Called on Wednesday to get the details as I have a 2021 KIA Rim that’s slightly damaged. Was told bring it and would give me .60 cents a pound. Today is Saturday I drive over first thing in the morning put the Rim on the scale to be told over and over “No Good” and then we don’t accept that even though it’s all over your social media pages that you take car parts. Wasted my time going out here after being told you would accept it. I would give no stars if it was an option.
Place used to have the top prices in the area, ever since the old man left it’s gone downhill, bottom prices, paid me for Fe (periodic indicator for iron) instead of aluminum, and when confronted about it, said it was because there were iron screws present in some of the aluminum pieces. Won’t be coming back, stay away and go to capital or SA.
The sarcastic redneck that runs the front desk needs an attitude check. He was appalled that I was following the wrongly displayed signs for the scales and then became very snarky with me when i mentioned that the way he engaged me was rough. Not the only game in town, I went to SA recycling instead.
I agree with the other reviews, this is by far the best yard I've been to in Broward. Organized, good people and didn't try no funny $hit. I like doing business with honest people.
Don’t like that I can’t see how much my scrap weighs plus they add more scrap on scale with my other scrap and then says what did the last stuff on the weight
These guys are by far the best scrap yard in Pompano. Awesome service and they even unload your truck for you. No one else does that! Thanks Kyle and Dave!
We've been a customer here for almost 10yrs. Since the old man left this place has gone downhill. Saturdays they advertise open until 1p. Two weekends in a row they've been closing at 12p. Went today and saw once again they closed early. We were about to leave and one of the guys yelled for me to come in. Made a u-turn with my tuck and trailer only to have a guy run out the office yelling and screaming for me to leave. We've always taken care of the guy in the yard who do their jobs very well. Unfortunately management doesn't have the same standards. CAPITAL SCRAP PAYS BETTER AND HAS MUCH BETTER SERVICE!!!
