Is my first and last time Iam dealing with this location. 3 times I ask if the part was the right one. Fact was the replacement was not the one. Boooom 200 dollars on top of the mechanic job. Not fear they need more people with comprehensive.

Helpful and courteous employees

Worst hours ever. I work on cars on the weekend and they close at 2 on Saturday and then are closed all Sunday. Seriously? Sunday is when everyone is working on stuff. Am I seriously the only one who works on the weekend? Every time I try to go there theyre closed. I can't be the only one. What a joke.

Thank you for your response to my review. Apparently, you only looked at the 1 star, and didn't read the entire review. I DID buy the battery at the Windsor Locks Advance Auto Parts location, and the guy gave me that attitude. He didn't have a problem refunding the $200 I paid for the battery. Business must be good there if he doesn't need a $200 sale. Bought a battery at the Windsor Locks store, but he wouldn't install it. There were 3 guys behind the counter, and I was the only customer there. He was rude and told me "This is an auto parts store. We're not authorized to do that." So I got a refund, drove 2 and a half miles to the East Windsor store, bought the same battery, and it took Bill 5 minutes to install it. I thought all Advance Auto Parts stores install batteries, because I also had one installed at the Enfield store 4 years ago. And the website says Free Battery Testing and Installation. I will not be going back to the Windsor Locks store again.

Do not recommend at all. The men working there are extremely rude and are clearly unhappy to have customers come in the store.

If you are looking for a parts jockey from a bygone era, then boy this is your place. Bunch of old guys sitting around complaining about democrats, not wearing masks and having trouble using the simplest technological advances. Please get rid of these dinosaurs.

Had the parts I needed and extremely friendly service.

purchased a $60.00 tire value didn’t need it they refused to accept the return even tho it was never opened and returned within the hour nothing on receipt and never told at purchase about item not returnable... they were nice when I purchased and nasty and arrogant when returning. by by Advance Auto just lost a $2500.00 a year cash account over a simple return. plenty of other part houses around .. try being nice and decent to your customers your business depends on it .

I usually go to East Windsor Bridge st. Today I tried to Use my Speed rewards. Had to much trouble. Bridge St is easy and helpful

Auto parts store, good stock

Ordered parts online, went to pick up over and hour later, guy working gave me attitude for "coming so fast" when they advertise 30 mins pick up. I then went back home to install the brake rotor pads and caliper to find out he gave me the wrong rotor for a completely different car. I didnt think matching up part numbers was that hard When I went to call he put me on hold for 40 mins and waited for the store to close as it closes earlier then there other branches. I called the east Windsor branch and apparently this happens all the time and is "normal " east Windsor branch corrected the problem

I've been using Advance Auto Parts which used to be a Carquest store for over 20 years it's been pretty much the same people always great service good parts and decent prices I would recommend them to anyone

Friendly, knowledgeable service. Great in-store selection. 9 out of 10 times they have my part in stock.

For such a small shop and being an "Advance Auto Parts" .... they have a better in-store selection of quality products.
