Captain John B got to me in no time, provided excellent skill and service, and went above and beyond after he was done, helping me sort out the problem! Absolutely worth the subscription fee I paid!
Though I am not a member of SeaTow yet, these folks, from Joann in the office to the highly capable Capt. Blake, did an excellent job moving my new boat dock to dock and onto a trailer so I could bring it home. Great work by a great crew.
In the worst situations, you hope for the best rescue crews. And that’s what I got when my amphibious plane had a dead battery and I needed a tow. Sea Tow Tampa Bay crushed it! Cole, Steven, Brice, and Caleb, we’re quickly on site to come to the rescue. They formulated a plan to get us pulled in safely, and even helped pull the plane from the boat ramp up to dry land. They took a bad situation and made it such an amazing experience. This crew is phenomenal! A special thanks to all the guys and the dispatch which helped. You guys are the best!!!

Boating with my family on Sunday Memorial Day weekend, I called Seatow for a battery issue.
I spoke with Captain Ryan on the phone he set up our service and in a very short while Captain Dustin arrived and helped us get back underway.
Our family has had a Seatow membership for a few years now and I highly recommend them to friends and family.
Robert Hughes with Sea Tow came out and towed us close to the marinas and gave us 5 gallons of fuel to be able to navigate ourselves into the fuel dock! He even shared some fishing tips! Great guy!
My experience with Seatow was excellent. From the moment I called to the moment they arrived was a great experience thru a stressful moment. Captain Dustin was very professional and extremely helpful thru out the situation. I Highly highly recommend using getting Seatow membership when out on the water. Best investment of piece of mind to have for any boater. You won’t regret it!!!
I used Seatow yesterday for a dock to dock tow. Captain Dustin was assigned the task. He communicated well with me prior to arrival and kept me informed of his intentions for towing and arrival docking along the way. He did very well getting my boat from my home dock to Land End Marina. The docks were very upon our arrival to the marina, there was no space to dock. He patiently waited for the docks hands to make room maintaining a safe distance from the others boats and wet slips in a tight space with a slight breeze. It was a good experience and I recommend Seatow Tampa Bay and Captain Dustin.
We lost power steering in Tampa Bay and Devin showed up to the rescue. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. He represented the company with 5 star service. Also got us to resigned up for the membership which he took the initiative to talk about. He’s a keeper and has a bright future with the company. Well done!!!
This company is not good! I would never recommend Sea Tow Company to any of my friends. Our boat slipped off the lift during Hurricane Helene. As a client with the membership, I called them and asked for help. The captain replied that it would cost me $5.5K and that they might be able to help me in a few weeks! I couldn’t wait and let the engine sit underwater for so long. I put it back on the lift myself with the help of my neighbor and a couple of guys. After that, I called Sea Tow and asked them to tow it to my marina around the corner (it’s a free service for clients with membership). Four times, we would start the work order, and 4 times, they would never come as promised, and every time, they would have all kinds of excuses: low tide, bad weather, no one is available, etc. The worst part was that every time I had to wait for the whole week, they would never simply call back to inform me about the changes in their plans. This so awful and disrespectful to their customers.
Unfortunately had engine issues and required a tow back to launch. The ease and friendly service provided by Capt Caleb, made a bad day a bit better. Got use hooked up and placed at a very busy ( holiday weekend) boat ramp without issues.
These guys are top tier. Everyone I’ve had interactions with(specifically Captains Steve(GM), Caleb, Grant, and Michael) have been absolute professionals.
They’re knowledgeable and have always gone above and beyond to help. Even when a service or situation falls outside of my membership coverage, they are always the most reasonably priced. No matter the vessel or situation, I have been treated as a valued member.
There is no other comparable service or company on the water.
We have been SeaTow members for years. It is something we have had and hoped to never need, but we needed it today. Captain Grant came quickly and towed us in. He was professional and handled his boat and ours well. He had us back quickly and safely. I will absolutely continue to be a SeaTow member. This experience gave me a lot of confidence in them and the proven knowledge that they have my back on the water.

