You won’t believe this! The headlights on my 2013 Nissan Altima were dim, and I could not drive at night without the highbeams on. I took it to the Nissan dealership, and was told the headlamps needed to be replaced at a cost of $1,131.48 for labor and materials.
I then took the Altima to Howie and Eric at Imported Automotive, and they inspected and found that the headlight bulb that was recently replaced,had been installed incorrectly, which they fixed, and charged me nothing. My Ultima headlights are now bright as normal.
Howie and Erik are honest, and know how to diagnose a problem properly.
Professional, fair, honest, decent guys. I brought a Mercedes and a BMW to Eric and he and the other guys solved my problems on my 20 year old cars. This team gives me peace of mind driving cars with over 200K miles that they keep running. They have all the solutions without breaking my budget. I'd give them 6 stars if possible!
Eric, Howie, and Rich are class A guys. This shop is one of the best if you want a job done properly you do not get the run around. They take their time and make sure to fix the issue. They have gone out of their way to help others on countless occasions. I highly reccommend them for any and all your automotive needs. My brakes have given me trouble for years now since the original oem brakes went I have changed them not once, not twice, but three times! Finally I can stop my truck without having my vehicle shake like it's in an earthquake. Thank you guys you are amazing.
Can't speak to their work, but absolutely can speak to the fact that they are excellent people. Locked my keys in the car at the Shell around the corner, and they came over without question to help me jim it. Absolutely will start bringing my cars there from now on.
I have been coming to Imported Automotive for my BMW for years, and can’t recommend these guys enough! Not only do they do amazing work, but their customer service is impeccable. They even warmed up my car for me when I told them I was on the way to pick it up. :)
Rich is the most knowledgeable person when it comes to anything automotive and his staff is just as good as he is.Honest - No BS, best shop you could go to in the area bar none hands-down!
There is not a more reliable and trustworthy mechanic in the area. It's that simple. Rich and his team are not finding ways to get more money from you, they are helping you find a solution to your problem that isn't going to leave you redeeming your empty bottles to afford the service. I was very fortunate to have someone recommend Imported Automotive to me, and since then I have recommended them to countless number of people. Absolutely the best!
I had my son's car inspected for college. They did an excellent job. The day before my son went to college he had a problem unrelated to any repairs they did and they fixed in while my son went for a walk in the park. No charge as it ONLY took them 30 min! That is friendly and appreciated. I made sure to 'tip' them the next time I was in for regular service! Thanks
Great shop for imports. If you are in a hurry this may not be the shop for you. But if want your auto diagnosed correctly and repaired for a reasonable price. Then this is where you should go. Rich and his staff are competent, honest and care greatly about their workmanship.
These guys are great! I was reccomended to go here by my father-in-law and every experience I have had with them has been phenomenal. If you are in the Trumbull, CT area and need professional, honest people to work on your vehicle, this 100% should be your first and last stop.
These guys are the best all around, Richie is the bomb he's seen it all with his experience in Automotive Repairs.. I'll be sending more work your way for sure..
