They are a trusted local shop in my neighborhood. The staff is very friendly, and I got my Audi A7 oil change done for about half the dealership price. They also checked everything over. Fair, honest, I bring all my cars to them.
Dave Ehnot (store manager) is the most honest and knowledgeable automotive professional I've met. He's patient when I do a horrible job explaining what's wrong with my car and makes sure I understand what is recommended and what can wait for a little bit longer. I never feel pressured to make a repair but feel confident with his feedback. He and his team are the reason I go out of town to get work done on my car. I feel like I never have to worry they won't meet my needs. They also get me in for service appointments in a reasonable time frame which can be a challenge with so many businesses. I once had a last minute issue before traveling far for a vacation and he helped us on the spot with a temporary fix since we didn't have time to wait for a part to come in. The solution made it safe to drive and he ordered the part in the meantime so we could get it quickly repaired upon our return. I love Firestone in Plainville!! ❤️
I had a frustrating tire experience which led me to Eric at Firestone. Eric was helpful and gave me some next steps to follow. I then worked with Dave who understood my frustration and took good care of me. I will continue to work with Dave & Eric at Firestone Bristol.
I brought my car in at 9 AM for an alignment and an oil change which they said would be done in the early afternoon. 7 hours later at 4 PM and they still haven’t taken my car in. Terrible service
i came in to get 4 tires for my Toyota Camry. originally service mgr. said that it will take 90min. and i needed to replace the tire sensors with each tire, the sensors was $89 plus tax ($109) total $1050.00 for the whole package.( 4 tires and 4 sensors) when the service was done, the service mgr..& tech told me that only 1 tire sensor needed to be replace, plus i received a 5% as well as a15% for the tires
the price out the door was under $800, thank you
Staff were friendly and helpful. I was happy with my service and the waiting area was comfortable especially since I had to wait a long time while getting my brakes. I will be back for my next car service.
Extremely dishonest shop.I was getting vibration and took my car to this location and they told me it's due to shifted belt in tire.I replaced the tire with brand new pirellis and still had the vibration.The shop that installed the pirellis told me it's not the tire but bad inner tire rod.After changing the tire rod vibration is Gone and car is so SMOOTH.STAY OFF THIS PLACE.THEY ARE ONLY IN FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC FEE. IT'S A SHAME
I brought my Mazda CX-50 in for new brakes on 10/29. The vehicle was never put into maintenance mode, it triggered an e-brake error that they cannot fix.
This shop always gets my car in quickly, the staff is always courteous and they always give me a complete explanation regarding work that needs to be done.
This was my Eleventh time at Firestone Complete Auto Plainville and I am incredibly impressed. They greeted me warmly and took my car for a test drive to listen to the issues with my steering. He clearly explained the high-priority repairs needed and called to confirm everything before starting work. It's refreshing to find a shop with staff who are passionate and show a true commitment to quality work. I'll definitely be back for my next service! Thanks Sean!!!!!!
They were able to fit an appointment in same day to repair my tire. Anwar was able to patch up the tire quickly and also made sure my warranty was applied.
Awful experience. I bought 4 brand-new tires here, and within 6 months one started leaking. They advertise “guaranteed tires,” but of course not the ones I purchased. After they “fixed” it, I got home to find another tire leaking.
This place is dishonest and unreliable. Save yourself the headache—read the other bad reviews and take your business elsewhere.
The worst experience ever. I should have trusted my instincts, but I thought I was overthinking it. I bought 4 new tires, and within 6 months one started leaking. They claim to guarantee their tires—except, conveniently, the type I purchased.
I brought the car back, asked them to fix the leaking tire, and when I got home, a different tire was leaking. That tells me everything I need to know about the quality of their products and service.
If you’re even considering going to this place—don’t. Don’t make the same mistake I did. When a business lies to make a sale, they’ll keep cheating their customers. I wish I had read the many other negative reviews before wasting my money here.

I called a day in advance to confirm that they could accommodate my vehicle, which is lower than average due to its design. I was assured there wouldn’t be any issues. I had a 3:00 PM appointment and arrived 20 minutes early. The advisor told me the service would take 60–90 minutes. However, my car wasn’t even pulled into the bay until 4:30.
About 25 minutes after that, I was told they couldn’t accommodate my vehicle after all. It then took another 15 minutes just to get my keys back. Over 2 hours completely wasted — no apology, no sense of urgency, no sign of empathy.
If you value your time, take your car elsewhere. At least at a dealership, you get what you pay for

