Awesome little spot tucked away on a side road in Farmington! I purchased a vintage framed print of 3 puppies from them and it's now in my dog themed bathroom :)
The owners are very nice, kind people and you won't regret visiting them at their store.
Love this antique shop and can't wait to go back. Found some incredible artwork and antique lighting and furniture. Husband and wife who own it are very knowledgeable and warm and welcoming and willing to haggle. Great place for unique one-of-a-kind gifts for friends and family - start your holiday shopping here instead of big box stores and support a small family business. Five stars is not enough!
Decent collection of items including a lot of furniture and jewelry but very high prices in my opinion. The owners are friendly but put a good amount of pressure on you to buy something while you’re there which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. Unfortunately got something that didn’t work when I got home and plugged it in. Probably wouldn’t go back but might be worth visiting if you have the budget.
A hidden gem! What a wonderful antique shop off the beaten path in Farmington. Selection of "real" antiques makes this shop a real find for antique lovers. The couple who owns and runs it are the best and go out of their way to answer questions and provide help. This is definitely an antique shop worth visiting to find that treasure you've been searching for.
I recently visited this incredible antique shop and can't say enough good things about it! The selection of antiques is absolutely stunning - each piece is unique, beautifully curated, and brimming with character. From antique furniture to rare collectibles, there's something for every antique lover. The owners are the heart of the shop - warm, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about their treasures. They took the time to share stories behind some of the items and made the experience so welcoming and enjoyable. I would leave 0 stars if i could. The gentleman who answered the phone was one of the rudest and nastiest people i have ever spoken to. This place lists things online to sell, but will not discuss anything over the phone. He wouldn’t answer simple questions nor even what price he wanted. He quickly said they do no internet sales or ship and all questions will only be answered in person at the store. i said i didn’t need anything shipped and I do not live close. I didn’t want to take a long drive to find out they wanted far more for their item then its worth or that it was sold while im traveling there. When i kindly asked if he could at least tell me any information, he boldly stated “you know ive said too much”. What small business would not be willing to at least answer questions to a customer trying to buy a higher valued item? This wasn’t something for a few dollars, it was several hundred dollars. I had my credit card in my hand prepared to purchase the item on the phone had he just answered my questions. You do not do internet sales or ship yet they list the item in several different listings over 4 different states? Its sad when a person chooses to support a small business and gets treated like this. If you were the owner and you read this comment shame on you for the way you talk and treat your customers. If you were an employee you should not be answering the phones and go sweep in the back. You certainly lost me as a customer.
Stopped in today and had a few items appraised very helpful and insightful. Gave more than enough information for me to be able to use going forward. Would stop in again!
Extremely rude man. He warned us to watch our kids which we knew to do and he responded “I don’t care what you tell them”. We walked right out.
Owner also said it is unsafe as kids can lose fingers. Will be reporting to the town for its lack of safety.

Wow!!! Just wow! How did I not know this was here! It's so quaint and nestled beautifully off rt 6. I was greeted as I walked in by the man behind the counter. He was so knowledgeable from what I was hearing. I need to go back for the whole day so I can look at everything! Some things I haven't seen since I was a kid! It brought back so many warm memories. Thank you for being here, you'll see me again soon!
What treasures!!! Just opening the door brings you back to a time I wasn't even alive to experience... but glad they are keeping it alive! Sooo many fun things to look at and take home! And the upstairs is really cool too! Lots going on on both levels of this cute anti-Q shop. Def a hidden gem in the area!!!
Antiq’s is more than just an antique shop, it’s an absolute gem. Downstairs is full of antiques and vintage items of all sorts. It’s organized to a degree but also just disorganized enough that you feel like you’re hunting for the treasures. The gentleman behind the counter is an absolute wealth of knowledge and can tell you about everything in that store as well as some quite entertaining personal stories.
Upstairs is different. It’s like a fantasy cottage full of books, jewelry, trinkets, and art all loosely centered around a magical and metaphysical theme. Hundreds of tarot card decks ranging from new to the truly antique originals. The woman who minds the upstairs shop is the kindest and friendliest ever. I’ve enjoyed many conversations with her while I wander her space.
If you have never been to Antiq’s I urge you to visit, but factor in a little extra time as you won’t want to leave.
This place is such a diamond in the rough. Been multiple times and truly a fun place to wander around and get lost, finding one of a kind things. I saw other reviews about kids getting barked out- it’s an antique store. Not a place to let kiddos walk around unattended esp if young. Lots of priceless things.
One of thee best shops around found exactly what I was looking for and then some!! Made some great friends/contacts with the absolutely LOVELY couple that run the joint. They are such wonderful, hardworking, dedicated people that know what they are talking about! Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for amazing quality items that tell a story! Will be returning at least once every few months for sure!!!
