I stopped in to the groton location and Tyler was very helpful when trying to figure out my lights for my truck. He explained to me the difference between LED and halogen seeing how I wanted to shift from halogen to LED. These guys are very knowledgeable and helpfull!!!!
Great prices and good customer service but they are not mechanics don’t expect them to tell you what is wrong with your car, you should bring your own mechanic and just get the parts there or wathever you need.
On at least two occasions , I was disappointed to see a white delivery truck park directly in front of the handicap access to the door. Today I observed someone parked in the handicapped space unable to pull out from their spot due to the inconsiderate delivery man parked, blocking their exit route.
Workers have a poor attitude and most have no knowledge of cars... I'm confused how you hire people to work who can't even explain to you the difference between oils for the car.. yall gotta do better seriously...people vaping in the store including the employees..not a good spit to go to
It has car parts. I couldn't find the book with oil filter information, had to use the Internet. It used to be easy to find. But the appropriate filter was there along with my preferred synthetic. I also have been using this place for the past 25 years and it hasn't moved. So it's got that going for it. Which is nice.
Please take Note - This review is about AutoZone Corporate and their unsavory sales, bait & switch tactics to make a sale - Not the store! I was looking through all the local auto parts stores for a discounted price on an Oil & Filter bundle. the best one I found was at AutoZone which is about 15 minutes from my house. The store manager (?) helped me (Male, 30's, dark hair & beard) who was polite and friendly and went to the back wall and got the correct oil bundle for my car EXCEPT they did not have the oil filter that comes with the bundle. He was very helpful and offered to check all their stores with 20 miles and said that NO ONE had the high-performance filter that came with the bundle. So, I did buy the oil but had to go elsewhere for hunt for the high-performance filter. When all was said & done it cost me extra time and $25.00 more than the original bundle cost. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?? AutoZone authorized advertising a sale price on an oil & filter bundle they could Not fulfill just to get you into their store. AutoZone Corporate is going to hear about this!!

Store had the filters I needed and Ben was kind enough to help me change out the old ones. Took no more than 5 minutes. Ben was fantastic! This AutoZone is now my go-to.
I contacted the store about having some parts for my Chevy truck. Not only did they have the parts in stock, but the store manager Benjamin was instrumental to my success in changing the thermostat and temperature sensor on my truck. They were able to loan me tools and were enthusiastic about my success.
I needed a new battery in a hurry and these guys did not disappoint!
I had my kids in the car so I was able to do the whole transaction without leaving my vehicle which was super helpful.
Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable and courteous

As always an excellent autozone well kept well stocked. Even had the radiator for my 14 mustang. The manager at the time was very y cool saw me with my hands full and even carried my radiator to my truck. Thanos again ( guy with Rottweiler)
Bought brand new wipers from here a few weeks ago and when the employee put it on badly it cracked. Few weeks later they snapped off and broke. They laughed when I went inside and tried to explain what happened. I had wipers for 5 years before this and never had an issue. They expect me to buy new ones? Never going here again.
Walked in looking for a braided strap to run as a ground from my engine to my chassis. Associate asked me if I needed help. When I explained what I wanted he rolledhis eyes pulled me over tohis computer, saying I needed the specific negative cable for my year make and model. When asked why associate again rolled his eyes gave an audible sigh and informed me to "just go to oreillys, they have the part I need. I know my battery cable is fine. But this level of customer service is unacceptable. I'm not looking to replace a battery cable. I know what I'm doing he does not.
Horrible experience with one of the sales associates. Glasses, red shirt, sad fuckboy beard. Literally rolled his eyes and acted annoyed at our questions on multiple occasions.
The sales manager is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. They went out of their way to research the battery we needed. Very lovely and professional.

Great store, amazing employees. They went above and beyond for me to change my headlights. I came in a few minutes before the store was closed and I explained my situation and the employees were nice enough to change my lights for me even when they were clocked out. One even came in even though it was his day off, just to help. I appreciate this store and the employees very much. Thank you again!!!!
Miguel is a upstanding employee he went above and beyond the Groton AutoZone. I hope I got us name right lol he deserves a raise His name may be Fernando I’m not exactly sure. I have short-term memory loss I know this doesn’t have anything to do with it. But he is such a sweetheart! Not only did he help me put my windshield wiper on when it was raining he also help me get keys that slid underneath my stick shift. Now I call that a dedicated employee
Wish I caught the kid's name who helped me but he knew his stuff and went above and beyond. Whoever he was that helped me with my wipers on 12/14/21, he needs a raise. Great kid. Great service. Hire more like him, AutoZone!
I highly recommend that you try this location for your automotive needs. I bought a nee battery in and out new one installed in under 20 minutes. The fantastic customer service is second to none. Please make it a point to visit this location.
Hours before a snow storm, the battery on my van was really bad so I went to get a new one and I asked the guy to put it on. The battery attachment the black one broke, the manager came out in the 20 degree weather and replaced it at no charge. He took his time and made sure I could drive back home. I was so happy because I only have that vehicle, also I had to get back home to my children.
Amazing service! Went in to get a battery check. Took 30 minutes from the time I walked in the door until I drove away with a new battery. Extremely knowledgeable staff and they were so incredibly kind. I highly recommend this location.

Had a vehicle emergency last night right before close . Called ahead and asked if they could help me out Carlos and Sam were amazing. They had what I needed, for me at the desk ready. Even stayed open a few min after closing waiting for me with what I was assuming was a smile under their mask. Even refused a tip 5 star service !!
Visited 2 years ago for a battery with installation. Unfortunately the on board computer forgot how to idle the engine and my car kept stalling. Never having encountered thus I relied on the staff to tell me what was wrong. They said it was the alarm system. It wasn't. Finally went to a very competent mechanic who corrected the problem no charge.
There are many autosomes and they're very good to have around it's just that a lot of things that people need for their car they don't have so maybe they need to do inventory of things that they have and let's try to get everything that a person need for their car and then I won't have to go around looking for this stuff
Excellent service people are friendly willing to help you with wiper blades and pouring in fluids into your car the only thing is the prices are a little steep a quart of motor oil run you almost $9 some of them as much as $12 I got washer fluid one can of motor oil and 1 air filter for my car total cost almost $40 I think that's a lot what do you think
Desmond the newest n brightest employee was very pleasant and accommodating. Carlos the asst mgr also very plesant and went out of his way in explaining brake bundles! Will go back again!
I need windshield wipers and windshield wipers fluid in the begining of a Nor'Easter, the gentlemen who rung me out, went outside in the freezing cold, in the storm, attached the wipers and refilled my fluid, no questions asked. (Did all of that while telling me to get back in my car to stay warm!!!) They are kind, helpful and went out of their way to help me!!!