I went to them to know and fix the engine mark and I told them what the code was and what the fault was, but they took $129 from me without doing anything. They just told me to go to the agency. This particular branch does not know anything and they do not have any efficiency.
I've never looked to Firestone for help but in this situation at a desperate moment I reached out to them and Rashawn J and technician Jorhan welcomed me 45 minutes before closing to make sure my vehicle would safely make the trip with my son to Ohio, it meant alot to me 🫡 keep up the good work guys
Great experience! Dave called me promptly after assessing my vehicle and clearly explained the issue, along with all the available options for moving forward. I really appreciated how transparent they were about costs - no surprises. Once the work was completed, he gave me a call right away to let me know everything was done. The whole process was smooth, professional, and efficient. Highly recommend.
Totally disgusted....
April of 2023 we were passing through from Florida and AC compressor went bad. This store #755689 provided good service and replaced AC compressor along with replacing front wheel rotors and brakes. Great you would say. So after spending $2000 that two years later that my AC compressor clutch has gone bad and so I don't have AC.
So original compressor lasted 16 years and now a brand new unit is only good for two years it seems. Wonder now what I got for new compressor? New or New Rebuilt........$700 should be a new one as that is what I expect.
Called this dealer today June 6, 2025 and agent there ( had my information )informed me that AC compressor has only one year warranty. I am traveling now and in Nova Scotia and if I want , I could drive to this business in Connecticut ( I told the agent I was in Canada now) and they would have a look and see what they could do.
I know what they can will do .... replace the compressor clutch for a low low fee after I spend $450 in gas, $700 in lodging and $300 to take ferry back to NS Canada.`
I am beginning to believe in reading reviews and hope people read this and beware and ask a lot of questions.

I assumed that the Firestone brand being a long standing name I would be safe in getting good quality parts. Perhaps I could have spent another $400 for extended warranty and still have to spend $1500 to have the warranty work done. The agent asked me if there were any Firestone dealers in Canada. There isn't that I could find.
So now I have too hunt down a business that is not operating under the same principles as Firestone.
A refund for AC was not offered and I didn't ask. Might as well take my grocery receipt back to grocery store and ask for a refund because I didn't like the taste of the products!
If anything positive comes of this from Firestone I will be glad to post.
Horrible service. I got two new tires and was told I was all set and ready to go. I get in my car and one of them had only 19 pounds of pressure, the other had 44. They're supposed to have 35. I go in and ask them to correct it and was told the one with 44 was okay because when it gets cold it will lose a couple pounds. Absolutely not okay. It's summer and that is completely unprofessional to leave all my tires at different pressures. Then, they did not provide me with an alignment printout and due to the tire pressure issues, I do not trust the alignment was even done, let alone done correctly and will be requesting a refund for that. They also forgot to put my spare tire back in my car and forgot to put the caps back on my new tires. Horribly rude when trying to speak very politely about the issues and the needs to correct them too. I will happily post a new review if my alignment is refunded and caps are replaced without any issues to do so.
So many thanks to Dave and his shop team, Plainville, CT Firestone Care Center.. I had just had custom powder coating on my factory alloy rims and brought them to Dave for install of my new set of Firestone L3’s, 245 X 70 X 16, on my pristine 01 Grand Cherokee. Meticulous and precision tire mounting. NOT a single scratch, mar of gaff on theses perfect rims. All balanced with precisely placed inside wheel rim weights .

He's a great mechanic with an GREAT understanding of customer service and it shows he cares about not only your safety but also about the customer behind the wheel. 11/10 experience
I don't trust this place. I went in for the free brake inspection because I could feel my Ridgeline surging/pulsing a bit when braking.
I purchased the truck less than 5k miles ago and the dealer had replaced the front rotors and pads. Brakes were fine up until a couple of months ago. I thought maybe something went wrong but I certainly didn't expect them to say I needed a complete brake job front and back. Their report said the front rotors were heat checked and close to the end of their useful life. The front pads, they said, were worn and uneven and close to their useful life. The rear parts were described similarly. I couldn't afford the $1000+ for this job, so I decided to do it myself.
I replaced my front brakes today. I was shocked that the rotors and pads looked almost brand new! Basically as I'd expect brakes with 5k miles on them would look. I noticed that one pad was not sitting correctly in the caliper and one of the springs clips on that pad had broken. To be safe I completely changed rotors and pads since I already started, but I think that could have been my issue. I didn't touch the rear and probably won't considering my issue is gone during my test drive. The brakes are perfect now.
I cannot understand how they could have reported the condition the way they did. I just needed a repair, maybe just new pads, not a complete brake job. I've included pictures of the parts I removed...the parts they said were at the end of their useful life. Judge for yourself. I guess I got what I paid for, which was nothing fortunately. But I wouldn't trust this place to ever touch my cars.
