Had brand new tires installed six weeks ago. I took my truck back yesterday for the fourth time in 6 weeks, Learning that the manager that I had been working with has been fired. The price I was previously given for replacement is now more than 10 times greater per the new manager. I asked if he could consider lowering the price, since I’ve already paid for the service and had this issue four different times. He said that he cannot do that, and the person for him to get clearance in order to adjust pricing is in California —and does not accept his calls. Nice guy, but very frustrating experience with the new manager, Drake. On top of that, the request for a review that I have gotten from my previous three services was not sent, instead I got an email that they canceled my appointment for yesterday. They did evaluate and give me a price, but he knew that I was not happy, so deleted the appointment so I would not review my experience. Hoping that people check Google Reviews, so that they can be leery of the shop and the new management.

If i could do 0 stars I would. DO NOT GO THERE for repairs. I received a quote online that was not honored when i when to the store. All i was told was that Pep boys is corporation and that they are not responsible for quotes given by corporate online. In addition i took my car there for replace the oil filter housing because it was leaking. Supposedly it was fixed i got my car back. Next day I had a flat so took the car to get the tie fixed and when the car was up they asked to come look under. They told me your car is leaking oil. I observed and yes there was oil all over my car. They charged me $1,500 and if indeed the car was fixed they didn't even bother to clean the underside of the car so a new leak could be identify if it happened. They did a terrible job. I involved customer relation at the corporate level and we shall see what happens. Never again in my life i will go there, even if it is the last shop on earth. I do not recommend this place. They a rude, unprofessional and terrible service.

They have gone up in quality since their last manager. The place is cleaner and more organized. Drake is wonderful, and Philip is so friendly. If you go, ask for Eric. He is extremely experienced and will give it to you straight every time.

Was there to get car inspected for Uber driving and paid $50. Today, my Brother went there with newer same size SUV, same size, better condition, they charged $80. Asked why and the employee says your brother got lucky and paid less. $30 more.. seriously? They can charge $50 2 days ago and $80 for another day with different employee? What do mean lucky? Maybe the employee that charged $50 was feeling good on that day and another employee today was feeling grumpy? I would not go there for anything else.

I have used this shop on two different occasions for my Escape. Service was done with a high standard, and my concerns were addressed. Drake was very personable and didn’t try to sell me on services that I didn’t need because he actually listened to what I was after regarding longevity of my vehicle. Very happy and appreciate the great service!

Daughter had a tire blow out Saturday night, made an appointment for Sunday at 9:30, website said they open at 9. Got there at 9:15, no one there. Called customer service, they had no idea. Left around ten, still no one there.

Website said they were open yesterday (Sunday - 9.7.25) and let me set an appointment. I showed up and the doors were locked with nobody there at 10:30 am. I wasn't the only one. I saw multiple other cars show up and try to get in.

Did not perform all the requested services that were requested online and in person. No oil change sticker they usually provide. Manager Ian calls to follow up once, says he will help make it right with some upcoming service needs. Then when I call and text to schedule he never responds. This place used to be decent, but with their lack of a full time manager and the transient staffing I don’t plan on returning.

Came here for a new set of tires paid 200 for each tire was about 900$ after tax. At the time of purchase the store was about to close so I came back a later day to get them put on and the manger informed me that HIS employee who sold me the tires had rang me up in the system incorrectly so for some reason he couldn’t put on my tires for free. I also saw there was a deal for the tires I had bought for buy 3 get one free which was not applied when I bought the tires I brought it up to the manger and he refused to honor that deal. I would avoid this place at all costs the manger Ian is a sleazy dude.