Absolutely LOVE this place. The couple running it are thee best to chat with! Please treat this establishment with respect. The owners have worker very hard over the years. Remember not to touch what’s not yours, always ask and just be courteous! My fiance ( Deziimay on social media ) and I went in one rainy Saturday looking for older convext bubble glass picture frames. This. man. was. AWESOME. Not only worked with us very well on negotiating price but also filled us with knowledgeable information. 100/10 have been back and will be back more. Thank you.
i’ve been to this wonderful little gem of a store on multiple occasions and never once have had a bad experience. to the couple who left 1 star reviews right before me leaving this review, there should be no issue with the owners telling you to watch your kids when the store is quite literally packed to the brim with breakable antiques worth tens of hundreds of dollars. leaving a bad review for that reason and then vaguely describing how the owners “were rude” just because your upset that the owners are looking out for their own store (it is more than fair for them to be worried about kids in their store) is just petty and unnecessary. anyone who is thinking about visiting this store, i urge you to visit and i can guarantee you’ll find some quality treasure. i am in no way a family member or friend of the owners, just a loyal customer who doesn’t see the point in trying to ruin the reputation of a couple who has only positively contributed to the antique collector community of the greater farmington area. thank you for reading.
Cannot express how incredibly rude the man working here is. We weren’t even inside for 30 seconds before he made such rude and aggressive comments towards me and my family. I would never do business with someone who treats people with such little kindness and respect.
I went inside and was VERY generous to the owners and for some reason the man was fairly rude. I had over 1 grand worth of crystals and gemstones that I brought in to sell to them, and they wouldn't settle for over $40. The owner had then stood outside and watched us leave. I am very upset about this experience and don't plan on coming back. The man told us he didn't know much about the crystals but I was told by a friend that when he went there, all the crystals I sold to them were being sold way more than the 40 they had offered to me. I don't know much about crystals but when I searched it up when I got home, I found out they were worth a lot more than what the man had told me. I had a 13 lbs amethyst along with many other large and expensive crystals all taken from me for ONLY 40?! When we making the transaction, he took a picture of us, which he did not ask for. I get that he needs to fake security measures, but simply asking first would be appreciated.
Definitely a hidden gem if you’re an antique lover!! The shop is ran by a very sweet couple who love to get to know their customers. You can find almost any antique good you are looking for in this store and prices are fairly reasonable for the quality of the goods. They are open to haggling down prices so don’t be afraid to ask how much something is and show that you want to buy it! This is my favorite place to go for antique jewelry.?
My husband and I recently visited Anitiq's for the first time, and we had a great experience! The store is a treasure trove of unique and eclectic antiques, and the owners, Tom and Jean, are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.
On Saturdays, they offer free appraisals from 11-4. We brought three items with us to be appraised, and Tom took his time to evaluate each one and provide us with interesting information about its history and estimated value. He was very fair and honest in his appraisals, and we were very impressed with his expertise.
There is a wide selection of antiques and vintage items at Anitiq's, from furniture and home décor to jewelry and art to collectibles and ephemera - all of which is well organized and easy to see (as opposed to digging through dusty bins of mixed items to find something as found at some antique shops). We bought two great pieces for our own collection during our visit, and we couldn't be happier. Tom and Jean were very helpful, and we left the store feeling like we had made two new friends.
I highly recommend Anitiq's to anyone looking for a unique, fun, and interesting shopping experience. Tom and Jean are truly passionate about antiques, their prices are fair, and they provide an excellent customer service experience. We definitely plan to return!
My husband and I went here yesterday looking for old fashioned handtools and the husband and wife who run the shop are wonderful people with great knowledge of antique + vintage items. Loved finding this place and will definitely be back for more!
Ohhhh how thrilled I was when I came across this little gem in Farmington. His and hers. He seems to be in charge on the first floor and she is definitely in charge upstairs. Lovely couple. And they do appraisals on Saturdays! If you haven't been, you must go! Check out their antique CT license plates.
I didn’t even get a chance to shop here. The owner watched me park in the parking lot and when I entered the shop he told me my children weren’t allowed. I frequent antique stores with my children, they are well behaved and have never broken anything. Children are people too. I will not being coming back here. He was extremely rude.
Love Thomas and Jean! Have been coming to their store since we moved to Farmington, and half of my furniture is from their shop. Everything they have is high quality, unique and beautiful. Love the upstairs, can never walk out without a purchase:-)
I love this store. One of the only different stores with so many cool and interesting items around here. The upstairs is the best part with the hundreds of necklaces, rings, crystals, tarot decks, and more. The owners are amazing as well! ❤️
