Dude you crazy circumstances my Mini Cooper died near their shop. Let me preface some of this by saying Knaack does not work on Mini Coopers. Nonetheless they still brought it into thereshop. Making room for me and putting it up on a lift to see if it was something quick and easy. It was not as it turns out regardless they still looked and then they recommended nearby places that they trusted to work on the car. You can't ask for anything better from a mechanic. So if you don't have a mini try here first.

Jhon and Linda are the kindest souls I have ever met. They go out of their way to do all that they can to help get your car on the road driving safely. I’ve been nothing but amazed at not only the level of customer service but also their attention to detail and quality. They treat you like family not just a dollar sign and that is so rare these days. Amazing mom and pop shop in town and highly recommend!! Truly genuine down home folks and a whole town that respects them so that’s saying something ain’t it? Love this place!!!!

I have used Knaack's services several times for my vehicles, which have experienced significant wear and tear over the years. After receiving inflated estimates from other companies, I brought my vehicles to Knaack for a second opinion. Each time, they provided honest, straightforward feedback without any pressure or unnecessary upcharges. I truly appreciate their integrity and commitment to fair service.

I have used Knaack 2 times. I have also called to get a quick opinion on something. Once, I went in worried about my rack and piston, a very important steering component. They looked at it up on their rack, and test drove it to tell me that they don't think the car's rack and pinion are bad. They looked at my power steering and other components. Every thing is good and the car is safe to drive. However, there are a few things that if done may give better handling and driving experience. They did not just change the part to make money. If they cannot help you they will send you the contacts of other local mechanics that can help you! I really appreciate small local people and businesses, people who have a name to stand behind. Small and local people do not a vast chain that supports them, and for that every client matters because it is there reputation that keeps them kicking and screaming. Branden

She was super fast and more than fair. We brought in our old Chevy Aveo, and she tested it, found the broken head gasket, and was straightforward about it. She advised us not to spend the money on repairs (which is the only sensible option in this case), and she didn't even charge me anything. We'll be using her any time we're nearby!

Wonderful experience with Knaack Automotive. The starter on my car died and they were able to get my car fixed in two short days to accommodate me needing to travel out of state. Price was very fair and they were very kind and kept me updated. Very grateful for this gem in Wellington!

The Knack of it has Wonderful Service, with truly caring people that will go out of their way, to meet your needs!!! We have worked with them Multiple times, and each time we needed them, they did everything they could to give us the best pricing possible for the work we needed done!! Would Recommend them to Anyone!!

These folks are the embodiment of small town love. "Above and beyond" sums it up pretty well. I truly can't put into words how appreciative I am to them and the services rendered to me for such a competitive price. I had just come from travel in the mountains where my breaks felt off. As I traveled back home I got the call that my pregnant DIL was dilated to 1cm, so labor may come any day…I’m traveling by car to MI to help them. I needed my breaks checked and an oil change to be ready to go when she’s in active labor. It was Friday morning when I called Knaack, and despite being crazy busy they told me to bring it on in! My breaks ended up just fine, and John said they were probably just hot driving through the mountains. John changed my oil and had me ready by early afternoon! Charline and John (who I just met that day as a first time customer) were two of the kindest people I’ve met! Their honesty, kindness and personal care have made me a customer for life! I was headed from Cheyenne, Wyoming to the airport in Denver, when i ended up with a low tire. Turns out I had a screw in the tire, and no way of making it to Ft. Collins to get fixed. I stopped at Knaack Automotive, and asked if they could fix my tire quickly as I was in a rush to get to airport. That day I truly encountered 2 angels (the Owners). They fit me into their already busy schedule, had my tire fixed in record time, and did not charge me. I literally cried by their kindness and generosity to see me get back on the road safely. Life saving!!! 2013 F-150 with a Trailer headed to Washington State and got broken down just north from here with no service. Had to get directions and these guys were able to fix my issue and I stayed at a hotel that was walking distance. I was stranded and helpless until they assured me fixed it. They replaced my water pump… and checked out my cooling system… boom. Here I am 25 hours later back in Washington!!!

I can not say enough wonderful things about Knaack Automotive. Took my 2016 2500 Dodge Ram in for basically a thorough inspection as well as a couple of other things. Since I am planning on pulling a horse trailer over 3000 miles, I need it to be safe. I knew it needed simple things. I also knew it had a leak of some kind and the heater took forever to warm up. The leak turned out to be my radiator! Yikes! That could have turned into a nightmare on the road! They also found that my rotors were bad. They fixed everything and gave me a 2 year warranty on parts and labor. PLUS Linda muttled through the extended warranty insurance paperwork. They are wonderful to work with. Thank you Knaack Automotive for being conscientious and taking good care of my truck. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Knaack Automotive.

