Well, on Saturday @2PM I arrived an hour b4 they close as per their hours online and get here at the guy at the counter was rude ignored me until I yelled at him thru the crack of the door, “can you get me that alternator” I talked to you prior to see if it was in stock. Now Their closed tomorrow on Sunday and have to rent a car for another week cause I work the work week and don’t have time to do it only on the weekends. Killing the small guys. And I worked with them numerous time in the past.
Buyer beware they will quote you one price over the phone and a different one when you come in person. They don't know what they are doing. I got a quote for $250 for a 4 Seasons compressor and he said the $14 drier needed to be ordered i could pay over the phone. I told him I would call back. Two days later i call bavm with my card to order someone different quoted me $286 for the same 4 seasons compressor and told me the drier was instock, it didn't have to be ordered I could just come pick it up.
I walk in today they said it's over 400 dollars but I could get a rebuilt one for less.
I never asked got rebuilt parts or discounts just the fair price. These clownd wasted my gas and my time. Crooks
Thank goodness for wholesale parts suppliers like Save-On. Way better and more knowledgeable staff than the typical chains. Been going to this place for decades.
My daughter Erica Smith, told me about Savon Auto Parts. I bought a radiator far cheaper than the comps also a baterry n alternator. For far less cheaper n now I'm lookn for a radiator cooling fan n kit for my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica 3.5L. I kno I will be satisfied!
I've been a repeat customer of Save On Auto Parts off Dixie Highway in Pompano Beach since 1992. I have many choices for automotive and industrial parts, fluids, and oil - but overall the prices have always been competitive - trust I price shop. They seem to pull parts from all over the tri-county area and get it delivered the next morning if it's not local. If you set up an account they'll quickly bring parts to your shop or established business. Best I can add is that the sales crew does not seem to rotate. They keep a good group of "Parts Professionals" and they are trustworthy and Save On Auto Parts loyal. Good group to know over there.
