Amazing shop Mike was extremely helpful and knew his stuff. Was in the market for new tires and he helped and had us ready to place our order in 5 minutes. It was one of the easiest experiences I have had buyin new tires in long time. Great shop great workers great experience.

Tires and oil change. Monro provided exceptional service. They are always professional, courteous and go above and beyond to make sure auto issues are resolved properly.
Originally I was going to get tires for my brother's car at Monroe Dec 29th 2025 they had a decent deal I had already paid for the tires and was going to get them done the next day but my brother decided he didn't want to go through Monroe so I went to get a refund they said 5 to 10 business days it's now January 22nd of 2026 and still I haven't received a refund I called my bank they said there is no pending refunds
So I am going to stop by today and see what's going on
This place is awesome! They were able to replace a damaged tire in the spot and went above and beyond to find one that matched the thread to the three other ones that I had bought six months ago. They were polite, efficient and professional.
Go across the street to a real mechanic like Firmins! Third time in a row that I have scheduled an appointment, shown up, and they either don't have record of it or make an excuse as to why they can't take me that day. I live locally and have consistently brought all 4 of my vehicles here for years. The work was already mediocre and over priced, but the location was convenient for oil changes and tire rotations. Simply a poorly operated business. Lost a loyal customer here.
This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.
I specifically called Customer Support before coming to confirm whether this location was open on Christmas Eve. I was clearly told that the shop was open until 3:00 PM and that I could come in.
When I arrived and stepped inside to approach the counter, a man immediately started yelling at me in an aggressive and hostile manner, shouting “Stop, keep your distance.” I was completely confused and asked what was happening, but instead of explaining calmly, he continued to shout, saying they were not working, that he had COVID, and that I was not allowed to come closer.
There was absolutely no respect, no professionalism, and no basic human decency in the way he spoke to me. No apology, no calm explanation — just yelling and commands, as if I were doing something wrong by simply walking into a business I was told was open.
When I mentioned that Customer Support confirmed they were open until 3:00 PM, he said he “didn’t know anything about that” and that he would call the manager to close the location
Went in for Rear brake service on my 2010 Ford Sport Trac. Rear pads were metal to metal. Technician checked front and found same problem. Recommended new pads and rotors. I had the tech do the work. Perfect results. I needed my truck and I was out of service center in 2 1/2 hours. Thanks guys.
I had a very positive experience here. Walk in with a flat tire, and the tech checked to see if it was repairable ( it wasn't).. and gave me several options, then replaced them in a timely manner..... 👍👍. Will use again
I can’t thank the team at Monro of East Lyme enough. I got a flat tire on my Tesla and couldn’t get an appointment at the Tesla service center for 2 weeks but I drive for work. The tires were hard to find, and the Monro staff found the tires I needed and brought them to me. I was driving again in 3 hours after I towed my car. I couldn’t believe how far above and beyond they went to get me back on the road quickly.
Sooo totally on point, honest, accomadatibg , ACTUAL CAR EXPERTS who want to help. Fair prices . Locally established. Samantha runs the show up front between customers and techs for her bro. the manager. Respect. 5 Stars.

Dented my car in 2 places and cracked the paint from improper use of the lift chalks, left my brake lines hanging under the car touching the exhaust, and DIDNT leave it in the initial report. They did me veryyyy scummy and dirty. If this had been an elderly person they would have not noticed and been crashed with no brakes come winter time. Easily a reportable offense to Motor Vehicle. Only giving 1star because they did their best to fix it, but fire the guy who "just doesn't like to do brake lines" before he gets your shop shut down. Now I have to scour for months to find a white skirt for my Saab. I should have walked when the tech said they transferred from Torrington 🤦
I had a great experience with Mike at Monro. My daughter was visiting me and needed to know what was wrong with her car. I brought her down to Mike at Monro in East Lyme. He diagnosed the problem right away and got her car running at an affordable price. I would recommend him because he was honest.
I have gone here several times and I can honestly say I have never met someone that would go through so much to do nothing.
It was be easier and faster to order patches but they’d rather give the business to other local companies so they get paid to do nothing. I had to go in again yesterday and the guy was just sitting at the counter when I got there. I needed my new tire put on that I had brought with me. He said they’re booked all week. I find that hard to believe when they didn’t even have a car in the garage. This place is gonna go out of business and it’ll only be bc he will do anything to not have to work. If you’re in East Lyme, don’t waste your time just go to the tire place in town
Very helpful staff. Very knowledgeable about the vehicle. They inform me of what the best way to give my vehicle care and maintenance. I always go to these guys when I travel. It's my One stop shop for my oil change and tire rotation.
Had an appointment with Monro in New London to get tires put on and they couldn't promise me my wheels wouldn't get scratched up which is completely unacceptable from a shop that specializes in tires. Anyway Monro in Niantic took my wheels in and Mounted my tires and they look just as good as they arrived! Great guys!
I work in the plaza where Monroe is located. I called ahead and they fixed my truck by the time my shift ended.
It was raining out and Chip drove my truck to the front door. Excellent customer service and quality repair work! You definitely have the right team working here.
Last weekend I had to stop here to get my tires checked and turned out that there was a nail in my tire and the rest were consistently loosing air, the tire was patched and I ended up purchasing 4 new tires to return during the week! Service was quick and my car feels so much better and there not much noise during my daily driving! I love the Cooper Endeavors!
I was on my way to a music festival in Bridgeport Connecticut and my low tire light came on. I pulled off an exit and entered this particular Monroe Tire. The gentleman that helped me was amazing he had me off and running and doing well in no time! He was so kind and really did a thorough job checking all my tires so I could be safe driving up into Connecticut further. Thank you so much Mike for a great job!

Don’t get an alignment here. These tires only had 23,000 miles on them on a 2020 vehicle and now they are trash. Had to by 4 brand new tires way prematurely ($900), Went back and they tried 3 times to realign my vehicle and failed. I brought it to the dealer for an alignment the next day and they completed it in 20 minutes. Now Monro corporate is giving me a hard time about reimbursing me for the original alignment, having to buy 4 new tires at 23,000 miles (original tires rated for 70,000 miles), and the alignment that I had to get at the dealer. This place is a joke and won’t take ownership of anything that they screw up.
I went for Rear Brake Pads and Rotors.
Had them done. Light sensor for AWD light came on. Called them, they advised me to drive it for another week to let it settle.
Couple week later, cam back and had them to reinspect. They claimed eventually is good.
1 month later on the same Rotors and pads were making noise and were red hot. Went back to shop, they wanted me to pay more.
I went to another shop to find out the service was incorrectly done. Flied a dispute for full refund with my credit card company.

Andrew was very nice and was easy to talk to, gave me a great deal on some GENERAL GRABBER tires for my 4x4 truck. the job was done right , with care given to my delicate wheels , the balance was right on
and rides smooth! i will definitely Be back again ! also got free rotation
