I'm in the area temporarily, so not well versed on the competition, but this place was excellent. I needed a few basic things done as well as some parts replaced. Omar took a look at my car, gave me an accurate and fair quote and advised me that something else should really also be replaced. When he was done, he noticed a noise and took the extra time to investigate and fix it. The price was right and the service was quality and thorough. I'm very satisfied and will come back if I'm in need of a mechanic in the area again.
Edit 1 year later: the noises that Omar noticed came back a while ago. I took the car to my regular mechanic and he said that the item I asked Omar to take a look at was put on wrong and has since caused some damage to surrounding parts leading to a costly repair.
First of all, the owner/mechanic is thoroughly trained in all aspects of domestic and foreign autos. He is genuine and fair in his pricing. He is quick and professional.
