I was a first-time seller today at this recycling center. There are many warnings posted outside, but no clear instructions on what you need to do to sell your metals. I just observed what other drivers were doing and followed their lead. Here are some steps to help you navigate the process:
Arrive at the entrance of the building.
Head to the west side of the building and pull onto the scale on the side facing north.
Park on the scale and wait for the machine to issue a weight ticket.
Once you have your ticket with your gross weight, the gates will open, and the green lights will signal you to drive forward.
Drive around the yard until you find similar metals on the ground. I had stainless steel, which was easy to spot.
Back into a designated unloading area and unload your materials. I had about 1,500 lbs, so it took some time to unload by myself. If you have a larger truck, there’s an area where employees can assist with unloading.
After unloading, drive to the second scale, located on the easier side of the building near the south-facing exit gate.
Wait for the machine to issue another ticket. Today, I didn't get a ticket because the machine was out of paper, but an attendant recorded my weight and told me to go to the main desk, which is an outside window.
At the main desk, give them your ticket(s) and ID if requested. They will then issue a payout receipt.
You can then go to the nearby ATM, press the side button to turn it on, scan your ticket, and the ATM will dispense your payout.
That’s it! I spent about an hour there today, and I was happy with the amount of cash I received. Good luck!
I gave 4 stars because there were no instructions for new sellers. But the guys inside answered all of my questions with a smile so I will return soon.
Came Here today, waited on the scale for 30 minutes, nobody said anything, NOT a sign nothing, drove around, I asked one of the employees if they were open, he said computer problems, I just think is disrespectful, as of the same company in fort mayers, are much efficient and professional, by the way Go to SA recycling, from now on they have my business !
Recently switched over to TMR pompano for all types metal recycling I have. Very professional and fast paced yard. Employees knowledge of processing is excellent. I had some car rotors and brake pads I wanted to get rid of but I didn't want to throw them in the trash since they where made out of steel. I found this place doing a Google search. Everyone I talked too were very nice and helpful. Also made some money from recycling.
The experience I had was pretty bad I didn't see a sign posted stating what is the rules what is and what ain't the people's was real rude it was only one young man there that was pretty polite I don't know whether he was a manager or whatever he wasn't there the second day I came but the experience was pretty bad if I had to do that every day I'll find somewhere else to go
My first experience there was actually very pleasant. All the workers seems very professional and personable, and they were very nice and explaining how procedure was done on their property since it was my first time there. I will definitely be going back there to recycle my metal. I highly recommend this place.

The guys here are awesome and help you understand the way to drop off your metals for most money joel is a cool weight master and makes sure you get the most money paid for what you have highly recommend this scrap yard
Website says open until noon. At 11:45am person behind the glass said they were closed! Went to their competitor 3 minutes away, Capitol. Friendly and helpful!
Great place to scrap steel. The whole yard is concrete and you don't get muddy when it rains. There's always an operator on the claw crane to unload you, and the prices are decent.