Had a great dock to dock tow due to engine issues.
First attempt I neglected to account for winter tides which resulted in me canceling last minute, which they were incredibly charitable about.
Second attempt went without a hitch. They had to navigate a narrow bridge and dock in loggerhead marina. They coordinated to have a second boat trail, ensuring no damage.
Couldn’t have gone smoother.
Our engine broke down several miles into our trip and we were stranded in the bay by the Skyway. Called Sea Tow and spoke to someone immediately. Due to the high volume of calls they let us know it could be up to an hour which was understandable. Captain Stephen Vigilante contacted us within 15 minutes and arrived shortly after that. He was very professional and had us under tow very quickly. Captain Stephen had us back to the dock quickly without any issues. If you are boating you need to have a Sea Tow membership. Well worth the money and excellent service. Great job Captain Stephen!
My wife, 2 children, dog, and I left the boat ramp. Our boat broke down 300 yards from the ramp. We drifted up against the mangroves. Called sea tow. Said would be 400 per hour. Sea tow Capt called us said he was 20-30 minutes away. He showed up 30 minutes later. Hooked us up towed us approximately 400 yards back to ramp. Start to finish with sea tow driving to us. Maybe 50 minutes. They said we went over an hour so charged us for 2 hours. 800 dollars. This is poor service. Drive slower so you can rack up another 400. Kind of like the old CAB driver taking the scenic route. I am a local owner of several businesses. Also, am very aware businesses have to make money. This is completely wrong and very intentional. Even with them milking the clock said over and hour it couldn’t have been more than 1 hour and ten minutes. This service would be similar to price gouging when a person is in need. This was very intentional. Bad business practice for folks that are stuck and in need of help.
Worst service ever. Called for a tow off of a sandbar. Took them over an hour and a half to get there and when they arrived. I was already free. They say they are gonna charge me 350 bucks plus an aground fee. I told them I would pay 100 bucks for the trouble of them coming out. Then the guy named Capt. Steve says if we didn't pay the full price he was going to find the boat and sink it. Needless to say he won't be getting anything now. Wish I could give negative stars to make sure no one ever has to be stuck with his service.
We where replacing a mast and Capt Ryan H provided excellent on time tows to and from the riggers in the same day. His professionalism and 'tow' knowledge is vast. You are in 'Good Hands' with Capt Ryan H !
Sea Tow, was very responsive with phone calls and texts. Captain showed up on time, very professional. He made sure Me, My passengers and boat were safely on boat lift before he left. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Sea Tow is the BEST. I was rescued on Sunday Sept. 8th. (In Tampa Bay.) Although I did Tip the Captain who got us back to the dock.. I failed to remember his name. I did detect his Canadian Accent. He was great. He immediately asked my wife if she was okay (she was seasick) He secured our boat with his tow line and got us to the dock and helped me load my boat. Thank You to all who help at Sea Tow.

On 10-9 the alternator went out on my 24ft Sea ray in the intercoastal and I drifted aground. I was stuck for hours. Finally broke free and drifted to nearby dock and secured. The conditions were bad small craft advisory. Your company sent a boat out with just 1 guy. He was careless causing injury and property damage to the boat on the dock I tied too. He was repeatedly told by sheriff deputy, myself and owner of dock that the boat was still cleated. He gets a tow rope makes my friend hook and proceeded to start leaving. In doing so he broke my friends hand and ripped mine up trying to un-tie. By him prematurely taking off my boat came in contact with the dock owners boat breaking the rutter. Who sends 1 guy during advisory? $400 per hour and you destroyed a lot of stuff. Worst company USE U.S. boat.
We had an incident right near st Pete beach when our boat started taking on water. Sea tow quickly found employees in our area when I called, and these guys got us out of the water, found and fixed our leak, and had us on our way in 30 minutes. They were friendly, quick , and super accommodating during a really rough time. Defintely recommend!!
Called sea tow about being pulled off sand bar we were about a mile away they quoted me $770 I said never mind but they still came out . I told them I did not have $780 on hand or a credit card. They left me stranded in the middle of the night for 12 hrs until 2:30 in the morning when at high tide I was able to free my boat. VERY POOR SERVICE TO LEAVE ME STRANDED IN MIDDLE OF OCEAN AND NOT TO EVEN OFFER A SUGGESTION TO CALL COAST GUARD THAT I LATER FOUND WOULD HELP FOR FREE!!!!!!!!
