My daughter-in-law and my son brought you their vehicle 2 days in a row they spent a lot of money The second time you should never give it back unless you test drive it and now why is it overheating they're not rich people and they need a running vehicle I think it's just pretty shady on your half take advantage of young couple trying to get by in life
I don't even want to give this man one star or any of them .. He takes advantage of poor people and it's sad .that we don't have have money like that does he realize what town he's in and what world he's in obviously not He took advantage of us completely I definitely would not recommend anybody to go to him. We went to him in good faith and he screwed us over our vehicle was running perfectly fine never overheating we went to him and good faith we bought the water pump He told us that he would give us an excellent deal I found it kind of shady that he had it done so quickly but I gave him faith we went and picked up our vehicle and we took it for a drive just for it to overheat we never had an overheating problem we called him up he told us to bring it back we did He called my husband said that it was the thermostat My husband told him go ahead put a new thermostat in supposedly he did but I don't believe he did it correctly we got the vehicle back and overheated again you made us dish out more money that we do not have I work hard for my money and to have somebody take advantage of you is incorrect. SO I HIGHLY HIGHLY ADVISE YOU GUYS EVERYONE OUT HERE DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN HE CAN'T EVEN RUN A LAUNDROMAT LET ALONE A GARAGE .DO NOT GO TO HIM BAD SERVICE.
Got recommended to go here gave me a good price for a water pump my car was not overheating at all it was just leaking antifreeze water pump got fixed got my car back go down the road overheating tow it back more money I pay there he says a thermostat mind you my car was not overheating at all when I gave it to him he fixes the thermostat mind you I pay him again go down the road again overheats he says bring it to him Monday and he says quote if it's his mistake he will fix it I say it is his mistake because it was not overheating at all when I gave it to you I would never recommend anybody to go there do not waste your time I wasted almost $500 car still overheating
Highly recommend! We needed an emergency repair and they were the only garage in 20 miles willing to get us in right away and with the capabilities to assist us. Our trailer required some fabricated pieces and welding and they were knowledgeable and skilled with the repair. We also had some vehicle maintenance that they fit in as well. On top of the great service, they were fair in the pricing for services. They went above and beyond to get us back on the road as quickly as possible!
Have had my truck in here a few times for work. From an oil change to it not starting. The owner is very honest and upfront. Always checks in before he does any work and gives a quote to make sure your ok with it. Him and his staff are very thorough and meticulous. Went through everything with my 7.3 to figure out the issue and was more than fair with the final bill. Couldn't be more pleased.

This man is amazing he gets things done fast and helps out with paperwork he does incredible work for being just him. If you need fast perfectional service please don't hesitate go to him capuano
I had them replace the motor in my 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500. They were fast, responsive, and even went above and beyond and tightened up my floppy fender flares on my truck. Will definitely be using them from here on out. It's honestly the little things that separate a great business from others.

Excellent job by Jeremy on my 2008 BMW X-3. My first time here and certainly not my last. Work involved replacing plugs and valve cover gaskets but in the end two coil packs also needed attention. They were fairly priced and seem like they care about their customers. I would not hesitate to recommend this family owned shop. Joe the owner and his Dad impressed me as well.
I have my husband’s 84 mustang there right now and they are so nice and keep me updated on everything I would recommend this place to anyone and found my forever shop vary pleased
Not a review, but these folks DO NOT DO EMISSIONS TESTING. St of CT didn't list them 9 years ago when they WERE doing the testing, and now they're listed and haven't done it for 9 years... figures St of CT efficiency...
Today my husband and I were traveling thru Winstead in our RV when the fan belt broke. We contacted the nearest dealer in Hartford who told us it would probably take a week to fix because they were booked. We took a chance and called Capuano’s and Joe said he could get the part today and get the repair done. He did just that and we were back on the road in one hour after we arrived at his shop, and got back home to Albany, NY safe and sound! I appreciate Joe’s willingness to help us on such short notice!! I would highly recommend Capuano Automotive! Thanks, Joe!
I made appointment for today after 5 pm, guy said ok and put that in calendar. And here im pouring rain and this place is closed... No phone call no anything. I been waiting for almost week. Wasting of time if they dont respect client from start.
Respond saying everything. Zero professionalism. Level of Ur respond is like retarded middle school kid. What U supposed to do? Take it to Ur shop like it was in schedule to fix it any other day or call me and change for another day. That's what mechanics do. But i guess such obvious things like calling customers are rocket science for U.
I am happy to have Capuano Automotive work on my cars. Joe is an excellent mechanic and a very honest person. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a good mechanic.
