For the first time, my boat would not start. I was at Lake Boca and called. The captain got to me within 20 minutes, helped me get my boat started right away. Very polite and knowledgeable. So glad I have the service.
On Saturday I was out on my boat with my wife on Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach. My engine suddenly stopped and I couldn’t get it back to start. I called up TowBoat U. S. and spoke to dispatcher Mariah. I explained to her my situation and she was great. Less than 30 minutes later- I had Captain Nicolas arrive and he towed me very carefully to Complete Marine to have my boat fixed. Excellent and professional service

Hats off to Nicolas. Even though my tow was short, it was complicated be rather high winds blowing in different directions through the various canals that he had to navigate. He put my boat perfectly into the repair facility's slip. He showed up at the exact time that we had scheduled for the tow which was a day earlier. I have been a member of Boat US since 2001 ! It is the best feeling to know they will be there if you have an issue on the water. I've never had to wait over 20 minutes at any times over the years. They towed a 62-foot trawler back to a very tight slip that had lost all steering. The whole thing was flawless. Great response time, great tow and they were incredibly skilled getting the boat back in the slip. Thanks for the great service.

I had the pleasure of being assisted last night by Captain Gabriel Berube on the New River, and I can’t say enough about his professionalism and skill. It was a very challenging situation – dark, tight conditions, and not easy to navigate – but Captain Gabriel handled it with absolute expertise. He arrived right on time, communicated clearly throughout the entire process, and made me feel confident and safe. His boat handling skills were top-notch, and he got the job done smoothly despite the difficult circumstances. I highly recommend Captain Berube for anyone in need of a towboat captain.
Amazing service! Very professional, great Captain. He handled the boaters, that won't slow down and throw a 4 ft swell, inn a way that would not put stain on either boat.
This was my first experience being towed and using Towboat US on the water. Needless to say, it is never a good day when you are getting towed! However, I cannot say enough about the professionalism of this team! Capt. George and Raymond took great care in communicating with us before, during and after the tow. Just had my boat towed from my dock to my boat yard yesterday 2/13/2025. I'm a Boat US member and fortunately had the gold tow plan. The tow captain was Alfonso Romero. He called me prior to pickup to coordinate, arrived right on time. I live in Wilton Manors and we have challenging tide and bridge clearance issues that had to be dealt with. Alfonso expertly hooked up and maneuvered my boat with great care and did a masterful job docking my boat at the yard right onto their forklift. Great service, and made what I thought a challenging tow, handled with ease. My hats off to Alfonso a true marine professional!
Had a belt break in the ICW today and was sitting DIW until I could wave over a sheriff to pull me to the side. I have a towboatUS account and once I was moved out of the waterway was able to get great help from George. George locked me in, gave me the contact information for the hotline to skip all the busy work teleprompter. I was able to lock in my tow within a few minutes. Once we got underway, I was told I would get a second boat to finish the tow for George had to patrol the inlet for emergency tows. I was then passed on to John. John got me back to my slip in a tight waterway up the Dania-Cut. Once we arrived to the slip he effortlessly maneuvered me into my slip around multiple boats and boat lifts. He was definitely very experienced! John and George were both very professional and I highly recommend using TowBoatUS. Great service and a life saver! Thank you!

The batteries were both dead after being out all morning. Tow Boat US captain showed up. Very professional and a very skilled tow captain. Tried to jump start with no luck so towed us in Port everglades and we had a very pleasant ride all the way home 3hrs later right into our slip with no issues and signed & off he went. Boat stalled out due to water in fuel? I immediate called Boat US after adding this second boat a few days earlier to my policy. They answered immediately, professionally and excellent communication. They were there within an hour all the up the Dania cut off. Absolutely fantastic service.
My IP 27 sailboat had engine failure on the ICW just north of the Hillsboro Inlet. I hailed TowBoatUS on channel 16 and they answered immediately. Within 10 minutes the towing vessel skippered by Alex arrived and had us in tow. I explained the location of my dockage, how narrow the canal was, and how there was minimal room to maneuver. Given a north wind and going south in the canal to my dockage, Alex concluded that there was too much of a risk for damage to my and surrounding boats. Alex came up with a brilliant idea and rafted my sailboat to his vessel going backwards into the canal. See the attached picture. Alex's execution was perfect positioning the sailboat safely at dock and oriented in the correct direction. Alex deserves special recognition for his creativity and willingness to listen to my feedback.
The first time use towing service. Filled bad quality gasoline on the marina and both engines shot down. Called number on membership card and get response quickly and professionally. A few years back I bought a beautiful 52’ Creekmore that has been neglected for 12 years. I’ve been paying for Tow Boat US service ever since. Never used it until this season. This season I’ve had the exhaust fail twice and went aground once. I’ve never waited long, the captains are excellent, it is like having an ace in the hole when things go wrong. This last problem required a tow from Ft Lauderdale to Pompano and two boats to get us in our slip. Awesome service! Don’t leave the dock without it!
We have had Boat US for a few years and had to use their services yesterday for the first time. Our 44 ft. motor yacht needed to be towed to a boat yard that also required a 24 hour notice to access the SR 84 bridge. The logistical challenge for us was a bit unnerving. When we called the company, we spoke to Gillian, who answered our questions and allayed our concerns. She said they would handle everything from notifying the bridge and even the boat yard. A huge relief! As for the tow itself, Captain Ian Crochertiere was one of the best captains we have encountered in our 27 years of boating. It was not an easy tow, and Ian made it very smooth and efficient. Everyone we spoke to at Boat US was great, including Stacey in the office who took a follow up call. What was a stressful experience for us became a very pleasant one. Had to write a review. They are the best!
As a licensed US, Coast Guard, master captain, I feel uniquely qualified to point out the incredible professionalism and excellence carried out by this company in helping me move my boat through the new river in Fort Lauderdale for repairs to HarborTown. The difficulty of forward and stern tow in tight situation with passing towboats building winds and less educated boaters was remarkable. Nothing but the highest respect. Well learn.
We realized we would need a tow up the new river in Fort Lauderdale when leaving Bimini. We called ahead and Russell and the Tow Boat US Ft Lauderdale team met us in the river on time as expected and flawlessly towed us home to Marina Bay Marina. Thank you so much highly recommend we’ll use again if needed.
Tow boat saved us when we lost a turbo we just had serviced, shutting down our steering motor on our 80’ motoryaught. As luck would have it we also lost a fuel pump on 1 of 2 outboards on our tinder that was serviced 50 hours before it went out. My family was stranded 120+ miles from home, near the north west shoal. The Captian called Tow Boat who didn’t hesitate to send 2 Captian’s and a tug within hours. They left that evening and met us at 7am the next morning. The tow was 20 hours back and our entire family made it home safe thanks to these guys. I recommend that anyone who boats get the gold unlimited membership, the entire tow was covered and it save us 10’s of thousands. I must say it was the best 200$ I’ve ever spent. I will renew it every year for life. Thanks again guys!!!
