9-30-25: They're OUT OF BUSINESS as an auto parts salvage yard. A place in Philly bought the company, their Delaware #, and entire inventory so you can still call to find parts but the location in New Castle, DE is no longer a junk yard, it's just a scrap yard now. The guy was very helpful though because he found in his computer a hood that I needed at a Milford DE junk yard.
I had a 40 year relationship with little Jimmy’s, the Loneys and a price of $350 is insulting. I know the business!

This place is horribly run and terrible customer service. This new guy who calls himself Sam gets in customers faces, calls them ignorant rude names, and treats everyone as if he's better than them. I was told over the phone the part for my car would be $50 but when I got there he was in my face saying that it's $125 and if I don't like it I can leave. The whole time he was looking down his nose at me as if i stunk. DONT GO HERE THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE GARBAGE!
Had a great Experience with DAS The yard guy very helpful in a pulling multiple parts for me. The girl behind a desk very easy on the eyes & personable ,helpful walked me in the back to eyeball the parts.
They offered $300 to salvage my car. Three weeks later I have not received the check. All they will tell me is "it was supposed to go out we need to ask the accountant." Then nobody ever calls back.
Edit: the clerical error on their end was fixed and they gave me an extra fifty bucks for the delay.
Don't buy anything from here with glass unless they confirm the glass is still there or not cracked. I just wasted an hour and a half driving to find out the door mirror I came to pickup was missing the mirror (even though the picture online has the mirror).
Walked into front office. Five people working. Stood there and waited for five minutes. No one said anything to me. A simple (we will be with you in a minute) goes along way. Ended up just walking out.

My car is at a lot that charges per day and they have not gotten back to me in three days. I’ve called them multiple times and they won’t even pick up anymore. I now have extra storage fees because they refuse to communicate.
Worst place to get parts. First rudest people in the world. Bought a starter with a 30 day warranty. Took to my local mechanic to get installed and what do you know doesn’t work at all. So I was charged 100$ for that. Then had to order a new one and pay another 100$ for that to be installed. I then called the junkyard and guy said well nothing we can do. We might give you a small refund if I bring it back to them and then hung up on me three times in a row when I called back to get my refund. Seriously avoid this place at all costs. Also waited in line for about 45 minutes to even get the part and was ignored , I should have left right then and there
Very rude people, came one day at 4 and was told to come before that time. When they close at 4, the man in the front was very short with me and dismissive. So I come back the next day, drive another hour to the location, I arrive before 4. Once again he was very rude and dismissive, acting as if he didn’t want or care for my business. I wait for them to pull the hood that I need for about 15 minutes I’m then waiver over and told that the hood I needed was smashed. Even though I called an hour in advance letting them know I was coming. Very disappointed
I recently purchased a motor from this company in August. The engine was bad and I reached out to this company to rectify the situation. They took 2 to 3 weeks to respond to my email on Ebay. I finally got a response and we agreed to a $100 refund to fix the bad cylinder. Today is Dec.18 2020. I have yet to receive my refund for repairs. I asked Ebay to step in and my refund still as not arrived. TERRIBLE BUSINESS FROM THIS COMPANY. NEVER WILL I RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY.....

I called about getting a rim and tire. The guy said come on in. I asked how much? He said $50. When I got there he called a guy and said to bring it to where I was parked. I waited and then the guy asked to be paid. I paid him. Upon closer examination, I noticed that one side of the tire was bald. When I asked to exchange the tire, I was told that he warned me more than twice that they came as a pair. I was never made aware of this.that guy is a liar/thief. They don't guarantee their parts. Very disappointed
I purchased some auto body parts for a vehicle of mine. I was able to search the parts I needed online. I am located about 2 1/2 hours away and they gladly pulled the parts and had them ready and waiting for me. The parts were what you would expect from a salvage yard. Very prompt service and professional staff. I am very happy with my experience here. Thank-you all.

