I was referred to this shop by my insurance company after a minor accident. I received great customer service from start to finish and was kept updated throughout the course of the repair. Of note, my car has aftermarket parts. While some shops find these cars to be a nuisance, the owner and his team worked with me to integrate aftermarket parts into the repair process. Because I had some aftermarket parts on hand, the owner was able to negotiate a lower deductible for me with my insurance company. Highly recommended

The manager, Carl, was a delight to work with! He got my car into the shop as soon as possible after my accident, and got it fixed in a very timely manner. He worked with my insurance beautifully and made this a very stress free experience. He also took the time to keep me updated about my car throughout the week, and made sure it got fixed correctly. I have been in multiple accidents over the years in my little civic. Most recently I was rear ended. Many people like myself have had absolute terrible experiences with OTHER local body shops (all with over 4 stars). After a previous repair job went terribly wrong I was very worried about using an insurance recommended body shop. I found Governor’s auto body through the estimation process which for my insurance had to be done with a preferred provider no matter who is doing the repair.
It is here that I met Carl. I expressed my fear with using non Honda dealerships and how my last repair went wrong. As we talked and he did the estimate he was super professional and was extremely transparent. He walked me though all the damage and all the places where he suspected hidden damage. He even told me how to handle the insurance issue with the dealership since they are not a preferred shop. He took the time to get all the information and take photos and even showed me the 3D model of my car and how he was plugging in the damage to generate the estimate. I was able to ask questions about the damage and we ended up talking a little bit about my cars design. (I’m an engineer it’s what we do) I left estimate in hand and knew immediately I was going to use this shop.
Carl was fully transparent on the time line and when I dropped my car off I got updates on the damage and the repair process every few days. When it was ready, we went through all the repairs and I got to see photos of the repair in progress. (I would like to note that they only work on a few cars at a time. They don’t squeeze cars in and rush cars unlike other places). I took time looking over my car and all the panels and clips, and let me tell you it was solid. This was the first time I have EVER gotten my car back from a repair and not found an issue with it (even at dealerships). I even got to meet the guy to did the majority of the work.
Overall I can’t recommend this shop enough. Not only did I get listened to (most shops talk down to me) but the repair got done to my expectations.
It has been a few months since the repair and I have included before and after photos. Don’t mind the dirty car.

I have dealt with a few auto body shops in the past. This auto body shop is by far the best. I was updated throughout the process and got my car back just like new. Carl is super helpful and I am very impressed with the great quality of the work done!
It was my first time going to this business for auto body repair of my car after an accident. The owner is professional and friendly, providing good customer service and explaining everything well. The crew of this place did a phenomenal job with the repair of my Toyota RAV4, it looks new as if I never had body damage on this car before. They even finished my repair earlier than expected which was great! I recommend this business for anyone needing auto body repairs. Thank you Carl for the great service!
Someone busted out the window in my car damaged a small trim piece. My insurance (USAA) had me send my car there.
Upon arrival, I was under the impression that all that had to be replaced was the window and trim piece on B pillar. However one of their techs also spotted some paint scratches due to broken glass, as well as scuffs to the interior door panel.
I imagine they also were hungry for the additional work that insurance was going to be covering, so hard to fault them for that.
About 2 days later, I received an email that the parts were on order. 3 days after that the car was ready to be picked up.
Along with replacing damaged parts and painting the door, they also retinted the window which I wasn’t expecting.
I see a lot of negative complaints on here regarding towing services, and while I can’t speak on that front since it’s not a service they provided me, I can’t imagine them dropping the ball there either.
A huge plus is that there is an enterprise rent a car facility within walking distance, where it went to grab my rental.
Upon picking up the car, they told me I could leave my rental there and they’d call for it to be picked up.
All in all, I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, and quality of work. While I hope to never need their services again, if I’m in a similar situation in the future, I’ll request to have them handle the work.
Carl was not only a very nice man but great at communicating and updating you with any issues or concerns about your vehicle. He towed my car last week and told me the repairs on my car would take about 2-3 weeks to fix due to ordering new parts, labor and having multiple other vehicles ahead of me to repair. To my surprise he called me one week later to let me know my vehicle has been repaired and that it’s ready to be picked up! Once arriving and seeing my vehicle it looked brand new like I was picking it up from the dealership all over again! If you want fast, reliable and great service I highly recommend you come here! If could give this place more than 5 stars I would, Thanks again Carl!
