Our experience was utterly fantastic.
1. Luis brought our car out to us and he really wanted to make sure that we were pleased with the job.
2. The car was immaculately washed on the outside and vacuumed on the inside.
3. He put on new license plates as we had lost one in the accident.
4. I asked him how much to push out a small dent on the rear right side. He just unscrewed the panel and popped out the dent with the back of a screw driver and replaced the panel.
5. I asked if they could repair the brake light above the rear window which was not working. He replaced the light bulb.
6. I asked how much I owed him. He said nothing.
Service and caring like this is unheard of these days.

The folks at G & C Auto Body treated me with such kindness Luis and Daniel and the rest of the team were very professional. They gave me an honest and fair estimate, and when I wasn’t able to afford the fix, they stored my car until it could be towed. They are fair and well adept at their work. I observed their shop to be pristine and their craftsmanship was astounding.
Recently the delivery car from work was in an accident. I chose G & C because we like to go local. I'm so glad we did. The team there is super friendly and kind. They consistently went above and beyond. Offered to pick our car and hold it while we figured out our insurance.
Their communication was great and always kept me informed. When the service was complete, and I picked up the car, it looked amazing. It looked newer than when we got the vehicle. I would definitely recommend G & C to my family and friends. Paul and the manager there were so helpful! Thank you so much for all you did for us.

Dropped off vehicle Christmas week was finished that week. Work was updated every 2 days. Vehicle was fixed with the upmost respect and class. Vehicle was cleaned in side Vehicle as well. Everyone working here is so nice. I took my car after a collision and they kept me well informed, via text or phone. My car looked brand new when it was done and I was very pleased. There was one little thing that needed attention and all were extremely helpful, going beyond my expectations. The location is super convenient and easy to get to.

Update on my original post -- a few months after the Sebastopol G&C fixed my rear-ended SUV, someone rear-ended my spouse's Prius! I knew where we wanted to go. As before, the team at G&C was very respectful, clear in their communication, and honest in their recommendations. The work was done ahead of schedule, and they returned my spouse's previously dirty car in sparkling-clean condition. Will definitely return the next time someone rear-ends us!

Absolutely the best customer service I've experienced in a really long time. They helped with every step of getting my car repaired: estimate, working with the insurance, coordinating with the car rental agency. They were great at communicating about the process and timing of my repair. And when it was complete my car looked like new! I highly recommend them. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of! Thanks guys!!!
Had a run in with a nail today that pulled my front fender off. Drove 3 blocks over to G&C at 4:45 to schedule a repair before they closed. Daniel whipped out some tools and fixed it on the spot for no cost. Thanks for your great local service and spirit!
First of, the work done was perfect. The new manager Luis is a gem - a great communicator, he made the process as painless as possible.
Unfortunately, he wasn’t around during the week the work was being done, and there were a few glitches in communication along the way. But this is precisely why he has been brought in, to rectify that situation. When I hadn’t heard about the status of the vehicle on the Friday it was supposed to be finished, I popped in on my way home from Sebastopol the following Monday, about a week after we brought the car in, and caught up with Luis on his first day back. He apologized profusely for the communication glitches and brought me up to speed on the car, informing me it would be done the next day. He explained the reasons for the delays, all of which made perfect sense, and made everything right for me. By the end of that conversation, I was more than satisfied.
I am totally convinced that G&C has found the perfect manager to set stage for the Sebastopol location to become one of the best body shops around. As I mentioned, while the work was superb, he is now making sure customer communication will be vastly improved. Knowing he’s now in the driver seat over there, I have no compunctions whatsoever about whole heartedly recommending G&C auto body shop in Sebastopol.
If I could give more stars, I would! Everyone I worked with to get my very damaged vehicle repair done was courteous, communicative and professional. Paul was my contact person for most of the repair and he made sure I was always informed of the progress. With broken glass on the inside of the vehicle, he made sure to take the extra time to properly blow the vents & vacuum. The body paint matches perfectly. He communicated with my insurance company as well as the car rental company. He considered all aspects of the repair carefully. My car looks better than before I brought it in and it was fixed in less time than I expected. I highly recommend G & C in Sebastopol (and I don't write reviews). Wendy
Everyone at G & C was great. Courteous, attentive, knowledgeable. Workmanship was excellent and job was completed on a very timely manner. Luis even came in on the weekend so I could pick up my car and arranged for the return of my rental.

I haves used G&C Body Shop several times over many years. I find them to be the most accurate and meticulous estimators. I have been treated respectfully and given really good expectations when working with them regardless of the employee. Each time the work has been excellent. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND G&C.

They went above and beyond with their service. They ordered the parts and got them in a timely manner and had my car ready to go within a week. They also dealt with all the insurance and made everything very streamlined. They also have the best prices around and the nicest staff!!

Worst experience I’ve had with an auto body shop. I have used this company In the past on a low budget car repair( seems that’s all they can do) and when my new GMC truck was damaged I brought it to them. This is now my 4th time bringing the truck back for very poor work done. The cut corners and did not do a complete job. My factory wheels are still scratched after two trips back to them. The new paint had imperfections and over spray on the windows when I received it back for the second time. The worst service writer Paul was a waste of time. He has no understanding of a quality repair or does he care the job is done correctly. I will go out of my way to save others from dealing with this terrible shop.
