Very respectful. Made an appointment and they took me in right at the time. Did everything I requested, not more than they quoted me. I liked the service very much.
Not happy with the service .i went in for an oil change @$60 that was good , however while dropping my car off I asked if they could take a look at why when I go to fill up with gas it keeps stopping. I told them that on the internet for my car sometimes there are spiders who get in to the went a please take a look while it up on the lift. When I went to pick up my car and wanted to pay for the oil change and for them to take a look at that vent they said they changed the vent valve but it’s still not working properly yet . I said how much do I owe he said bring the car in and drop it off again so we can see why it’s still not working right. Remember this no price was ever discussed at what the price would be. Finally, when I went to pay I was hit with $376.34 price. I was floored I looked up the part number on line it’s $39 I was charged $105 that’s almost 3-times more then the part cost . No get me wrong everyone is entitled to make a living but don’t gouge. Because there was little communication letting me know what they were doing also.doing ordering a part and installing I try without telling me and the price to install it . How would you feel?
My car is in the shop... had it towed there Wednesday and the garage (D and M in Winsted) cant even be bothered to look at it yet.... 6000 miles ago I had them do extensive front end work and put new tires on it. I contacted/brought it back twice and told them there was some kind of problem, like binding up on steering, they said there was no problem... well now my "Good/new" tires are bald to the metal on the outer side of the 2 front tires.... and they won't call me back... Sucks to be without a car but it sucks even more when you spend almost $3k on a vehicle and then people don't stand by their work.... Waiting and hoping they make it right....
Good customer service and they know what they're doing. Last summer I paid more than double for the same brake job elsewhere, and I believe prices have gone up since then due to inflation too. D&M helped my wallet out and were also the most professional I've worked with.
I brought my Subaru to them after they were recommended to me, for multiple work that needed to be done, including things that other mechanics at other establishments had messed up….. not only did D&M call me every step of the way before doing anything on the car, they treated me above and beyond in person, they knew I was on a budget and did everything they could to stay in the budget but also have me driving safely on the road, the in person customer service was great the over the phone service was great and they gave me some things to keep in mind for the future which I will DEFINITELY be giving them by business from now on 💯 thank you again!!!
I could not be happier with my experience with D&M and the work they did- it was the best and quickest experience I've had with a repair shop. Very honest and fair price, communicated every step of the way and they got my car running and back on the road in a few days of bringing it in. Highly recommend

Prices are fair and reasonable. I had switched to D&M after servicing at the dealer. As a Senior ('old lady'), I would not accept the poor treatment and very high prices at the dealer . I am so glad I switched to D&M. I have my next appointment there this week.
Great and quick service! Brought my car in the morning, and had it back by the afternoon. I needed a diagnosis done and Mike was honest about the repair! Will be using this as my go to mechanic from now on!
I bought a car from these people about 2 months ago. in that time, the transmission started slipping shifting from 2ns to third gear within a week and a half. After that the engine started running very rough, My code sensor told me "#4 cyli8nder misfiring". I took it to the shop they bought me a new coil pack, an "Up-flow O2 sensor, and 1 spark plug. I've never been taken advantage of so badly! I wouldn't do business with them if I was you! SHADY!!!
I was 14 hours from home on a two week road trip when my new ford ranger decided to be a ford and breakdown. They fixed it and had me on the road within a few hours. Everyone there was super nice and knowledgeable. They totally saved my road trip! And my sanity!

Great place to have your vehicle checked over and repaired. They are sincere and only suggest fixes that are needed and will inform you of worn components so you can plan accordingly. Reasonably priced as well in my experience.
This is my baby (yes the puppy too😂) D&M had my truck for a few days fixing it... I couldn't be happier with the service and how fast they had gotten it done. They are very knowledgeable at there job and friendly. I would 💯% recommend them for all of your vehicle needs😊 Thank y'all again for such amazing service😊😊
Service was outstanding! Had my car brake down late day. Called ahead to put car in yard for the next day. They gladly took care of my car in a.m. and brought it to my home. I would highly recommend D&M Autoworks to everyone. Reasonable rates.
Always a good experience at D&M! We have brought both our vehicles there and the work was done correctly the first time, on time, and a good price, which of course is not always the experience at other mechanics. Glad we found them - highly recommended!
They are great people. Brought in my car and they were unable to create the problem that i had and did not charge me for the work. They said all tests came out good. If it happens again bring it in will test again. Awesome mechanics. Thank you for your great customer service.

The guys here were awesome, charged a fair price, and had the utmost integrity. They had me in and out sooner than I thought and were willing to explain the whole process to me. They found an issue with my car that has flown under the radar of those big Car Maintenance chains. I honestly feel as if my car is significantly for the better.
I will definitely be a return customer for any needs I have in the future.

Best place to go in CT. They were honest and so professional and had so much knowledge and explained everything upfront! I had issues with other places Ive gone in the past, and was referred to go to D&M. I live over an hour away and have to say it was worth the drive, I know I’m in great hands there.
