I’ve been using refurb’d Interstate batteries for the past decade on my business’s 3 vehicles. Why everyone in S. FL doesn’t know about it?- has always seemed CRAZY to me.
“Is it intentional?”
“Do they like being ‘boutique’?”
“Don’t wanna lose that- hip, underground, word-of-mouth vibe?”…
I’ve no idea.
Before today, I’d been getting them from Rocco’s in West Palm Beach. A long drive north.
I didn’t know there was a spot in Pompano until today. Score.
We brought our Interstate battery to be exchanged under the 30 month warranty, they told us the battery is fine, that it just needed to be charged, so we took it for a second opinion and found its a shorted cell and can't be charged lol, I guess Interstate battery does want to honor the warranty
Best car battery but lack of customer assistance, FYI you Must remove your battery & installed it yourself. Don’t forget to bring your own tools they don’t provide or assist any of them to you.

Mike offered me a remanufactered battery for $46 instead of new for $152. In Florida the batteries only last 2-3 years anyway, so it was a great deal. These guys are great AND honest.
My experience at Interstate battery was phenomenal. Mike the warehouse manager was very professional and respectful. He went over the pricing with me and found me the best battery that suits my needs. He gave me a refurbished one practically brand new. Told me there was no need for a new battery. He saved me so much money! Thank you so much for the great service and care! Will be coming back and recommending all my family and friends.
Total fraud they took my under warranty battery to test it and of course they did not, Friday they told me let us check the battery and we are going to call you to either replace it for you since its still under warranty they never bother to call or check the battery today i went to get the battery back they told met that its bad and the warranty is expired I took the battery to another interstate location and they told me the battery is under warranty and it just needed charging This is bad for everybody This is not the way to treat customers, we pay for your products and you are trying to defraud us and from what i see in reviews its just business as usual for you
Worst non service that I've ever had with this brand. They have me some runaround story about how they can't treat the batteries at their location. REALLY !!!
How is it possible that a battery supplier can not test their own product. Dad that this iconic brand has fallen to such lows.
Several weeks ago I needed three trolling motor batteries for my Ranger Bass Boat, I called up Interstate Battery Systems of Coastal Florida and spoke to Jeremy, he advised that the batteries I needed would be coming in on the next truck in a few days. Several days later I received a phone call that the batteries were there, when I arrived, the staff was very friendly courteous. I would recommend Interstate Batteries for whatever need anyone has, Thank You!!!!
I run a Charter Fishjbg business and my boats starting in the morning is key! I only have interstate batteries in everything I own. These guys have gone above and beyond to keep me running. They have even delivered batteries to me just to get me going. That means a lot when you’re trying to make a living!!
On Friday, 11-16-2018 a friend of mine was in desperate need of a battery and didn't know who to turn too. I called Interstate Battery System and spoke to Jeremy, he advised that they had a battery comparable to what she needed. That afternoon I arrived and was greeted by a friendly office staff that was very courteous and professional. They have just about every battery you could possibly need for a car, truck, boat,or golf cart. The 12 volt deep cycle battery for my golf cart was kind of expensive ,but they had them in stock and I didn't have to order it and wait for shipping. Picked it up that day

Bought a a battery 18months ago at Tamarac location.. to my surprise place is now closed down..went to Only dealer in town pompano.. they test battery behind closed doors. And say is only 30% charged .won't honor 5yrs warranty on battery sticker.. say is only 2yrs replace.. never showed me test results on battery .. treid to sell me a used battery instead. Horrible customer service guy won't even look me in eye when talking. Lying through his teeth.. said old store most likely sold me a year old battery on self and Closed Down... Never buy Interstae they are Horrible.

It was a Wow experience. Went in they tested my car battery gave me a new one. No problem . It was great. I'll always go to interstate for all my batteries.
I spoke with Jeremy over the phone and he was very nice & helpful. When I met him, he was very professional and even nicer. I would recommend them to anyone. The lady in the front office was pleasant as well.
The day before Hurricane Matthew hit my car battery dies the same one that I bought from here 3 months ago that was a Wednesday. Today's Friday and when I call to figure out how to apply my warrenty the person who answers rudly tells me I have to wait till Monday, I should have known better because the day I bought the battery they were rude. Story of the day the little extra money you save here it's worth it.
