Edited: The owner’s response validates my assertion that he does not value his customers. He had every opportunity to at least communicate with me and he chose not to until I wrote this review. Original Post: This started out as a pretty good transaction. In August of 2023, I found a BRAND NEW Peterbilt straight truck with a 22' Jer Dan Bed on TLC Truck and Equipment's web site. The web site had all the information I needed to make a decision. I contacted Alex (Finance Manager) and paid their asking price for the truck to be picked up the following week. The truck was ready as promised and we picked it up and paid in full upon pick up. We used the truck for about 4 weeks without any trouble. Then we got a check transmission light and found a leak at the aftermarket PTO that was installed by TLC. It was installed by them in order to operate the Jer-Dan bed that they also installed. We took the truck to our local Peterbilt Dealer and they said it was not covered under warranty because the PTO was not installed by Peterbilt. I called TLC Truck and they said it was not their issue and Peterbilt should take care of it. After contacting Peterbilt Customer Service, They agreed to repair the truck at their expense just to have a happy customer. Three weeks later the truck was fixed (there was a delay due to the "special" transmission fluid availability). We used the truck for about 1500 miles more and got another transmission fault that put the truck into limp mode. My driver was 120 miles from home. So, we had the truck towed to Orlando ($1,250). and paid an UBER to bring my driver home ($250). It turns out that the truck now needs a Transmission and Radiator which Peterbilt will cover under warranty. But it will be down around 6-8 weeks due to parts availability. We have now been without the use of our truck for 11 weeks of the 16 weeks that we have owned it. This is where I have a problem with TLC Truck and Equipment. They were unwilling to help with the first repair even though, it was THEIR FAULT. Then when the Transmission blew up (probably due to the fluid leak caused by TLC) they refused to help with the tow bill or UBER cost to get our driver home. I told the service manager (Pablo) that I thought their customer service was awful and to tell the owner that I was going to give them a bad review on social media if he did not agree to help out (I would have been happy to split it). Pablo called me back and said the owner told him that he would not do anything for us and we were on our own. I would not recommend doing business with these people. The owner does not care about his customers. Alex and Pablo tried to help. But, ultimately the owner would not allow them to do the right thing. STAY CLEAR of this company! If you have a problem, you will be left to deal withy it on your own.

Wow!!! Honestly speechless with the great customer service that was provided by Lester, Alex and the crew. I was looking for a roll off dumpster truck for about a month before I saw that TLC had something similar to what I was looking for. I got on the phone and gave them a call and got in touch with Alex (I’m all the way in Iowa) immediately made me feel comfortable and was willing to help with anything and super knowledgeable on the product. 2 weeks later I flew down and the experience got even better in person. had a great time talking to Lester and Alex showed me all the features on the truck and how to properly operate them. Great people to buy a tow truck from, however I bought an International 2022 put a deposit on it and because all the problems and delays at the plant it took 7 months to get my truck, I felt lucky when I received the call that my truck had arrived at the dealership but instead of a 2022 they had a 2023 and this one came with a price tag of ten thousand dollars more..I feel they should've honored my deposit and the original price I purchased my truck for and waited so long for.
Lester kept me informed on a regular basis of the updates on the truck and when I arrived at the dealership they had everything ready for me to go.
It only took 30 minutes to get out the door.
I'll probably come back to buy another truck from them by fall of this year.

As a customer who came from the Commercial Truck Business I will say this- Sales sells the first truck; Parst & Service support sells every truck after that. TLC gets this. The service after the sale that we receive from their knowledgeable parts department is outstanding. Last week we needed a part for our JerrDan Side Puller, the parts department was not only helpful but made sure we had the part the next day! I appreciate all they did.
A couple years ago I was in the market for a new flatbed tow truck . I called and went to so many places looking to purchase a new truck . Each time the sales ppl didn’t give me enough information or mislead me that I almost gave up . Until one evening I was browsing social media an ran across TLC towing equipment. It was late that day so I decided to call in the morning . The moment Lisa came on the phone her energy was amazing on so many levels . When your buying a 90 thousand dollar truck not every sells person think you can afford it so they don’t want you to waste their time . Lisa was none of that , she was super nice and professional most of all she was human and understood I was trying to grow my business .
