering iron. She has refused to give me a refund and is never there to repair it.

As a couple from Daytona, this is a true flea market. Not the commercial type we have back home. This is how our favorite flea market!

Great flea market. Still has a great selection. Not just cheap junk made in China.

I enjoy going to this place. I find it a tad bit not African American friendly but I do meet those who are genuinely friendly and that makes the difference. Always find something interesting or different.

The Chiefland Flea Market is a great place to spend a morning or afternoon, especially if you enjoy browsing and finding unexpected gems. There’s a wide variety of vendors offering everything from antiques and tools to handmade items and fresh food, so it never feels repetitive. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with plenty of familiar faces and vendors who are happy to chat or help you find what you’re looking for. Prices are reasonable, and there’s always the chance of stumbling across a really good deal. It feels like a true local flea market with character and personality, not something overly commercialized. Whether you’re hunting for something specific or just walking around to see what catches your eye, it’s an enjoyable and worthwhile stop.

Love what has been done except for the food trucks taking the Handicap Parking. Three spots are not enough. Otherwise it's booming.

One of our favorite places to walk around, shop, and get an amazing lemonade from the little lemon! ?

I would of gave it 5 stars! The only reason I didn't was because I wish Fri and Sun had as many vendors as Sat does. I went recently on a Fri and there was barely any vendors there at all no food places was open either. Been going there off and on for years. Yes it is my favorite place to go in Chiefland. I would definitely recommend going but only on a Sat when all the vendors are there of course.

My husband and I visited the Flea and Farmers market last weekend. It is very cute. The vegetables and fruits look great!! The fishing store inside has great deals on lures. The bathrooms are nice and clean. If you go, you must visit the lemonade stand outside... the strawberry lemonade is AMAZING!! We had a great time. We are planning another trip there. Thank you for the memories!

I was able to use their walker and they also have a wheelchair for use free. Great little farmers market with a plethora of goods. Make sure to check out The Barefoot Botanica Herbs and Thing's. Debi is wonderful. She has crystals, teas, and books galore. Also Debbie's Veggies is great for your fresh produce

I have visited numerous times and always find what I am looking for. All the vendors are so sweet and helpful. I love that I can bring my dog with me. Some of the best homemade goods can be found here. My favorites are the honey, jams, and fresh produce. Also the fishing equipment store has some of the sweetest staff you will ever meet and they are super helpful in helping to set up the rods for fishing.

Small but nice flea market. Inside (more permanent spots) and outside (smaller sellers) vendors. Full time vegetables for sale the rest seems to be mainly on Friday and Saturday. A nice way to look for that special item. If you get hungry there are many selections for good, hot and cold food. Try the fresh pork rinds, stop at the oriental food restaurant, or bring home fresh bakery, honey or vegetables. A good place with friendly people.

Nice little flea market. Most of it is under roof. Fairly good sized. It took us about an hour to stroll through it.

Mostly people that buy things to resale. I will stop by again if I’m in the area on a Saturday, but I wouldn’t make a special trip.