I would have given them no stars if that was an option, the staff is very very unprofessional, disrespectful and rude and cannot follow through on their word to save their life and am surprise that the state of Delaware let them operate. After being promised that my order was going to get shipped the next day I called them two days later as a courtesy to see if my product was shipped to my surprise it wasn't, I was told that maybe they might get to it the following day my product wasn't shipped until that Saturday of that week. My product arrived with broken and missing parts and it looked like it has been in collecting dust sitting in their yard, after speaking and sending pictures to management about my dismay and them confirming their false advertisement decided to give me the run around like they were busy. Please proceed with caution.
I called last week about a bumper for my car. I called after hours so I didnt expect anyone to answer, I was just gonna leave a message. Someone did answer but it was so loud in the background I couldn't hear them. I said "I'm sorry it's really loud I can't hear you" and the second time they responded I heard their answer and it sounded like they were really annoyed and rude at the fact they had to repeat themselves. It was so loud it sounded like they were sitting in the middle of a bar people screaming and yelling and top of that they got annoyed when I asked them to repeat themselves as if i was the one being inconvenient. The second place I called they were much more friendly and answered everything I needed and gave me everything I needed at a reasonable price! Matter of fact is I much rather have had to leave a message than to talk to a rude man that answered the phone. I am also glad they didn't have the part cause of how old my car is it would have been easier to just get the bumper from this junkyard not knowing if anyone else would have had it and not wanting to go on a wild goose chase looking for the one I needed.
Delaware Auto Salvage is the place to go! They have very friendly and helpful workers. Everyone acts confident and knows what they are doing. They have a very clean office unlike other junkyards where you have to look down just to keep your conscience clean. I came for a Nissan quest motor from Lancaster county cause they were the cheapest. After looking at the motor I didn't like it because it was so greasy. I thought it might have an oil leak or something. I asked the gentleman if I could check out another motor on the shelf that was the same. This was was very clean. I asked him if I could have it the same price. But thought I would probably have to talk him into it . Without hesitating he said "of course you came all the way down here. I wouldn't make you pay more! I installed it for the customer and it works great. THATS HOW BUSINESSES IS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE. I hope this business will expand to the place where it has everything so I won't have to go to the other junkyads anymore that treat you like dirt and send you out the door.

Seemed to genuinely care about doing business and or helping me out. Some salvage yards I called either didn't answer at all or didn't even take a moment to check their inventory. Steve Mattucci is the man! When he didn't have what I was looking for in the yard, he went a step above and got me new parts. I got what I needed, when I needed and at a very fair price!
If i could rate this place with zero stars i DEFINITELY would. After explaining to them that my wheel was bent and causing a slow leak in my tire so i wanted to purchase a new wheel only... as my tire was fine. The man who answered the phone says he only had a wheel with a tire. I asked questions about the condition of the wheel and tire and he told me that he would give me a "good wheel and tire". When i got there he said "yeah so the tire isnt good and the wheel just has a little ding but you should be fine". I bought the wheel and tire and decided to get a second opinion at another shop because i felt as though something was not right. The gentleman at the other shop explained to me that the "ding" was actually another bend in the wheel and that the new tire is actually worse than the old one. Basically i would end up with another flat. I call das back and at this point you can hear the irritation in my tone as soon as i asked for my money back he became very hostile and hung up on me. I went into the store and no one acknowledged me i wasnt sure who could help me so i asked if i could have my money back and the manager begins to get hostile and argumentative at one point he lunged towards me as if he wanted to hit me. Long story short the service was terrible. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!
Steve is rude. How can you guys not get in touch with each other tip find out your eta. I understand your running a business but without customers like myself (who never disrespected you.) You would have no business. I'm never doing business with you guys again.
Always bought used parts here since I was a teen. Staff is usually friendly and the prices are decent. It's unfortunate that they lost a lot of inventory some years ago when there was a huge fire in the yard. But if they have it, I recommend trying here first if you're a junk yard parts kinda guy.
Stupid ...they answer the phone and all that comes out of my handset is stupid. All I was looking for was a mirror for my car they told me they only sell the whole door. Like come on! And they don't seem to think there is something wrong with that. Totally unfair why should I have to buy a door for a stupid piece of glass for my mirror ? You just lost any further business from me. I would not feel this way if the person answering the phones actually had some customer service skills and showed some concern for my issue.
Rude just plain rude .... I used to use them years ago and they where great .... But within the last couple year the have went south not sure if management changed or if family has took over whatever has happen these new people need to be taught some customer service , respect and how to talk or treat people who are helping keep ur business ru,ming face face conversations are just belittling and phone calls are just plain rude I just don't understand how a very well known company that was so very friendly and helpful could go from professional to just straight unhappy people who portray that they are being bothered by business from some very long customers ...... And so its known I never even let the newer people know I have ever been a customer before wasn't not looking for a break from them .... And I surely did not play into There rudeness I just left it alone and went to another place that was quoted cheaper price ..... Just thought that hopefully a owner or someone that matters there will see and take the time to retrain .... Or speak with the employees....
Very helpful, knew what I wanted even though I gave a terrible description. Worked with me to find the best deal. Accommodated me even though I showed up off hours. Will definitely be going there for my automotive parts in the future.
