I could not find anyone to fix my radiator in my 1952 Jaguar that I have owned for 38 years. Every time I would call a repair facility they would say "you have to get someone to make you a new one" and then install it into your car. I called several companies that made new radiators but it took two to three weeks and the cost was between $1100 and $1700. When I called, "Pompano Radiators" Robson answered the phone. I told him "my radiator was leaking from the seam of the top water tank" and he said "I can fix it"! I said "How?". He said "I can braze (solder with brass) the entire top water tank and give you a one year guarantee". I drove my Jaguar to his shop within the hour, stopping every 3 to 4 miles to fill up the radiator with water. Robson assured me he could use brass and braze the seam of the top water holding tank. Then he told me he was the owner and would guarantee the radiator would not leak where he did the repair for one year. He did say it would probably last a lifetime but the guarantee (in writing) would last one year. He also promised it would be completed in one day. The price was fair and less than 60% of the cost of a new one. I made an appointment for two days later and dropped the car off at 8 am (when he opened). The car was done at 5pm (as he promised). It has be ten days since the repair and I have driven the car over 300 miles without the loss of one drop of water. I would recommend Robson and his company to anyone that wants a professional repair completed on their vehicle.
Took my car in with AC not running cold, they did tell me that there was a $140 freon charge, but then openly admitted to finding out that there was just a loose fuse connection, so basically unplugged and replugged and everything worked perfectly. Was then charged an extra $110 for that??? My Mercedes key was returned broken and separated from the rest of the keys, after which I was told thank you and goodbye, only to arrive home and realize they had not left my house keys in the car, they were lying on a table in the workshop.
Needless to say, will never be using this workshop again
I live out in AZ and this place allowed a fraudulent transaction with my bank account for over $800. Was not me, have never even been to Florida. Yet was charged by them. I have disputed it.
