One of the few shops in the area that will and willing to work on hybrid cars and their batteries/electronics. Mohammad was great to work with and went above and beyond to help get my car up and running. He did research and found out one of my issues was covered under warranty and called a local dealership to get me set up which saved me a lot of time and money. Fast, friendly, affordable service. I would highly recommend!

I cannot thank this auto shop enough for coming through when I was stranded on a Saturday evening, just an hour before closing. I found myself two hours away from home, stuck with an engine oil leak, and feeling completely helpless.
Not only did they take me in with no hesitation, but they also went way above and beyond to ensure I wasn’t left stranded.They worked tirelessly to fix the leak and get me back on the road before closing time. I was so impressed by their professionalism, friendliness, and commitment to making sure I was taken care of, even on a weekend.
I truly felt like they cared about getting me home safely, and it’s rare to find an auto shop that would put that kind of effort into helping someone in a bind. If you’re looking for a reliable, honest, and dedicated team, I cannot recommend this place enough!
I have been going to Claymont auto ever since I’ve moved to Delaware . And everytime I go it’s for a simple oil change but they are so well spoken and take such good care of my car . My car is very old , and very bad . Muhammad talks to me, and communicates what goes wrong with my car, and how I can better it everytime . Today when I went for my oil change he listened to what I had to say and communicated effectively , with giving me tips and advice on my car which I appreciate so much . He understands the scam of car that I have , and how much work needs to be done and never pushes what I can’t afford on me ! They are mechanics that will talk to you !!!! And that’s all I can ask for with something so tedious ! Thank you Claymont auto for treating your customers like they matter and for taking such good care of our cars .

Mohammad and the guys are always so quick to get my oil change done! I wait no longer than 15 minutes & always get a good price! I recommend this place to my family and friends all the time! They also have seating inside, in the winter it’s always warm in the summer it’s always cool! Best place to come get your car worked on!

My first time coming here went in for an oil change and I must say…good service! I didn't make an appointment and they saw me within 15 minutes. There was one somethings I didn't like though, they seen my tires needed air and they weren't kind enough to put air in my tire. They didn't reset my car settings either and I'm not use to that.

Moved to Claymont 9 months ago, looking for a mechanic. Mohammad has been a great mechanic so far. He keeps it real and tells you the issue without the over charging that happens when you are a female. So far, he has been exceptional. I do all my car maintenance here. For the most part, I've had great experiences at this place. They are very accommodating in repairing your vehicle. I've been taking my vehicles to this shop for quite some time and Mohammed is patient in listening to the situation with your vehicle and speedily rectify the situation.
Great service! I came here after another place had my car for 2 days for a temperature control problem. They knew right away what the issue was and got it fixed quickly. Then they had to fix the screw up from the first place who thought putting too much freon in was the solution.
I'll never take my car anywhere else now!
Awesome service. I just did my model y tire rotation here. It only took 5 minutes, and they did the job well. I'm glad that i don't need to go to the dealer waiting for hours to get it done. Owner and staff here are all very nice. Highly recommended!
