My experience with this company was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The front desk attendant appeared more interested in flirting with my husband than providing proper customer service. When I asked for a copy of the company policy, she refused to provide it and became dismissive.
What made matters worse was that she quoted my husband a completely different price than the one she gave me. This clearly shows that she was overcharging me, since she wouldn’t have the authority to give a “discount” if her original price were legitimate. I was charged $15 more per day than what was stated on the paperwork, which makes me believe she may be pocketing the difference.
Flirting with customers—especially in front of their spouses—and giving inconsistent pricing is unprofessional and unethical. This type of behavior reflects poorly on the company’s integrity, and I strongly suggest management look into these practices.
The cashier was too busy flirting with customers instead of doing her job. She completely ignored what needed to be done and had a nasty attitude the whole time. When my wife tried to ask a simple question, the cashier was extremely rude and dismissive. Totally unprofessional — if she focused more on doing her job instead of flirting, people might actually get decent service. Definitely not a place I’d recommend.
Appreciate this company dedication to their towing/recovery service. I had a issue with a vehicle while in their service area. They were unable to assist me with my situation due to a booked schedule. But referred me to another local company. Even without being able to provide service they still offered customer service. Thank you.
First State Towing took care of me.
My Mom’s vehicle needed towing. First State was a recommendation from the service center that was going to perform the work. First State was professional. They took my order, they were upfront with what it would cost and they made me feel comfortable every step of the way.
The driver called me when he was in front of my Mom’s house. He called me again when she didn’t answer the door immediately. He was polite and professional.

UNPROFESSIONAL!! I was just simply calling and trying to see if a female works at that facility and as I’m explaining to him my story, he cuts me off and says “he heard enough” as if I was getting on his nerves!! So I told him that he don’t gotta be rude by cutting me off, then he gets mad and hangs the phone up on me!! So I called him back and told him I was gonna leave a bad review while calling him the B-Word cuz he sounded like one. I swear some people don’t need to be in business
Well, let me keep it plain and truthful. This company mistakenly towed my car from in front of my new residence by instructions of a non employee of my apartment managing company. I was told as well as listening to how this happened. Now, my apartment manager, did submit a list of vehicles that were to be towed but mine was not one of them. So, this is the kicker, FIRST STATE told the apartment manager that I would have to come pick up my car even though it was an error on their end. I have a disability and I was not able to get there. Hearing the conversation between the apartment manager and FIRST STATE my apartment manager demanded that they return my car. Oh, they returned it alright! They charged the apartment manager $125 to return my car that they mistakenly towed
Needed a part for my bmw this was the first salvage yard i called who was actually patient with me and helped me find the exact parts i needed i drove to Delaware from Philadelphia i and when i got there the young man Jhonny had my part there waiting for me i will be referring all my friend’s to you guy thanks again jhonny for the wonderful experience
Arrived in the quoted time frame. A wonderful experience from pick-up to delivery. Lonny was the BEST! I had a stressful afternoon but once he showed up, I quickly transitioned into relax mode. Very knowledgeable about loading and towing motorcycles, which in not an easy task. He was more concerned about my bike as we traveled than I was. Undoubtedly, he went the extra distance. Very thourough and thoughtful. Thanks again!
First time ever having to get a vehicle out towing and every employee there was amazing. Extremely courteous, truck sat so long it need jumped… they jumped it for me let me start it and everything possible to ensure it was still in the same condition and ran just as it did when towed and that no parts were missing and even pumped up one of the tires that was flat. Extremely grateful for them to go out of they’re way to make me comfortable that all was well with the 94 pickup before paying a large 3k+ tow bill.
Great service! The customer service I received is the best! The woman who answers the office phone is a blessing to work with. Pricing is fair and the services are quick. Highly recommend!!
No good people work there. They have the worst attitude in the world. Went for parts waited over 2hrs and never got the parts dude came out and said he had no time for me that day after I waited 2 hrs
Please don’t call this company. First State STUPID towing. I will cancel that payment anyway! I paid how much you asked but Towing guy didn’t droped in right place. And you guys lost my key too.

I broke down on I-95 southbound and ended up blocking the entire right lane after the bridge. They were my first call and came in 20 mins and got me out of my sticky situation. Arty (manager) was extremely nice and guided me in the right direction and didn't put me in the lot and allowed me to keep my keys and stay warm in my car until my ride came which was 3 hours away. 5/5 would recommend.
Besides the little issue we had when we got there to get my daughters car, they were very helpful. And the driver who towed the car was so nice. He helped put a smile on my daughters face when she saw her car.
Service seems pretty friendly but I was giving inaccurate information over the phone which made it extremely inconvenient when I arrived at the location
Typical tow truck shysteres had all the paperwork from police whom told me all i had to do was go pickit up!! Uncooperative person in office was no help n told me the police lied!! He'd make it rite for $60 more now to complain to WD& WILM CITY COUNCIL
Picking up my stuff from a totaled car could have been made a little easier being that I was injured from the accident. I had to walk around way to much to get to the car, carry all the stuff back around the lot and building just to take it home.
My car was stolen and after it was found, it was towed here until I could be notified and all the proper steps could be taken. Bill answered all my questions and was incredibly helpful and sincere throughout my multiple visits. Hopefully I don't need to use their services again, but I would definitely suggest them!
Ridiculous and non professional. .8 miles from my house to a(n) auto repair shop they're charging me $85. I don't blame the company or the service but, I do blame the representive. Lucky I even gave you rate "dude".
Broke down and called the dispatch. They showed up under 30 minutes.
They gave me a ride home and then took my Jeep to the shop I wanted it serviced at.
