I went in for a diagnostic and was told they didn't know what was wrong with it but was still charged a $30 diagnostic fee. Which would've been okay if they actually diagnosed the problem. I was only told that it could possibly be a CO2 sensor that would run me $400 but it wasn't a guarantee. I then took it to another mechanic for a second opinion where I was told it was very obviously a collapsed hose and it was very apparent. $20 later my car was fixed, my engine light was off and the problem was solved. I'm not sure if they were incompetent or just lying. But after this experience I will never trust or recommend them to anybody.
They were amazing and i had some parts dropped off to them to pick up they were by far a friendly and helpful and their prices were considerably cheap I would definitely recommend them ain't many places around here that offer that
We are traveling around the state of Florida when our car dollys tire blew out. So we were towed to Shamrock tire and brake. Unfortunately it was more than a tire, it was the bearings as well. But they fixed us up just in time for us to leave for the next city. Can't thank the team enough. Great work, great service and great prices.
All around good feeling when dealing with them everytime! Sadly you can't say that about a lot of business these days and it is very much appreciated!! Every time I've dealt with them they are definitely there to fix the problem not just take the money!
We had two different tires issues (within 2 miles of each other) while traveling through across Cross City over the weekend. The owner of Shamrock Tires & Brake pulled over to check on us. We had one tire blow out and another with a valve stem leak. Him, along with his son, graciously took our two bad tires bad to his shop and fixed them. He brought them back to us all fixed and even delivered some bottles of water as well. B’s kind act was such a blessing.
My husband had trouble with his Honda beater. He took it there, and they fixed it -- no fuss -- for $25. We couldn't believe it. We had expected hundreds, if we were lucky. We're their customers for life.
I had a 10am appointment and after 45 minutes of waiting and them taking people ahead of me I LEFT! I won’t be going back either! My time is as valuable if not more valuable than theirs!
Don’t waste your time with appointments they obviously don’t matter! Find somewhere else to go.. don’t let them waste your time like they did mine!
A big THANK YOU!! to the kind folks at Shamrock Automotive for their assistance after my trailer tire exploded southbound on 98 just north of Cross City. Excellent service, and friendly staff. They dropped everything and followed me back to the trailer. I was back on the road in under an hour. Can’t thank them enough. If you need service, don’t hesitate to call on them! I know I will.
The Owner Len "B" Beckham is extremely helpful as well as the staff. They offer gas/diesel and mechanic/tire service. Great service and a friendly atmosphere.
Unprofessional I had an appointment and I waited a week too

I show up early to my appointment just to be told that they couldn't do it and to schedule next week I couldn't do that I had appointments everyday next week I needed it done that day ...their loss of money 💰
High priced gas. More expensive than any other gas station in the area. Do not see the use of coming here when there are so many other options to choose from. that are not so out of the way of regular travel.
We had a tire blowout on a trailer when we were evacuating from hurricane Irma. We stopped in and they were boarding up their windows. They stopped boarding up and helped us get new tires put on the trailer so we could get home. Thanks for helping us out when they could have just told us no. Good hard working people!
I would not let them work on my lawn mower!!! I bought all the parts to save money and still paid 300$ for 2 hours of work. When I went to pick up my car the mechanic (if you can even call him that) came and asked me if my car pulled to the right and kinda shook before I dropped it off. I told him that I never had a problem with that before and his response was that I probably did but just didn't notice but that he fixed it as much as he could. I also asked him what he seen when he looked at my motor(which is something me and my husband had asked him to do) and he said that he would have to clean it and all of this would cost me extra! The drive home was not what I expected! My car now pulled horribly and even small bumps made it sound like my undercarriage was going to fall out! After further inspection my husband (who is not a machanic) seen that the man did not even tighten my suspension bolts and that was what was making that horrific sound!not to mention that he did not even put all of the parts in that I had bought. For the money that I paid I got nothing short of more problems and a lot of headache! I drive an hour to and from school every day so having to be scared to drive my vehicle in order to get where I need to get is rediculous. when you trust someone to fix your car and you get back more of a problem than what you started with that is a real shame. Take your vehicle to shamrock auto care in cross city Florida at your own risk!!!!!
