Chance at Trumbull Mobile Center was extremely helpful. My van wouldn’t start after pumping gas and he had to remove covers from underneath the driver seat to access the battery to be able to jump start it. Chance is extremely knowledgeable, kind and honest. Highly recommend the Trumbull Mobile Service Center! Great service in town.

So my wife and I drove from North Carolina to Trumbull Ct for a funeral when all of a sudden a very load and grinding sound started to emulate from the front passenger wheel. I felt uncomfortable driving my 2019 Ford Fussion any further and Mobil Trumbull Service Center INC. was the closest location. I parked the car and my wife approached then counter where James came out and looked at our brakes and pads to assure that it was not serious or dangerous to drive the car to the nearby Hotel. The following morning we brought the car back and they promised to have it fixed within a day. Not only they fixed the car in a day but also found that it was only a rock that was wedged inside the wheel mechanism making that noise. The overall charge was under 80 dollars. Thank you guys and gals for being professional, honest and reliable. My wife and I, especially want to highlight James for his oustanding customer service. Highly recommended 5 stars.

Trumbull Mobil deserves a 100 star rating. Their customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend them. Chance, who is the chief mechanic is wonderful. They also work on classic cars such as my 1960 Thunderbird and 1988 Bronco II. We also bring them our '06 and '08 Explorers. Steve, who is the owner has a fabulous team working for him.

I stumbled upon this place today. My truck was giving me issues on the highway and I managed to get off the highway over there. I pulled in went inside and one of the guys came right outside to help. Today was also 100°. I’m very appreciative. I plan on making them My new go to for auto repairs. They seem very knowledgeable and friendly.

I called from out of state for help with my daughter’s car. Steve quickly found my daughter’s car, where she had pulled over, and got it back to the shop fast. In less than two hours from when I called, my daughter was back on the road heading home. Fair prices and good communication throughout. Thank you Steve!

Helped me with my car with abnormal tire pressure on late night drive at around 8:30 PM in the way from Mass to NJ. Superb service attitude for the simple work and way better than the service centers on CT-15 by all means.

Took my old 60s Chevy in for an oil change since I don't have the correct equipment to do it myself (no garage either). Loved my experience. Ed was straight to the point about everything. Lucas, despite looking young, knew his way around a 53-year-old car. Price was very reasonable. They answered all my questions, and the atmosphere in the garage was very enjoyable. Even did a small check on my oil pan for free. Friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely return in the spring.

Excellent service! My husband and I have been going to Ed and his team for 10+ years for incidentals. Recently, we had a more major project done on one of our cars. Ed was great. He was always in communication with us and kept the price reasonable, as promised. Everyone in the shop is friendly and helpful. Definitely our go to shop.

I don't normally leave bad reviews but I feel compelled to share my experience and urge others to be diligent about what services you have performed here. I had a set of tires installed 10k miles ago, and alignment, and a oil change. 5k miles later during my oil change and tire rotation that my front tires needed to be replaced soon (3/32") and that I must have received 2 "bad tires" and insisted nothing was wrong with the front as it checked out during their inspection. They rotated the tires front to back as I had a trip I was leaving for that day. 5k later the fronts are now bad and need to be replaced and the car was making a clunking noise over bumps. They agreed something was wrong with the front of the car and I needed two new struts (60k total is on this car). I took it to another place in town where they replaced 2 sway bar links, aligned it (again), and installed a new set of tires. Trumbull Mobile refuses to take any responsibility for misalignment of the car originally or tires that lasted me 10k miles. Everything is hand written on their books which always creates confusion of why you are bringing the car in, in the first plac and Ed doesn't remember conversations you had with him an hour prior.

I had a wonderful experience with the staff at Trumbull Mobil. I rolled in with a flat tire on my way to work and Ed took care of me right away! He got my spare out in, my tire called in to be replaced and even gave me a lift back to work! They were prompt about repair and even gave my dog a treat while we waited. Amazing group of men, excellent service and overall pleasant experience! Thank God they were there :)

I have been using Trumbull Mobil Service Center for the past 24 months or so and have been extremely pleased with their level of service, responsiveness and pricing. Our family has a Nissan, Ford and Cadillac, all of which are 7+ years old and been services by Ed and his team. They are an honest shop. In fact, I recently brought in my Maxima due to a vibration on the front passenger wheel when applying the breaks slightly. Upon inspection, they said it required a new motor mount which is costly due to the hours required for the repair. I OK'd the job and they ordered the parts. When they started the repair and accessed the mount, they realized it was missing a bolt but the mount itself was in full working order. They went ahead and replace the bolt and were 100% transparent with me. Needless to say, Ed and his team will continue to have my business and I will continue to recommend them.

