Rude wanted to have me pay for diagnosis of my alternator. When it squeals like mine the bearings are no good. Also wouldn't install the alternator I purchased from the dealership. Claimed it was my part. So if they purchased the same isn't there part ??
We bought an xc90 Volvo back in 2014. It had 110k miles. We had it checked out by European Auto, they gave the 2 thumbs up. Its now 2020 and the car has 185k, we just had to do basic oil changes, breakes ect. Great buying experience, great car experience. Thanks!
Replaced my radiator was happy with service and price, also wife and I test drove a couple cars they were selling (we didn’t buy) all nice people, I would go back.
I brought my car in here because it is an automatic car having issues with stalling at stops. The technician was very nice, looked the car over and suggested it was probably the throttle. I decided to go ahead with his recommendation (he is the tech after all) and asked him to do the spark plugs while he was at it. Fast forward two weeks and my car starts having the same issue, I called and explained the situation and they said drop it off and they'll take another look. I told them since my husband was away with the military it would probably be another week or so before I can drop it off again. Talking to others who have had this issue with the same car, they suggested it was the Natural Safety Switch. I called and asked how much it would cost to fix this. They said they couldn't give me a price and had to reexamine my car and charge me for that too. Again, no price on that. Then they told me I was the problem and demanded the issues was spark plugs now this... Wow.. I was just asking for a price. They have now lost mine and my husbands business, he previously has had a lot of work done on two of his cars there. Also, I will spread the word to our friends and family. Thanks for nothing!!!
Yesterday I took a visit to Pro Tek Auto after having some problems with my car. I was instantly impressed with it being Woman Friendly! As women so many times we are short changed because of the inexperience we have with cars and never want to go alone. Well I was able to leave my dad home this time lol. I was well taken care of and not only did my car get worked on Paul showed me and walked me through what exactly was wrong with my car and how to properly fix it. The environment was very friendly and warming. Before yesterday I didn’t have an Auto home to go to for my car issues. But I can no longer say that. I will continue to give Pro Tex Auto my business and will certainly recommend to others. Thank You Pro Tex Family for your wonderful service!

Long time customer is now Very Unsatisfied! Just found out that Paul's shop is playing games and grossly overcharging! Brought cars to these guys for years and now I'm wondering how many times did they rip us off? I wont be bringing cars here anymore, but if you choose to, make sure to get itemized estimates, and do your homework on what it really should cost! Then take your car somewhere else to check what work they actually did! They did all this with a warm smile and a hand shake!
Recently took our vehicle over to see Paul at ProTek and was surprised at the bill which was double the amount listed to complete the replace of one part. Had a small oil leak on a inlet tube which was a $40 part that needed to be replaced. Paul dug deep to the tune of over 400 bucks for an hour and a half of his effort. Not to mention we originally took the car there for just an oil change mind you and they didn't even accomplish that. It's very sad this establishment has to be so deceitful and misleading. Thanks so much Paul, really appreciate your customer service and competitive pricing.

I only take my car to Pro Tek. I know nothing about cars and I trust them completely. Through time I have found that they are now only trustworthy, the staff is friendly and competent. Also I am overly impressed by their community interests in Niantic. Keep up the terrific work!
Typically when my car needs work, I dread going to the mechanic. That is not the case with Pro Tek Auto! Courtney and staff took such great care of me and my car! The next time I break something, I will be back for sure! Thank you for the great, super quick service!!!!
Bought a used car there and after 4,000 miles 6 month the transmission died and the front axle broke. They would NOT honor their one year 12K warrantee.
