Great staff here. The manager was helping myself with a headlight, and another customer with a windshield wiper, outside in the freezing rain, while also helping inside. Very pleasant and knowledgeable people at this location.

They need to get better customer service help at store. They have rent a tool or can use there's for free if you leave your license. They had like nothing to use. Unacceptable

Alex and Raymond went ABOVE and beyond recommending me a battery for a good price and warranty. They cleaned the corroded terminal and used a battery install kit to orevent it again. Will never go anywhere else. These guys were AWESOME

I had two cars with ac issues… it was a nightmare during peak summer heat. I am very thankful for Johan and Ethan’s excellent customer service they provided. They were not afraid to step out in the heat and join me on the hot pavement as we performed diagnostics to my car. They turned a crummy situation into a smoother time and provided actionable steps to solve my issue. Once again, thank you for the help gentlemen!

Fix the hours you are open on website. Drove specifically before 9pm as advertised only to find 8pm on door and worker sitting at register. With gas and time at a premium, not a good vibe for your store.

I am here for parts extremely often, sometimes multiple times a week, spending thousands every year, and it's happened at least 8 times so far this year where their website says they have something in stock and then I go there and they don't have it or can't find it. I've also had it happen where they say they don't have it after looking for all of 3 minutes, and I question them, saying, "Are you sure? Your website says you do." They'll then go back again and find it inside of 5 minutes. Once in a while is no big deal but this happens probably 1 out of every 4 times I visit. I used to work a small independent parts store and our inventory was never this terrible and our staff (besides one guy who thankfully got fired) was never this apathetic or incompetent. Every time you go there it's new employees, so you can't even develop a relationship with your local parts guys anymore. The one familiar face I see reeks like weed and is clearly high whenever I go there. Ive literally seen one of their counter people standing outside smoking a joint. Not a cigarette or roll-your-own cigarette, but quite obviously weed. There were two very good employees here but they both quit because the company isnt competitive with other local businesses. With this much turnover youre always dealing with people who arent familiar with the system, store, inventory, or subject matter. Pay your people better, and hire smarter employees who actually care. This is a problem with all Autozones, not just this one. If I had any other option I'd never go to any Autozone again but they're the only ones local to me who are open late. I'll have to plan ahead better and buy from RockAuto more often. At least they stock what they say they stock. I'm amazed autozone is as big a company as they are when they run their business this terribly. I guess I was spoiled by the indie CarQuest I worked at.

I had a check engine light on in my 2005 Honda accord and a strapping young man named Richard helped me figure out what the problem was. After figuring out that I needed some kind of new sensor, he suggested the one for my car that would be best. Upon purchasing the part he insisted that it would be delivered to his store by the end of the day (and it was not) upon arriving to work the next morning Richard must have seen that the part I was supposed to pick up was still in the store, he called me personally and set up a driver to have it delivered to the shop that my mechanic works at first thing in the morning. I just love people that go above and beyond for others and Richard definitely did that for me. #YOUGOTITRICHARD

The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had the correct wiper blade for my Subaru due to the special clip required. They opened up and checked each wiper blade to ensure the right clip was included and provided clear guidance. Their commitment is well over anything I have experienced at any store. Excellent staff.

I love this place I love the area has a Big lots here and also AutoZone of course I was able to go in and pick up my gas cap and have a couple of laffs with a couple of people there and went next door to Big lots and it's just a nice space that is.

I went to Autozone in Windsor Locks today for new windshield wipers. Alex was AWESOME! He was knowledgeable, professional, and honest. And, he installed the wipers! THANK YOU ALEX!!!

Needed to find a fastener for under my car and didn’t know exactly what we needed. Austin and Alex were both very helpful and ultimately helped us find what we could use. We are thankful for their knowledge and willingness to help us out.

I Had flat bike tires, Autozone in Windsor Locks was very helpful. They showed me which bike pump we needed, and Connor even assisted me in pumping up my tires to their recommended pressure. Excellent price, and great help!

Adrian was a big help changing my battery. Even though he didn't have alot of help from other employees he was kind and helpful.

Here needed a battery and light bulb. Tyler was quick to ask for help. Tyler had a great personality, which was driven by his excellent customer service skills.

The guys at this AutoZone and most auto zones are great. Today they did an awesome job helping me out with battery testing and replacing my bad battery under warranty. Great customer service and awesome sense of humor. Looking for a blinker fluid refill, they said that they’ll let me know when it’s back in stock :D

My experiences with this location as been mostly tremendous. I think mainly because of the store manager Nicky. She is just a gem. Each encounter with her she always goes above and beyond to ensure all my requests are met. I’ve had instances where she has called to check up on me and my husband. She is a force to reckon with she just always knows what to say to ease a customers frustration. I use to want to stop shopping at that location but with this new manager I will definitely continue. I wish I could give this location 100 stars ⭐️ ⭐️

Please train your employees in customer service skills. Customers should not have to ask 50 questions to get a simple response about availability of services. Your employee sounded like she thought she was granting customers a favor, not doing her job. If she doesn’t like her job, she should change it.

Great experience at AutoZone Windsor Locks! Nicola helped me find what I needed and was super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. And Pedro was amazing too, he installed my battery and was also so helpful and nice. I’ll be back for the customer service alone!

Yea i ordered oil and a filter online to pick it up in the morning after work to make my life a little easier. The cashier told me that they don’t have it in stock even though it shows it was in stock. Me not thinking nothing of it i took his word for it i was tired and just had him cancel my online order and asked to refund me the money and left. i sat in my car because i felt like i was being lied to, i went back in and sure enough what i had ordered was sitting on the shelf so i paid for it in store they said the other payment would be refunded to me but i was charged twice. With all this going on i heard the two behind the desk laughing and giggling saying something like “i should have stayed where i came from.” Because i live in Springfield and i ordered in Connecticut because it’s close to my job. This is Extremely unprofessional especially coming from two grown men.

The staff needs to be trained . I drove from New Britain to this store to pick up some brakes pads. Available only in Windsor Locks store. Once at store some lady Elizabeth was helping me with my order, as she was talking to me, she was having a social conversation with another male employee. Let me tell you that what happens when you don't pay attention to your work. I got home and got the wrong brakes pads. wow. I drove back to the store, I explained to a young man; the one that was socializing with Elizabeth earlier. I told him that she had given me the wrong pads. When he checked the computer , I was given the wrong ones. She picked the wrong pads from the shelve . The young employee told me that he needs to trained the entire store. Sad, that I had to drive 40 mins 4 times due to an employee not doing her job right. It is not about being trained , it is about giving your full attention to your customers. simple and easy.

The guy attitude on this Store now definitely it's not fit for customer service. I have shop here for years never have a problem with any body. This guy he thinks it's a king of the Store. Choose a different auto part store than Windsor Locks. Very disrespectful and rude attitude!!

AutoZone in Windsor Locks staff was VERY helpful in picking out the correct battery for my vehicle. They also made good suggestions on how to uninstall the old one and put the new one in. Can recommend this store in the Dexter Plaza next to the Ocean State Job Lot with confidence!

I was waiting to purchase some off the shelf items with only one person at the registers and already helping a customer. A second person came out did not even look at me and went into the back area. I put my stuff back on the shelves and left. I went to Advance Auto where they had everything I wanted for cheaper and had three people ready to help.

I forgot my glasses and couldn't read labels and descriptions of products. Staff was so nice to help me and even though it was embarrassing they made it comfortable. Some staff has limited knowledge but after some thought I figured excellent service considering not everyone is a auto mechanic. I away happy and prices are fair. Thank you so much for your service!
