Sorry for the long story but started about 8 years ago when at my summer home my car wouldn't start to go home on a sunday at 8pm. Neighbor gave me the home phone number of the owner of D H auto repair. He came to my home got my car started but said dont turn off until you get home. Got home safe. FFWD 9 years we decide to live at summer home full time. And naturally took our cars here. Recently check engine light came on for so.ethi g that was too big for his group. Recommended a dealer. Had it repaired, week later light comes on again. Dealer said bring to local mechanic.He fixes some loose or disconnected wires from the repair. Charged me nothing. Said he recommendation was ours but they messed up. Honesty!! Integrity! Pride in their work! Doug, Eric and Lisa are awesome.
Great service and honest people. I had an issue with my brakes and they found it to be a small issue. They took care of the issue fast and saved me a ton of money instead of just changing out the brakes that were still good.
On two different occasions we brought our cars in for major repairs only to find out they weren’t actually needed.
These people are super honest and the work they have done for us has been quick and reasonably priced! So glad we found them!
Doug is a really smart and knowledgeable mechanic, he also has a couple that work there that work on all types of vehicles, they specialize in American cars, I've never had a problem and he is stern and honest, doesn't BS, great place to take your car! 4 stars only because i can only deal with him, some staff is rude.
This is a fantastic garage in CT! My car had a weird light come on while I was driving and I pulled off the highway to stop here. They were about to see my car even though they were busy! The staff and mechanics were so friendly and helpful! They were super honest and explained exactly what the issue with my car was! Highly recommend!
We used this shop for the first time for a car repair. We had to have the car towed to the shop. They responded very quickly and came to get the car. The repair was done so quickly also. The price was very reasonable and the all the people we dealt with were great! Would definitely bring our car to this shop for other services and repairs!
Doug is our go to most excellent skilled mechanic. He can fix ANY thing. He is quiet reserved guy who does not up sell but clearly suggests what you may need.
Can not express how pleased I am with the service that was performed on my car. Took me in on short notice and very reasonable with pricing. Had a major electrical issue nobody wanted to touch. But Eric figured it out!! One happy customer here!! Thank you and would highly recommend this garage!!
