Lombard Motors towed my friend's car and put up as much of a fight to squeeze as much money out of him and his insurance as possible. Marianne on the phone was needlessly rude and made it a point to make the process of getting his car back as painful as possible. They insisted they store his car in their lot despite being able to store it in our lot simply because the guy towing it was too lazy to drive the extra ONE OR TWO miles to the lot (which I'm wholly convinced is complete and utter bs made up just to get additional profit from storage fees). We tried going to the address itself but nobody was even there to help us. Getting info for insurance was unnecessarily painful and he's been without his car for about two weeks now because of these losers. A bad review is the best I can do but if it were up to me these guys would be out of business. We nearly had to call the cops because of how uncooperative these thieves were. To anyone in the future who's enduring these unprofessional behaviors: please don't tolerate it, don't be patient with these people, and get authorities involved. They don't deserve any of your grace because they WILL take advantage of you and your wallet.
EDIT: Just found out they also damaged his car while towing it. These people really can't do anything right.
Absolutely terrible. Had my car towed by them after I got into an accident. A few days later, the insurance claim is proceeding well and I just need to obtain pictures of my car. They wouldn’t allow me to access my own car, which they held in their lot, until hearing from insurance first despite me having the registration and insurance on my person. Insurance had no idea what they were talking about and nobody was present at the lot during normal business hours to help. The person on the phone was rude every time I called. My adjustor apparently also had a lot of difficulty contacting them and getting them to release my car, something confirmed by multiple separate adjustors. Additionally, they took so long to finalize the bill that, even after insurance and the repair center were ready to proceed, it took well over a week to get my car out of the lot and to the repair center. Worst of all is that I didn’t even want my car in their lot in the first place; they refused to tow it to the dealership or my apartment and gave the excuse that they were short-staffed that day. Please, for your own good, stay away from this place. I will be advising family and friends to do the same.
I’d give even less than 1 star if possible. Lombard Motors towed my husband’s car through a AAA service call. The tow truck operator and my husband had a conversation about the garage where the car was to be towed and where to place the key for the mechanic. It was an explicit conversation and we offered to drop the key off ourselves but our driver stated he could handle this; hence why we tipped him $20 as well. The following morning our mechanic called us trying to locate the key as it had snowed and he needed his lot to be plowed. Fortunately we had a backup key so we drove out there in the snow to unlock the vehicle and try to find the key. To our surprise the key had to have been somewhere in the vehicle because we could start the car once we we got in. We spent an hour searching to no avail. We went back and forth with Lombard to try to get a hold of the driver to figure out where the key was since it was in the vehicle and anyone could have just driven off with the car. Finally, in the evening they follow up with us after our multiple calls to tell us that the tow truck driver LEFT THE KEYS ON THE WINDSHIELD! This is beyond negligent and irresponsible. Tell us you don’t care without telling us!
Tow Driver Lawrence picked up my car at 10:34am.1/08/2026 then received Phone call from a nice guy name Tony from a shop asking why did I drop my car off today. Lawrence dropped my vehicle off at the wrong facility wrong address not even the same street. Its now 2:08 pm Thursday the 8th my car still sits in the wrong address on main st instead of chestnut st.

My car was Towed for the first time while I was in Walmart so I went to the address that's on Google and it's was the wrong address so that was about 20 dollars for a second Uber I had to pay. And when I finally got to the right place the white lady behind the desk told me $139 to take my car out she was rude and on top of that they damaged my car now I have to take my car to a mechanic smfh
My car is registered when they towed my car from where i live with the parking sticker in the window.. i go to pick my car up they tell me my car was unregistered... Lies. 3/1/25 is when mine expires... i show them their wrong .. still don't wanna give me my car.. unless i pay. These people make every excuse to keep your money they are thieves. And they should be put out of business if I could give them a negative -1 star I would. I'm Angry! More damage on my car than when they initially took it, head light broken, lights overhead no longer works... I don't have an expensive car or a new car... it's mine. but what I do have I wanna keep it in good shape, and they added an extra expense along with the fee. Now, I have to find someone to fix what they broke
I wasn’t sure if everyone was aware that there are restrictions put on Towing storage and hook up. They cannot charge more than $125 for a hook up and I’m not sure what it is per mile but you can look it up and they cannot charge $125 a day for storage, everybody should check up on the laws they can rape you your personal
All sort of bad words are ascribed to this company, shady, scammers, rudeness, lack of honesty etc. Don't ever get involved with them. They lie and do all sort of bad things to steal your car and whatever in it. I never recommend them. Stay away from this company.
I pray no one gets towed by this company. We were charged $565 just to tow the car 2 miles. No impound fee, no storage fee just hookup and mileage. They're robbing people and have the nerve to have an attitude. They purposely shut down early so they can charge you more for another day.
It takes forever to get a hold of them. They tell you something different every time you call about a car. Won’t even let you get your property even if you have proof of ownership of car. Idk how they’re still in business. Good luck if your car gets towed here
Unfortunately I was involved in an accident which was not my fault. Lauren at the desk was very polite and empathetic, as well informative. All in all I would give 2 thumbs up in this already difficult time.
It was bad enough to have had a car accident, but then these guys take my car and won’t let me see it or get my property out of it. Two trips and multiple calls, waiting and I still can’t get to my car. Terribly rude and dismissive as well. It’s MY CAR!!!
It’s a mission trying to get a hold of them. I’ve been waiting for an hour because no one is at the location. Person whom I spoke to said someone will be here in 20 mins. They want you to pay day day by day but no one is here.