Holy cats, this is a great mechanic! Got me in quickly, diagnosed the issue correctly and honestly, and had me back on the road by the end of the day. Front desk was super friendly and communication was top notch, and hilarious! Couldn't ask for better. Seriously. I was bracing for a head gasket repair but they found it was just a crack in the thermostat housing. A much cheaper repair for me and proved their honesty.

While traveling from Denver to Cheyenne recently, my car broke down and I found myself stranded in Wellington, CO. Fortunately my tow truck driver suggested Knaack Of It Automotive to address my issues. Not only did they get my car in quickly, they were able to do the repair and made certain all was well before I could head out on the road again. John, Linda and Sarah are perfect! No limit to Johns knowledge, let alone Linda knowing what the problem was before John even looked at the car. Trust is everything with a car mechanic, and these folks are good people you can trust. I would recommend them to anyone, especially those who do not know much about car repair. Honest good people.

Linda, Darren, and Sara were extremely professional from start to finish. Darren was able to fit me in the same day and Sara worked with me to discuss my repair options as well as accommodated me after they closed so I could pick up my car. Highly recommend!

Great shop! Very professional, friendly, and trustworthy. They obviously take pride in the quality of workmanship they deliver to their customers. As a single mom who does not know much about auto repairs, I knew they would be honest and helpful in explaining to me what the issues were with my vehicle. They were prompt as well. I would not take my vehicle anywhere else!

The service was great! They were wiper fast, diagnosed my car quickly and got the repairs done quickly. They fixed a weird issue with my fuel and I was super happy I didn’t have to “chase” the issue like I thought I was going to. They are super communicative and friendly. Definitely would recommend and use again!

We had an oil leak which made the van unable to drive. We called Knaack automotive. They were able to schedule us right in understanding the van was down. We towed it up to the garage they diagnosed the problem and gave a quote the next day. It was so enlightening to experience true honesty and great customer service.

Sara and Linda are a wonderful duo running the office and communications, while John runs the wrench with tremendous knowledge and experience! This place will be my go-to for my diesel truck without a doubt!

We've been bringing our vehicles and old farm truck here for years.... Knaack of it is the best. Incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, kind folks that actually care. Knaack of it doesn't do the "add on charges" that other places do.... you know, the extra charges that make no sense and aren't necessary. They find the problem, fix the problem and you're on your way. They are the only auto place that I trust wholeheartedly. Plus, Linda is the kindest person you'll ever meet who genuinely enjoys helping customers. They are the best example of a wonderful family owned business.

Knaack of It and squeezed us in in a pinch before leaving town. They are thorough and I feel safe towing cross country after a visit to their shop, knowing that they care about their customers. Plus, they do a great job staying in touch about the progress on you vehicle and their prices are reasonable. We will definitely be taking all of our vehicles there from here on out.

Linda was amazing! I was looking at purchasing a car in Wellington (I reside in Fort Collins) and explained that I wanted to pay for the inspection done on the car I was looking at buying. She contacted the current owner, set up an appointment with them, and got the car inspected that day! She was so kind and helpful and made it such an easy, effortless process. I will definitely be working with them in the future!

I highly recommend this business! On Thursday, July 25, 2019, I was traveling from South Dakota to my home in Arizona. I stopped in Wellington, Colorado for gas. I accidentally drove over a curb and detached part of my front bumper. I knew I couldn’t drive without getting it fixed. I was by myself and unfamiliar with the area. I checked google and found Knaack Of It Automotive not far from me. It had high ratings so I decided to see if they could help. When I arrived I asked if they could look at the damage and possibly repair it so I could continue on my way. A young man and woman looked at the damage and said they could fix it. After approximately 30 minutes the bumper was repaired! I asked what I owed them and they both replied “nothing”. I could not believe it and said I wanted to pay them. They again said nothing was owed and for me to have a safe trip home. I was speechless and literally cried as I drove away. If you are local, or just passing through, and need repairs on your vehicle please check them out! They are professional, courteous, friendly and extremely helpful!

Absolutely amazing service. I am in awe and still sitting in my car in shock at how helpful these people were. I just drove 16 hours and my home town auto shop did not tighten my belts down enough and one of the bolts snapped causing loss of power steering. It was later in the afternoon, around 3, when I pulled off the highway and called Knaack Of It. When I explained my situation to Linda Knaack over the phone she couldn’t wait to help me out. I muscled the car the block down the road to their shop and from the instant I walked in the door she made my situation feel like it was handled and there was no need for worry. Mind you I’m over 1,000 miles from home. Linda helped me out so much, and even bought me a beer at Old Colorado microbrewery (which also highly recommend, I’m from Wisconsin I know beer). About a short while later she brought my car over to me with the broken bolt and said everything is fixed and we were square. Thanks to the kindness of Linda and the knowledge of John Knaack. I am still sitting in my perfectly working car blown away, choking up a little, and so enthusiastically please with this place! I would drive over 1000 miles just to have them work on my car again!!! A simple thank you just doesn’t seem like enough!