My wife and I are currently driving back from our new England honeymoon. We heard a rattling under our truck while driving through Trumbull, CT. We pulled off 15 - thankfully this gas station and service center was only a mile away. We got there and saw the cover of my catalytic converter dangling. I consulted the service center and Ed offered to pull it off quickly for $20. Even offered us a coffee! Five minutes later, Ed's coworker Chance walks out the bay to where we parked and found the cover had fallen off on its own. Ed charged me nothing. He wouldn't take my cash! I'm so thankful the issue was not bigger, but if it was I'm sure Ed would have helped us much the same with a smile. We're back on the road now, off to Jersey. Thanks, Ed and Chance!!

Ed, the service manager and his team are always willing to help with any issues I have. Ed is honest and accurate with all of the diagnostics. I have been using Trumbull Mobil for over 10 years and would never change. I honestly feel safe for myself and my family, driving any car that has been serviced by Trumbull Mobil. I brought my Mazda to Trumbull Mobil to be evaluated when its check engine light came on. Ed, the service manager, quickly let me know the on board diagnostic codes that my car was displaying and gave me possible reasons why my car was displaying those malfunction codes. I left my car with Ed & his team (Mike, Dan & Evan) to be further evaluated. Ed contacted me the same day with definitive reasons as to why my check engine light had come on, an estimation of the repairs that had to be made and the timeline in which those repairs could be done. I was pleasantly surprised when Ed called me to let me know that my car was fixed and ready to be picked up, as it was earlier than he had told me!

I went there last week. Was referred by a friend that they have great pricing on tires. I usually go to either town fair or order online from tire rack and not only did they match the pricing but also mounted and balanced them also. Double score!!! Great turnaround and no damage to my custom rims either. Very friendly and courteous and even had fresh coffee and pastries while i waited!!! Highly recommend them

I've been in Trumbull over 20 years. I have been using Trumbull Mobil almost since day one. I have never in all these years had a bad experience there. The service is great, they are very honest and always had my vehicles back in a timely manor with the work done right the first time. I trust them implicitly, never have they added work that didn't need to be done. All the workers are courteous and engaging resulting in a good experience. Steve has done a top notch job, and I would recommend them to everyone.

For 46 years Trumbull Mobil has been unequaled as far as reliability, competence, competitive pricing and under the guidance of their owner Steve Pastir, their employees are courteous, knowledgeable and just plain friendly!! In addition, they have the best deals on tires, brake service and everything for your gas, grocery and automobile needs!!

Customer service is everything! You will find it here! I was running by this service center (literally running, I did not have my car) and stopped in because I badly needed water - yet I had no money. The manager, Ed, was super nice and offered me as many cups of ice water as I needed. I was so thankful and promised a shout out - so here it is! Will visit this station many more times in the future, with money in hand!

My wife had her car towed to the station after the steering wheel started to shake violentlyl while driving on a rainy Sunday. Ed called me Monday morning and said multiple lug nuts were loose and one of the stems was broken off. He had it fixed for her the next day for a very reasonable price. Trumbull Mobil is a solid auto repair shop. You can drop your car off or pick it up anytime between 6am-10pm, which makes it convenient no matter what your schedule is. Mike is a really competent and knowledgeable mechanic and Ed does a great job of carefully and clearly explaining what procedures he recommends or has done on your vehicle. Everyone here is approachable and reasonable.

Ed and his team are honest, trustworthy, accommodating and efficient. It's rare to see a good, community business...however these guys are a true 5 star example. Do not hesitate to call on them for any of your car servicing needs!

I have lived in Trumbull for years and have purchased gas from this Mobil for years. I was always hesitant to bring my car in for service to any gas station -- just never did that. One day, I had a flat and had to bring it to the closest station. Instead of selling me new tires, they fixed the flat (for just a few dollars). That got my attention. Next time I needed work, I brought my car in. I have always been satisfied. Recently however, they went above and beyond and saved me $3,000!! My 170k pilot had every engine light on and for something big and serious like this, thought I had to go to the dealer. The dealership evaluated the whole thing and said I needed a new engine. I figured before I did that, I should have the local guys take a look too. They took the car and looked at it in detail. Instead of charging me $150 for a diagnosis (as did the dealership), they did that for free. I decided to buy their recommendation ($480) and my car is operating like new! No new engine -- just a fixed car. These guys are fair and honest and smart!! It's pretty rare that I write a review -- but these guys deserve it. Thank you!!
