used to be the place to go but now it just seems like it's a real good place for all the cops to go. Not that I'm doing anything wrong but boy oh boy nothing like seeing police officers everywhere you look. PS I don't go there anymore..
The name has changed to Miami Beach. Beautiful private beach with beach houses around them. Clean but the food at the local restaurant can be very pricey. Nice drive there. Not packed during the week days. And the parking is much cheaper when you go earlier if you go later on the day. It can be pricey for parking about 30.00 just for 5 hours. Plan ahead before going. Weekend even crowded and pricey for parking space.
If you do not visit this place during the summer months for "The Original Beach Donut" you are missing out! It is 100% "cheat day" worthy! The blueberry donut is so amazing, my entire family loves them. They are on sale from 7-10 AM early, but, if you want to stand a chance of getting your pick of the bunch, GO EARLY! The volunteers are incredibly friendly and my sons both get a huge smile on their face every time we go. The raised funds also go to a great cause.

I came here on a Sunday morning with my boyfriend for a nice day at the beach. The public portion of the beach is somewhat small, so it's a little crowded on the sand. However there is a restaurant and bar right on site with some nice colorful beach chairs for anyone to use. Parking is done at people's houses for about $20 for the day.
The beach is nice clean, they are really strict about not alcohol in the area..(I like it) It's safe... it's so hard to find parking spot most areas are private, and if you ask the local residents they won't help you.. !! If you not leave here you can't park here!! But we did it, there's streets by the bars they have 20 dlls you can park all day ... it was great....
Bring your food, around just junk food and not cheap.
Cigarette butts everywhere. Drunk and loud terrible music. Cant bring in big coolers. Cops won't let you in if you have one. Not a place for kids, go somewhere else.
If I could give this beach a 0 star I would. The public area is small as there is a fence on the right hand side and a sign on the left to divide the area from public to private. For starters, they do not allow coolers over 5 quarts and the rude staff checks bags once you walk in for alcoholic beverages as it is not allowed. After we settled down we open our SUN POP UP SHADE since there were no restrictions online or on the board of rules, immediately security came over and stated that we have to take it down because they did not allow tents (weird because there was no mention of this rule and there was a person right next to us with an actual TENT and they did not ask them to take it down) after an officer came and basically said take it down or be escorted out (with the cops) we decided to take it down. Even after we took it down and the officer left security stood there just watching us making us feel very uncomfortable. At this time we had enough and decided to leave because it was too much unjust treatment. We went to use the bathroom before leaving which was DISGUSTING toilet tissue everywhere and urine on the floor and it smelled horrible. So, if you would like to go to a beach that has a small public area, the bathroom unkept, and rude staff then this place is for you ?