Be cautious about bringing your vehicle here. If you have a junk car, maybe they can get it running, but for anything else—look elsewhere. They can’t even perform a basic oil change correctly. I brought in a vehicle that wasn’t leaking a drop of oil. After they worked on it, my wife drove it home and within hours it was leaking seven quarts of oil. That’s a fast way to destroy an engine if I hadn’t caught it in time. I already called and spoke to the store manager—no accountability, no resolution. Keep the $30 you charged for the oil change; you’ll need it when negligence like this destroys someone’s motor. I’m sure there are good people working here, but this level of incompetence is unacceptable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands Down the BEST Auto Team in Castle Rock! I can’t say enough incredible things about the Store Manager—Ian, and Ron and Faith, and the entire crew at Pep Boys in Castle Rock. From the moment I walked in, they treated me not just like a customer, but like family. I had a flat tire, just days after replacing all of my tires with brand new ones at another Pep Boys, and Ian had to come out and break the news to me that I needed a new rim. He also had to tell me that my spare didn't fit after driving me to my home to get it. My car needed serious help — I had a damaged wheel and I needed all new brakes, and they went above and beyond to assist and get me the best deals. Not only did they help coordinate with Discount Tire to get a replacement wheel, but Ian actually drove me to my house so I could grab it. While all this was happening, my daughter got hungry, and you know what? He took us to Chick-fil-A on the way and ordered her FRESH nuggets. ? Who does that?! Absolutely above and beyond. And if that wasn’t enough — a few days later, my other daughter’s Subaru had a blown-out turbo, and of course, we brought it right back to Pep Boys. Again, they stepped up, tackled a TOUGH job with total confidence, and got her car back on the road quickly and safely. And fixed things that another mechanic had messed up and not taken care of. Every single person on that team is knowledgeable, honest, kind, and incredibly helpful. They turned what could have been a super stressful experience into something I’ll honestly never forget — in the best way possible. If you're looking for a shop that truly cares, knows their stuff, and will go way beyond the expected, this is it. I’m a customer for life — thank you all so much!! You never really want to go see a mechanic, but these guys make the experience so much better, and I really trust them, and that means EVERYTHING!

This team has consistently given me the best experience in town. If I do DIY work they'll help me look it over at a fair price. If there's an issue, I'm called out onto the floor to look at it with a technician. Amazing customer service. Great quality work. This is my spot and I'm sure it will be for a long time. Thanks team!

Faith was so helpful. My car battery died when I was parked at Verizon and she walked to my car with the charger pack and tester and charged my battery and I purchased a new one from the store. She was so helpful

Ian the manager was horrible today, came in looking for a battery they gave me a price which was way more than online price, faith the girl writing g it up said no problem then Ian said he couldn't do that price with a 30% coupon which i got off their website, horrible customer service avoid this store at all cost!!!

Extremely disappointed that the leadership of this store has no decency of changing hours of operation on the website. I had a tow truck take my car there with the expectation it would be open today. Tow truck gets there and calls to tell me the location is closed. On the door there is a hand printed sign that says: Due to staffing issues we close at 6PM and are closed on Sunday. If I would have seen that on Google or the website I would have had the car towed to Big O tires where I have a warranty for my tires. The online forum allowed me to make an appointment and no one called to follow up, I left a message via phone, and no one communicated this information. This locations lack of ability to provide customer care, has now complicated this tire fix, towing, and missing work tomorrow due to this mishap.

I was hoping to make Pep Boys my go to service center for my new Toyota. It was recommended by the warranty provider. They agreed to bill the work as warranty. In the end they handed me the bill. Unfortunately, they lost my confidence. I won't return. I'm still trying to get reimbursement.

The team at Pep Boys in Castle Rock has been incredible to work with! They handle the fleet of trucks for H3 Painting and always deliver fast, reliable service. Recently, we had an abnormal issue with one of our vehicles, and the store manager personally went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They didn’t just push a quick fix — they took the time to recommend products that would actually solve the issue and save us money. Their pricing is always fair, and unlike a lot of places, they don’t try to tack on unnecessary extras. It’s clear they genuinely care about the vehicles they work on, not just about making another sale. What really impressed us even more was the next time we came in — they asked how that particular vehicle was doing and even took a moment to ask how the family was. I don’t have enough good words to say about Ian, the store manager. As long as he is manager at this location, I will continue to bring my car here instead of the Ford dealership. He went above and beyond to help me and was so kind and knowledgeable. Eric worked on my car and he was also so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain to me what the issue with my car is, something Ford was never able to figure out on my Explorer. He also let me know that it appeared Ford may have damaged my drive shaft when they removed it. Something Ford left out when they returned my car after having it for 3 weeks.

