This place is great. My grandma had been coming down for years, and after an issue with a nearby autoshop, i was hesitant to trust a mechanic with my car. Chris i believe his name took care of me. Got my car back up and running, and now im on the road again. Definitely save yourself the headache of dealing with mechanics you're not sure you can trust. Now, i might actually look into maintaining my vehicle ?

Friendly and very competent. My car (2014 Ford Taurus limited) which suffered a electronic steering module failure was towed in their shop. Once the part arrived it was installed quickly and professionally. Very happy with their service. Would highly recommend them.

These guys are amazing especially Chris. So hard to find a good mechanic let alone honest good people. Helped me out on two separate cars and didn’t even charge me for the diagnostic. Little hidden gem in Northglenn and will be visiting them for many years to come.

Had my subwoofers stolen out of my vehicle while they were working on it. When I picked up vehicle was unlocked and around corner from their shop. When I called to inquire I was greeted with a rude " I've already spoke to your husband about it." ...no sorry, not an offer for any type of resolution other than checking the cameras which he said showed nothing of course. The whole thing seemed sketchy no broken windows and left a real nice deck in the car.

Chris worked on my car for a collision repair and he did a great job. He is so honest in his pricing and a pleasure to work with. I'm glad I was able to find him.

Chris is a guy doing what he loves. I have never felt like I was having work done that wasn't necessary. The rates are very good too.

Chris at American is trustworthy and does solid work. I appreciate that I have never felt I was being told I needed a repair that wasn’t necessary. I have felt ripped off by mechanics in the past, so having Chris for the past few years has been a breath of fresh air. Nice guy, too!

I definitely recommend this place! In the past month, I've unfortunately had to bring my car in twice, which is never fun. However, Chris was so easy and quick to work with. He was able to get my car in and out each time & was extremely helpful. I am a young gal & most places would take advantage of that by trying to sell me on things I don't need (or overcharge), but not here! Very trusting company and I will be recommending this place to anyone & everyone in the area!

Chris and his crew have been working on our cars for over a decade. In addition to many mechanical repairs, he made one of our SUVs look and drive like new after sliding down a steep embankment in the mountains, then made it drive and look like new again after we ran over a large boulder, and worked miracles yet again after we were rear-ended. He also made one of our SUVs look like new again after it was caught in the Arvada hailstorm last year. His prices are always reasonable, he'll always look for a less expensive way to do the work without sacrificing quality, and he stands behind his work. In addition, one of his employees is a former insurance adjustor, which comes in handy when making sure that everything is properly accounted for and fixed when you're dealing with an insurance company.

Chris is awesome with communication and Randy is a very professional body man with years of experience and together they have made this an easy repair to the 2-accidents my daughter was involved in! Highly recommend this shop.

I brought my modified Toyota to this shop for a suspension repair. The work was done right, quickly, reasonably priced and came with suggestions to finish fixing the issue I was having. We have lots of vehicles at our house, and I think I have found my new shop.

American Auto is a auto repair company you can trust to do only the right repair at very fair cost. This is a truely five star service that I will use and recommend to everyone. I took my car in one morning and described a problem with the front end (the drive end). He called back about an hour later and told me I needed a left axle and then said he would have it repaired the next day. Several hours later he called and told me the job was done. I picked the car up and it is now back to its smooth quiet running normal. And it cost a lot less than I had expected.

I have taken my '97 4Runner to Chris at American Auto for 3+ years. He does quality work and a thorough job at more than a fair price. He always shows me the worn, replaced parts and explains the work that was done. He is trustworthy and won't do or suggest unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend American Auto.
