Service is always above, and beyond. We have never had disappointment or concern. Drivers are always courteous, and professional. I've used Waste Management twice weekly for 15. years and never once had a problem. How often can one say that about any service. Always consistent, reliable, and professional. Wonderful company and employees
Higher price service. Can only use their cans which are $100. Refuse to take more than 2-3 bags on the day we are allowed to put out bags though was not specified as that in info from WM and the city of parkland
Review based on watching this mountain for my entire life in soflo:
-the intrigue and mystery to what’s at the top always runs through one’s thoughts. In the video here the secret is revealed!
-tell me what bird wouldn’t live here?? The only mountain in sunny soflo, all you can eat, with plenty of grass to graze in
-I can personally be a witness to waste management hiring bird trainers to fly their hawks, eagles and owls around this mountain to keep it free from too many birds flocking
-they have done a fantastic job of keeping all sides green and filled with life. I do wish they would make a monument, sign or maybe some art on one of the sides. Ya know, something to look forward to seeing on the turnpike or sample road
-I’ve always dreamed they would blow snow in the winter and let us sled it. If that’s possible my vote is in!
-they did post a “Hollywood” sign up there for a little bit that was supposed to be used for a movie
-I’ve called it mount trashmore my whole life and will continue too
WM is consistent and proficient. Communication is effective and often. Customer service appears to matter to the organization. Drivers are professional, competent, and friendly. Exceeds expectations.
I wanted to drop off a pickup truck load of palm branches so I had to chat with WM to find out if I could drop it off at Coconut Creek and how much the cost. The agent said I could but said you have to go there to find out how much. She said pricing is not available on Chat and you cannot call them. Terrible service!
They are prompt, thorough and courteous. I have only had an issue one time in twelve years and it was several years ago. It was because of a truck break-down and they were already on it and it was resolved immediately. You can't ask for better than that. The guys that make my neighborhood run are so friendly, they are the absolute best.
Waste Management does a fine service, and especially the drivers and staff are great. They are the only ones I interact with. Waste Management should actively educate people about recycling as too many neighbors do not do a good job
This company along with the county have a business... they are thieves. They can't charge $200 for throwing a door and 10 bags of tile. Unfortunately I live in Broward and I had no other choice, but in West Palm Beach they charge me $20, the most was $30 as a resident. But these went over.
Trying to do the right thing and play my role as a good citizen and bringing trash where it’s supposed to go. Yet they want to charge $175 to drop off less than 5 pounds in cardboard and will also want to charge you another $50 if you don’t have a hardhat and a vest. I don’t know any Resident that owns a hardhat and a vest to drop off some trash one time. I will not give waste management my business
Terrible experience. I'm a truck driver, I transport garbage and I go every day several times to unload at this place, it always takes more than 1 hour since the workers do not pay attention to their work and there is never equipment to stack the garbage. In addition, you take every 1 hour 15 minutes and they stop the entire operation if you are a member of this company and you want me to send you photos and videos, ask me with pleasure and I will send them so you can see the bad work they do here
The website stated residents can drop off waste on tuesday. This was my first visit and first time doing this. Only to turn up and it is on saturday and I found out from a sign in the front. Spoke to an employee at the gate and informed her of the issue and that the website had nothing noting pompano beach residents can only drop off on saturday. no assistance was provided. I drove 38 mins. That is 38+ mins of time I could have spent focusing on my business. It is a big inconevenience to residents who follow instructions from your website.
If you like getting ripped off to dump yard waste this is definitely the place for you. They just recently from what my bill reflects triple the price. People are rude at the front and only care about taking all the money in your pocket. Fact is that they need the landscape debris to put between the layers of trash technically they should be paying us for it. a bunch of scumbags
I'm a Pompano Resident and dropped off Bulk Trash there today. Everyone was especially friendly. Eric went out of his way to help me when my truck wouldn't start back up. I was VERY pleased with everyone's attitude and helpfulness. THANKS again :)
This is one of my favorite landfills. I love driving by and marveling at how we made this thing - just by throwing stuff away! Just think of all the stuff that had to get thrown away, to build this impressive landfill!
My one criticism is that the landfill is not open to the general public. It looks like it would be a great place to take a mountain bike.
City of Pompano Beach residents are able to drop off for free on Saturdays. It took asking 3 people where to go. The man at the weigh station was not helpful at all and was a little short with us. But after a tour of the dump, we found where to go. Once there, Brian and Nicholas were especially helpful. More signage would be helpful, especially for first timers like us.
They always come, not always at the same time. The guys are very friendly, wave and even makes funny faces and joke around with the kids. Good for them!