Everyone I have interacted with at the Pep Boys in Castle Rock has been incredibly respectful, kind, and helpful. The GM always makes a point to take care of us and has personally given me a ride home when we had to leave our car overnight. They can do it all, and are very competitive on price. There is one thing more important than price when it comes to your cars, TRUST. Here you won’t be taken advantage of and you can trust the quality of their work on your vehicles.

I have used the Pepboys in Castle Rock, initially for tires, then other maintenance and repair needs. They have bent over backwards to understand my needs and work within my budget. Their service has been great. Ian, as the manager, is a great front end for the store and has always been a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them, when they can meet your needs.

I brought my 2020 Ford in to PepBoys in Castle Rock because my front end CV assembly was leaking. The Store Manager was amazing not only did he offer me a better financial deal but he also recommended that I call the Ford Dealer first to find out about my warranty and he really did not have to do that and I so appreciated that. Long story short I ended up having Pep Boys fix my car, they did an amazing job and Eric the mechanic definitely gets an a plus from me. Ian the Store manager is amazing and made me feel like I was the only customer there. Thank you so much

I've been going to this pep boys location for about 3 years now, and I am always super impressed with their professionalism and service. Though I have always had great interactions with all the employees at this location, Derek is especially awesome to work with. He always goes above and beyond to help customers and does so with a great attitude.

The guys at this pep boys location have always taken AMAZING care of my family’s cars. They’re knowledgeable and always go out of their way to explain why they want to do the work they recommend, as well as taking the time to give me a heads up about work that my car will likely need in the next year or so. They’re kind, professional, and genuinely care about their customers. 10/10 across the board, I will always bring every car I own here for as long as I live within drivable distance.

This was the best experience I’ve had with getting anything done on my car. The front desk/ seemed to be manager) was so kind, attentive, and did everything he could to insure great quality of customer service. Just so rare these days. I manage a salon, and work in customer care myself, and never once go out and have exceptional service anymore. He gave me a battery pack to come back the next morning to install a new battery. I had my daughter with me, he got me checked in, turned on bluey for her to watch, and reassured me it wasn’t a bother to have to bring my toddler with me to get my vehicle serviced. I will be coming here for all my future appointments. This man needs a RAISE. He was also in the process of training a new employee. Answering phones and helping other customers. He carried the weight well, had great communication with not only every customer, but employees as well. I am so appreciative. Who wants to get a battery replaced on their day off with a toddler. No one. But he and the rest of the guys literally made it so easy, and made me feel like I was in a living room at home with my daughter. Usually, being a woman in shops like these, it’s uncomfortable, they try to scam you, or they just say a bunch of stuff u don’t understand and push u out. Not here. I will def recommend this location to all my friends and be coming back as well for future car needs. Thank you thank you thank you. (:

TLDR: They broke three lug studs, but tried to hide one from me, and didn’t offer to cover the cost of the repair. I’m very unimpressed. I went to the Pep Boys in Castle Rock, CO to have my tires changed. They took a LONG time to get the change done. Peeking in the garage I could see something wasn’t going right because multiple mechanics were huddled around trying to troubleshoot some problem. After they finished more than an hour later I asked if everything went okay, and the associate who helped me said they broke two lug studs (one on each front wheel) because whoever changed the tire last “cross threaded the lug nuts”. I was the one who rotated the tires last, so I know that isn’t true. And the guy didn’t even offer to cover the cost of the work I now have to do. But it gets worse. I’m now getting started on changing the lug studs (which is a difficult process on a 2002 Honda civic), and as I was taking off the lug nuts I discovered that they had broken a third stud with a little thread left on the stud (see photo). Instead of telling me about it they apparently decided it was a better idea to put a new lug nut on to cover up the broken stud. Seems pretty irresponsible and unsafe to me given that a lug stud/nut that doesn’t have full thread engagement won’t have the same strength. I am so frustrated! Especially because replacing front lug studs on a 2002 is not a simple fix. The mechanics at this location do sloppy work and would rather blame you for their mistakes than making it right. If you need tires changed I recommend you take your business elsewhere.
